If your talking about when I said I thought paden had meant height and length, I didn't mean I thought that was how big Dilo got, that's just that I thought that was what he meant.

I'm not saying Dilo is as big as T-Rex. It doesn't take a genius to know that. I will be honest that I am pretty dense at times.

@xenothinker well hammond ordered them to be eradicated but dr sorkin some how managed to ensure they stayed alive.. she kept them in the quarantine pens at the south dock they escaped and ran loose around the island

I know that suddenly there is a ton of activity at the Stan winston school for character arts about jurassic park so that may tell you something about that they are hustling and bustling with JP 4 but, Stan winston is dead and after his death they may have closed down the manufacturing part of Stan winston studios.

Did ya notice that trex get to 43 feet in length not 23 feet! I can't believe you are also taking early jurassic yes but how much did you cross reference because they are so early it is early jurassic late Triassic . Dilophosaurus was the apex predator of its time there is no denying that but the jurassic brought along bigger predators that quickly outcompeted the dilophosaurus into extinction! You all need to go to a museum once in a while and see some of the skeletons and read up a bit on it:)! I can't believe you guys are being so dense about accepting the fact that you are wrong! Dilophosaurus never got as big as trex! And especially not any of the species you list above (

In-Gen I looked it up, Dilo lived in the early Jurassic. Some got as big as T-Rex. Gigantosaurus, Charcharadontosaurus, Spinosaurus, Mapusaurus.

I am amazed that all of you are willingly dense! Dilophosaurus lived in the Triassic period and nothing got as big as the tyrannosaurus! Length wise or height wise! I don't believe that you all believe this, do some research!

I don't think they will limit themselves to the Dinos seen in the embryo cold storage thing. remember that we only saw the one side of it(there were embryos that went all the way around the thing) Also I think that really when it comes down to it, one land Dino isn't really much "scarier" than the next. One might be a different color, have weird horns or crests, fly, swim etc...but what makes one scarier than another is the execution on screen. like when the raptor went through the pipes and stuff behind Sadler (I nearly pooped my pants the 1st time I saw that.) or when the Rex was feet away from Grant and Lex by the car stairing at them trying to figure out what they were. those are scary moments that don't really require specific Dinos to be scary. they're what I call "horror movie moments" All said, im STOKED for this to come out! Feel free to disagree with me though lol

Xenothinker, I did some research on the cold storage room and the dino embryos that appeared in JP. When the scene starts, the embryos visible are Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, Gallimimus, and Metriacanthosaurus. The Last one, Metri, could very well be the terrifying dinosaur we are anticipating. It was not a superpredator, but a medium sized therapod of the genus sinraptorid. This could look REALLY scary if the visual effects are done well, and it could be justified because the embryo was in the original JP. Here is the problem with that; why would hammond keep the animals a)alive and b)even bothered to ship them to Site A from Site B? It wouldn't make any logistical, financial, or even practical sense. The other issue is this; will the film makers take JP The Game as official canon to the movie verse? In the movie verse, we already know Hammond had other paddocks or attractions which weren't going to open until 1-2 years after the park officially opened, thus allowing the sea animals (bad idea IMO) and flyers. Since this is taking place on Nublar, we have to consider the idea the dinos we will see are the ones listed in the genetics lab for sure. The only conceivable way to include new dinos is if inGen were to try and re-open the park and ship Dinos from Site B to the main isle. Which even the idea itself is not that great considering the canon of the first 3 movies. The company is now under terrible press do to the events in Lost World, so any attempt on their part to go and re-open the park is not going to sit well with the population.

well i think well probably see a nocturnal troodon, in the game they were very elusive... and scary good lord they popped up and around anywhere and with the poison abilities of a dilo who knows theres also thought to this because it says hammond discontinued the troodons because he couldn't turn a profit off of them thats why we dont see them in the main dna capsule in the film

i think if they were going to do this for the next game it would include a shirt that says :SITE B TEAM ingen isla sorena, a park badge, an ingen sticker, some sort of trinket and other things you would've found on site b (some items from the book maybe?)

