MemberCompsognathusAug-10-2014 2:19 PMT.rex. The most notorias flesh eater ever. The king of the dinosaurs. So many exhibits show this tyrant in all it's glory. But which are the top 10? Let's find out...
10. Samson
After his discovery, Samson was put on eBay for 8 million dollars(US). He failed to sell, but was later purchased by a British millionare. Samson's owner plans on sending the T.rex on an educational tour, making samson the only mobile T.rex on the list.
9. Bucky
Bucky is a young T.rex. He's been put in a number of different poses, including lying down, simply running, and, as pictured above, taking on a Triceratops with another T.rex.
8. Jane
Jane has been the subject of contraversy for years now. Upon being put on display, she's been hailed as one of the most complete juvenile T.rex's yet(55 percent complete). Her pose shows an active lifestyle, something young tyrannosaurs are thought to have had.
7. Thomas
Thomas is a subadult T.rex. He's on display alongside two other specimens. This exhibit shows the different growth stages of T.rex, thomas being the largest of the 3 and showing what a T.rex looked like just before being an adult. Thomas was 17 when he died.
6. The Royal Tyrrell Mount
This T.rex is utterly huge! Not just that, but in my opinion, this is one of the most intimidating looking T.rex specimens out there. Don't know why, just something about the skull just gives me the shivers.
5. AMNH 5027
One of the most famous T.rex skeletons, AMNH 5027 is a throwback to the good ole days. It doesn't have the tripedal position many skeleons used to have, but it has no natural setting around it like many do today. It's just the skeleton in all it's glory. If you like the "old school" look, this one's for you.
4. The Denver Mount
The first T.rex to be displayed in an active pose was this one. Standing tall and leaping forward as if attacking prey, the Denver mount is quite impressive looking, simple as that.
3. Sue
Sue is the most complete and one of the largest T.rex skeletons found so far! She measures an impressive 12.8 meters long and is some 85-90 percent complete. Sue is also possibly the most famous individual T.rex in the world.
2. Black Beauty
The most unique T.rex on the list, Black Beauy is also the smallest adult T.rex known. During fossilization, her bones turned black, giving her her name. She's one of the most beautiful fossils ever found as well.
1. The Holotype and Peck's Rex Face Off
The holotype(right) and Peck's Rex(left) give us one of the most exciting T.rex exhibits around. Two of these tyrant dinosaurs facing off over an Edmontosaurus carcass. Not only is the display impressive, but we're talking about the first T.rex found here! Considering I've seen this display a number of times myself, I can tell you that it's without a doubt the best T.rex exhibit!
PS- Found this pic of the Royal Tyrrell Mount and a Giganotosaurus specimen cool. Figured I'd share it with you...

MemberCompsognathusAug-10-2014 4:59 PMI saw black beauty about a year ago, absolutely fascinating find. Wasn't it a young rex as well?

MemberCompsognathusAug-10-2014 6:08 PMThought Black Beauty would take this one for sure.
Nice mounts some of these museums got. I remember what Tyrells mounts looked like before they did the complete overhaul of the museum.
It's kinda scary actually.
I think the Mount of T-rex with an Apotasaur would be a really nice addition to Tyrell if they ever wanted to add more.
(Good list. Three times tyrell was in there... Yeah!)

MemberCompsognathusAug-10-2014 6:12 PMT. rex is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful creatures to have ever walked the earth, and these skeletons alone prove it.

MemberCompsognathusAug-10-2014 6:42 PMThere are plenty of other beautiful therapods out there, but few can match how well adapted to its environment the Tyrannosaurus rex was. It is this reason, that I find it to be beautiful.

MemberCompsognathusAug-10-2014 7:16 PMSpinosaurus to name one. Probably Balaur bondoc as well. Honestly, there's a ton.

MemberCompsognathusAug-10-2014 7:26 PMWho do u think would win , balaur vs utahraptor at same size
Silver_Falcon
MemberCompsognathusAug-10-2014 7:40 PMAt parity? Well, that's one young Utahraptor... However, say that the Balaur was magically grown with a grow-ray of some sort. I want to say Balaur, but I'm not sure.

Jhawk, that's the only pic of the Rex and Giga skeletons I know of.
Carnosaur, Black Beauty is an adult, though she's the smallest one known(about 11 meters long).
