Cant wait for it to be back in isla nublar! I agree with dino fanatic that with respect the idea may be a bit too much and be to repetative to things we may have seen before . Anyway : Well the fact that its on nublar is good news! Our old dinos are Back with avengance! 20years later 20 years wilder away from humans, jurassic park is a more savage place than one may remember. I don't know about this.... One, how would dinosaurs get off Nublar? You can't do it by boat, that's already been done. Two, the whole idea of dinosaurs in a city seems kind of bland. It sounds just like Rise of the Planet of the Apes or King Kong. Fans want something fresh, a brand new plot that takes place on the island. Hopefully with the news that JP4 will take place on Nublar, this means the movie will stay on the island, not LA or the mainland. I respect your idea, I just don't think this is what fans would really be interested in.

No way. They'd better get together and really work. I could live with it if they'd announced, back in January, that the movie would be out in 2015. But now that they announced it to next year already, that's exactly what I expect to get (a two-month delay would be acceptable, ok). I'll be really disappointed if they have to postpone it for another year.

I still think it'll be a good movie, if it's pushed a month or 2 back then that's ok with me but 2015? no way, I've been waiting long enough since 2003 when I first read about them developing it, first they said it was supposed to come out in 2005, then 2007, then 2009, after that they seemed to have scrapped it. Until now, which seems pretty official and I am really excited for it.

we've only had skin preservation on maybe 2 or 3 dinosaurs the most recent one being a hadrosaur we've never recovered a carnivore most of the time its nearly impossible to tell.... we have to make and educated guess also dont go hating rex fro being found first no one looks in deserts one look and i think its just a barren wasteland with nothing in it. stop hating t rex for being found first and being said to be better....

I would be okay with it being moved back AT LEAST two months. No more tough, I have been waiting too damn long while Jurassic Park IV was in developmental hell to have the film be moved way back to 2015 after already giving us a release date. I am very positive that the new installment will be wonderful. Besides, I would be extremely mortified if it were to be pushed that far back.

i have to tell you that it may be out around june it wont make its due date it will be pushed back a month or so but it will still come out in the summer

It depends, if they do move it to 2015' then it better be an AMAZING movie. If it stays with the current date, it should still be a good movie. I could live if they pushed it back a week or two or a month.

Well, they'll move it if they have to.... we'll see how it plays out. I definitely don't want them to rush, but usually they'll move the date back if they're crunched for time. Let's see a cast!!!!

My script would be: A boat has stranded on the coast of Isla Nublar by an huriccane. Only seven people survive the huriccane. They must find a radio to connect them to the mainland. But there is one problem, they don't now that they have stranded on an island full of dinosaurs. So they go to the centre of the island where the biggest predators are living. But this time there are more and bigger dinosaurs on the island. Either way, I love to see JP4 next year. I can't wait to see the movie.

These are all great ideas and I'm glad everyone here seems excited about it. If you're interested in submitting script ideas, write out a plot and submit it to the producers for review. Yours could be in the next movie, game, or book! I myself hope to see a movie that stirred me as the first one did. I remember when I was much younger and saw Jurassic Park for the first time. My entire body trembled with glee and a feeling like I never felt before filled me. I went back to see that movie five more times in theaters every chance I got. I also collected movie cups, toys, shirts, games, cereal boxes.. anything I could get my hands on that was Jurassic Park. The movie to me was art, the music incredible, and the 3D version reawakened that feeling in me when I went to see it. While others might have simply shrugged shoulders, the added tweaks for 3D effects made it almost as memorable as when I first saw it as a child. I'm very much hoping this will turn out to be a well thought out movie that will help bring a rebirth to the Jurassic Park franchise.

I know, I watch a lot of Dino-documentaries ever since I was a kid. Also wanted to add in that raptor part because both are coelurosaurs meaning they have feathers.

Xenotaris If T-Rex did hunt in packs, it would most likely be family groups (parents and 2-4 kids that survived).

@spinosaurus rex whats your problem? What do you have against T rex the animal? I like both creatures, though they messed up on spinos teeth in JP3 and gave him/her T rex teeth. Your hatred for T rex shows through when you bash t rex on everything including the poor creature's name. Spinosaurus has a great name, no need for it take T rexs name. Aegypticus sounds like a cool name, but they could latinized the word Pharoah. I'm on team Tyrannosaurus, but I love all dinosaurus equally. T. rex has Binocular vision and has more of a avian (Bird) brain opposed to spino's more reptilian brain. Tyrannosaurus might of had feathers therefore might of been Warm Blooded. Tyrannosaurus also has the strongest bite force. As for T. rex's vestial arms, he or she didn't really need them, also Tyrannosaurus hunts in packs like their raptor cousins.