I thought you would have meant in height and length. Even if that was the case, Dilo would have been so light compared to T-Rex, and yes, it would be "outdated" due to the fact that T-Rex had two periods of time to evolve versus Dilo that was one of the first dinosaurs. Dinosaurs just didn't get T-Rex or Spinosaurus big early on. Where any of the big carnovores around in the Jurassic, or where they in the early Cretaceous and on?

correction i said it grew to about the same height and length not exact there was a slight height difference of about an inch and thats compared to a bull t rex not a female t rex (female Rex's were bigger then male rex's) dilo probably couldn't compete much with the rex, in terms it was "outdated" in "weaponry" due to being one of the first carnivores int eh early years of the dinosaurs

In-Gen It was Paden that said Dilo got to the same size as T-Rex. S-Rex (doesn't have the same ring as T-Rex) said Dilo got to 20 feet long. I do agree with the 2 to 3 times the bite force of a croc (probably just assuming, like how everyone assumes T-Rex was a hunter, I think it was, scientific evidence proves it, but apparently that's not good enough for some people).

heres the catch about telltales games there not spose to be FPS's because the theme of telltales games puts you in the director seat, THATS WHAT MAKES IT INTERESTING also when i go first news of another jp game i sent away for it immediately paid 50 bucks but i got it before the i pads one came out i got the deluxe edition ill take some pics later (deluxe edition is AMAZING great for any jp nut) i liked it also because it showed us more of the park then the movie but with the next jp returning to nublar we may see another side character adventure from telltale :D dont let us down telltale

I just got all 4 episodes from jurassic park the game on my IPad and I am loving it! It is so much fun on the ipad and I love it too... I mainly like it because iris a whole other look at the world of jurassic park and i love the marine exhibit! Super cool!

Hey "Spinosaurus Rex" I don't trust your opinion one bit.. Ya know why? On the thread I started "resurrect dilophosaurus" you said that the dilophosaurus grew as big as a Tyrannosaurus Rex which is completely false. (Do some research) Also, spinosaurus had a crocodile like head but it is very thin and flimsy and thoughit is bigger it wouldn't have "2 to 3 times a crocodiles bite force" it would probably have more but it wouldn't have more than a T- Rex. And to be completely honest that whole duel in the 3 film was completely ludicrous anyways because it was just a Godzilla jab and just made these animals look like monsters. Plus I believe that they would be very closely matched in a fight. Plus they were separated geographically I got my spinosaurus tooth from morocco and my T- Rex bone fragment is from South Dakota! No one should listen to Spinosaurus Rex because he doesn't know what he's talking about!

well i guess it was a bit bad but they still have licensing rights so they can take another crack at it

dang it well looks like roland tembo is replaced by roger tembo his son (he is 14 in TLW) im trying guys also has anyone noticed that roland and Robert Muldoon are almost identical ???? so why not another muldoon or tembo to take the place (id imagine that roland would've told his kids to stay away from ingen...) id like another muldoon more then a tembo oh well it doesn't matter its just a plot sketch ment to be changed also thanks for noting this pmzanetti :) much appreciated sad that he died though :'(

I highly doubt Spinosaurus will appear in the new film it makes absolutely no sense for him to be on Isla Nublar as you rightly say pmzanetti. However i would like to ask you why Baryonyx would be a mistake in at least giving him some screen time? I don't want him to be the new predator but i would like to see him.

One way or another, they are going to introduce a new predator. Because they can. Not because it will be better, but because they can. Here is a list of options, all of which have no pontential and will end up being a mistake: Troodon Raptorex Mosasaur (or any marine reptile) Spinosaurus Baryonyx If the central focus of the movie is Isla Nublar, abandoned these 20 years, then possibilities are certainly limited...without some nefarious character(s) doing something stupid like aiding the dinosaurs proliferation on Isla Nublar. If we see Spinosaurus show up on Nular without an insanely good explanation, then I've lost all faith already. 20 years of abandonment would create a certain type of ecology on Isla Nublar. For instance, the carnivores would carve out their own territory and would only survive in number based on the available prey. After that much time, a small pack of raptors & a pair of Rex would be lucky to still survive with an initial prey population of barely 200 herbivores.

The telltale game was awful. Aside from a few very nicely done scenes that were stunning visually, the game and plot were atrocious. Honestly telltale should be embarrassed.

I agree with S-Rex, Dilo wasn't near as big as T-Rex. It was a Titan in it's day though. Dilo was around it the early Jurassic (it was so primitive it had three fingers and an opposable thumb). It would be cool to have a full grown Dilo in JP4.
