MemberTriceratopsMar-31-2025 10:59 PMSo, I came across a hilarious leak from last summer's film session for Jurassic World Rebirth!
Jack Horner and Steve Brusatte are back as paleontological consultants, and as evidenced by a previous feud from the set of Dominion (or Fallen Kingdom? I'm not sure, it was a while ago), they butted heads again...angrily.
The leaked footage shows the two having a heated argument where Brusatte called out Horner for letting his T.rex = scavenger theory become such mainstream "fake news" and saying "that's why JP3 flopped!" (honestly, this is so foolish, that controversy died 20 years ago).
The hilarious part is right after Horner started to respond, the raptor animatronic operators decided to make it move, snapping its jaws and claws at the two as if it were alive! I think the hand claws even clipped Horner at some point.
It was so unexpected that the two of them just started laughing.
That's certainly one way of breaking the tension XD, though it seems pretty dangerous to do something like that so unexpectedly.
I think there was a Spinosaurus animatronic in the background too? it was hard to tell because the background was out of focus, but the general shape looks like it belongs to the JP3 Spinosaurus!