Yeah also in the books they combined them more than just frog DNA, they also used snake, lizard, fish, and bird DNA. So for the Dilophosaurus spitting ability came from the spitting cobra DNA and the frills from Frill-lizard DNA, and its skull possibility of DNA corruption with an unknown therapod (which I've read in the JP Institute that its the Movie Dilophosaurus was using a T. rex head). So carnotarus has the Chamelon DNA inside its gene-code.

@spinosaurus rex and Dinosaur_fanatic There geneticly engineered dinosaurus, they had to fill in the genetic senquence gaps with lizard, bird, and amphibian DNA according to the books. Remember, these are not pure blooded DINOSAURS, the genetic MUTANTS that merely LOOK like DINOSAURS. So many people forget that detail, its so annoying.

Jhawkins That is also true that it had the evolutionary advantage. And Spino could get his time in the spotlight in 50 years when we know more about it (and possibly time travel). Spino probably would have been called Spinosaurus (or something similar due to it's sail). I think T-Rex was discovered before Spino due to location (seriously, who would even think to check in a desert).

Ur right in respect that it would be called something different . It got called rex because at the time it was the biggest ! But it would t be spinos name . Cos spinos name is already quality! It dont need the rex bit on the end , i love the "eagypticus "! And there is still alot to learn and discover about spinosaurus! But wht we know about T rex as a fact ! Not opinion or theory, is that it has the binocular vision for a 3D world like us n any bird of prey due to the narrowing of the bridge of the nosel ,it has the sense of smell the equivalent of 50 bloodhounds , has thicker bone density , thicker skull density to absorb shock n sustain jaw and neck muscles to innisiate the bite force, banana sizedcurved surrated spikes as teeth with a 5inch route so they never broke wen biting down to the bone or biting tanks like ankylosaurus or battling with triceratops. He is so advanced evolutionary -wise is prob y he is so popular!! In 50 years spino may get his turn in the spotlight wen we know more about him and more have been discovered

RexFan90 has a point (that is truly the only reason I didn't like JP3 as much as the other 2). And I agree with Dinosaur.Fanatic, both are great, but I like T-Rex itself better. Spinosaurus Rex (nice name by the way), not as much as you think would be different (maybe Spino would have been called Tyrannosaurus Rex, which means Tyrant lizard king). But seriously, spine lizard king just doesn't have the same ring to it. Their names may have been different, and maybe what we know about them (T-Rex was discovered over 100 years ago and we are still learning about it, so really, Spino is like a child and our knowledge of it is limited, but that will change).

Well said, RexFan. That was very moving. . I'm on team Spino, but that's only because I like the dinosaur itself better than t-rex. I totally agree that Rex would most likely have the advantage in a fight, and I admire and respect both dinosaurs and think they are both awesome!!!

@Spinosaurus Rex Well, the point of making dilophosaurus a juvenile for JP was one, to show how deadly even a young dilo can be, and two, so that T-rex wouldn't have any attention taken away. But I see you're point. I'd love to see a full size adult dilo for JPIV!

I'm a T-Rex fan and didn't like its substitution in JP3, but definitely not because the Spino killed it. I disliked Spino taking over simply because, to me (and I really mean me), the Jurassic Park magic, the one that took my breath away in 1993, lies in the T-Rex. It was the T-Rex that made me speechless when I was 12 and watched JP for the first time. It was the T-Rex that took me to the movies 4 other times to watch the same movie. It was this dino that made me watch the film over 40 times on tape (yes, until the fortieth, I counted). When I listen to John William's amazing soundtrack, it's the T-Rex that comes to my mind. That's why I couldn't care less when I read about facts that account for which of the two would actually win a fight due to strength, size or anything. If I wanted real facts, I would go watch a documentary instead of the JP films. If I wanted facts, I would completely disregard JP films because, come on, what are the chances of anything depicted there ever being real? That's why I didn't like to see the Spino rule JP3. At least to me, that was not the JP that completely overwhelmed me when I was young and kept doing it with TLW. And I don't dislike Spino. I just don't think it should be JP's star.

I forgot to mention the pivots. Those thing are so funny, I don't watch them to see what could happen, I watch them when I feel sad about something because they are just so funny. I added a video on YouTube with my emblem and some other things.

I guess that could be true with the mutations in some, JP3 pteranodons that attack people, the dilos, and the "chameleon" carnotaurus.
