Wait just a damn minute, you're guessing that Rex to be 12m, and the Spino to be 13-14 m. That makes no sense because Rex is only up to Spino's shoulder, and that would be at least a 3-4 m difference.
Nice was rooting for rex. And just made the first chapter of my series
Great series, looking forward to season 2 (if there is one)
Was rooting for rex!
Thanks guys.
Jhawk, that's the only pic of the Rex and Giga skeletons I know of.
Carnosaur, Black Beauty is an adult, though she's the smallest one known(about 11 meters long).
Nice fight, was rooting for titanoboa!
So, what this discussion is about makes no sense, but a piscivorous biped weighing 11 tons does?
Rooting for rex , and for the next fight I think the snake will win
Nice fight, I was rooting for Titanoboa.
Nice fight, I was rooting for the King, as usual.
Nice story, I rooted for the mosasaur
Thanks guys!
@Hiphopananomus There is no proof on a 15m Giga. Read my previous post on it's biggest specimen findings. If there is, i'd like some sources if you can provide.
Gigantosaurus averaged around 13m. Biggest specimen is MUCPv-35 which it's size estimates are 13.2-14m long(14m might be an overguess though) and weight around 9-10 tons.
I guess Giga was shown instead of Carcha. But this just brings up more questions. Giga was certainly not shorter than Rex. Same goes for Carcho and a couple other Theropods.
What this graph shows is i'm guessing is:
12m long Tyranoosaurus Rex
12.4m long Carcharodontosaurus (grew a bit lager)
13-14m long Spinosaurus (sub-adult)
Do you have a source/article for Spino's Arm length? Or that it had a certain degree of reach? Unless this is a new find, this theory didn't make sense.
probably more something like 15 meters.
Nice chapter!
At parity means at same dize and ignore all natural requirements and have both combatants fight
At parity? Well, that's one young Utahraptor... However, say that the Balaur was magically grown with a grow-ray of some sort. I want to say Balaur, but I'm not sure.
Who do u think would win , balaur vs utahraptor at same size
Spinosaurus to name one. Probably Balaur bondoc as well. Honestly, there's a ton.
I agree but what other theropods perfectly match their environment in your opinion
There are plenty of other beautiful therapods out there, but few can match how well adapted to its environment the Tyrannosaurus rex was. It is this reason, that I find it to be beautiful.
Here's a brief explanation for the armor: the armor pieces are on long chains from when the humans controlled these creatures, and the dinosaur stands directly below the armor pieces. Then, other creatures snap the chains and the armor falls onto he creature.
T. rex is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful creatures to have ever walked the earth, and these skeletons alone prove it.
Thought Black Beauty would take this one for sure.
Nice mounts some of these museums got. I remember what Tyrells mounts looked like before they did the complete overhaul of the museum.
It's kinda scary actually.
I think the Mount of T-rex with an Apotasaur would be a really nice addition to Tyrell if they ever wanted to add more.
(Good list. Three times tyrell was in there... Yeah!)
Nice fight. Surprising outcome. Rooting for dragon next.
