Thank you SOMETHING REAL and yes John Morrison, if it was explained well I think it could be very promising!
That was incredibly good and vividly detailed, brilliant! I don't think there's anything wrong with your writing! I think you should follow this up with another instalment! It was fantastic!
erhm no, i would say Spino's claws were not retractable. That's a trait of the Felinidae, which are mammals. Spinosaurs were a totally different kind of animal
this was actually quite good! far better then mine, gonna be hard to beat!
i enjoyed this one, like how you tied it in with your other story.
I found this one very realistic. I really felt her discontent toward her job along with her resentment for the Patel Corporation. The only things that I caught for improvment were the lack of paragraphs dividing the events and the spelling of Rhamphorhynchus. Still this did not take away from the story and I think that it is an interesting and believable sub-plot. Great work and somone would have to do an extraordinarily excellant job to beat this.
Thanks. I originally was going to have an Allosaurus, but I thought Carnotaurus would be cooler. And yes that's what I was leading up to.
Interesting, finally Carnotaurus is included in the movie franchise, and the escape could be seen as an effective forshadow as well as the arrogance of man leading to his inevitable downfall. Good work.
Wow! That was great. It will be extremely hard to beat.y
Cool and very fun to read, great work.
As long as they explain how they did it realistically then I don't see why they can't include creatures from the late Paleozoic era.
Thanks. You did a nice job too.
Thank goodness you put the cliffhanger to rest. Great job. Going to have a hard time beating this one.
Very good, nice job!
Thanks Something Real. If you want to be able to view the presentation, just let me know :)
Raptor, you should have it now.
Thanks guys hope my next story will be as good as the first.
That ladies and gentlemen, Is one of the many reasons this challange, is worth participating in.
Peter, u sound that you havnt really got a clue pal.
Spielberg chose goldblum, dern and neil because they WASNT A class actors at the time, the original film made them who they are today. No matter what any of them are in on another movie they will always be that bloke or that girl from jurassic park. Just because of how good they were in JP1 , countless of ppl such as harrison ford turned down the role of alan grant as sam neil wasnt first choice. And then spielberg geniously put the funding he would have spent on harrison ford into the special effects.
Spielberg turned these guys into well known actors and because of the love of the film ppl LIKE YOU havnt even tjought about any of this and what effect top billed cast would make.
dont be to hasty to pass judgment especially when the movie isnt even out yet. They could all be shit hot for all u know
thanks something real, i'm debating if i should make this a full length story after " The tyrant of Alberta" has run it's course
Nice ending, looking forward to the next story.
P.S sorry about not posting in a while I've been very busy.
For my saurian form,
i'd have to go with
the body, legs and arms of a Deinocheirus.
The head and might of a Tyrannosaurus.
An Ankylosaurus club on the end of my tail.
Large three ft long raptor claws.
The agility of a Velociraptor and the comprehension of a Troodon.
Size: 70 Ft long
30 ft tall
7 tons
Color: I would be dark terracota orange. Big red eye spots on the Deinocheirus hump. And an olive green underbelley color going all the way up to my lower jaw.
thanks guys! that's great you liked it so much. Definetly was interesting to write!
It is most likely to have creatures that lived along side the dinosaurs, maybe a few from before. Anything is possible though. What I really want to know is what the scary new dinosaur is going to be. I mean, it can't be replacing Tyrannosaurus Rex since it's on the logo for the movie.
Nice. Gonna be hard to top this, especially considering time is something I don't have right now.
Umm, yes but what then is the deal with those giant dragonflies in the first novel? The common movie goer would not be really capable of making the distinction between dinosaurs and earlier large reptilian life forms, they would just call all of them dinosaurs, same goes for pterosaurs, pliosaurs etc. but yes I respect that it would be a new and maybe not universally popular turn for the franchise, I was just wondering. Thanks for your thoughts on it guys! I still do think some non-dinosaur horrors would be incredible though! Giant amphibians such as Prionosuchus or crocodiles like deinosuchus. I do hope they introduce the larger pterosaurs that existed aswell and do not just focus on the common pteranodon. Regardless, it's looks like the movie is heading in the right direction so it's all good!
Just poitning this out, Dilohposaurus was from the Jurassic period. The Early Jurassic period. It would make alot more sense scientifically for the sceintists of Jurassic Park to have recreated recently extonct mammals and birds. But I dont think the movies were going for realism.
