Fight made possible by Catzilla.

Titanoboa errejonensis

"Titanic Boa"

Length: 12 meters

Weight: 2 tons

Era: Paleocene

Part of the "paleone paradise" exhibit at Jurassic World, this monster sized snake is more like a giant teddy bear. It is highly food aggresive though, and extreme precautions are to be taken when these snakes are being fed. They take one cow every two weeks, and even that is thought to be too little. They are extremely hardy animals, and can last up to a year without food if the occasion rises.

Mosasaurus Hoffmanii

"Lizard of the Meuse river"

Length: 13 meters

Weight: 4 tons

Era: Cretaceous

A highly aggressive sea reptile that does not even tolerate the presence of its own kind, only one is kept at Jurassic World. A few species have been attempted to be introduced to the Mosasaur, but they were violently shook and torn to pieces. Despite this, The mosasaur remains a very popular attraction at the park, and even has its own attraction: "The mosasaur feeding show". Great white sharks(already deceased) are hung from a rafter, and the sea reptile jumps to get at its food. Quite the spectacle, and sharks are used predominatly to mimic the feeding habits of these creatures in the wild.

Here we go..

Driven by desperation, a fully mature fourteen meter mosasaurus makes his way up a fresh water estuary. The giant sharks that inhabited the coastal waters off of Nublar had depleted the food sources of this giant aquatic reptile, and this male has left his territory in search of greener pastures. Being a salt water creature by nature, the fresh water was slowly but surely taking its toll on the beast. He had become very lethargic, and having not eaten in days wasn't helping the matter, and if he was going to survive he needed to eat something.

His immense bulk was having a difficult time navigating the narrow streams and estuaries leading into the main land, and the crystal clear waters were making it difficult to ambush any thing. The hadrosaur and sauropod herds quickly vacated the river banks as they saw these ancient behemoth making in their direction. As the time wore on, the hunger pangs were getting worse.

Not too far off, A female titanoboa began to slither her way into the water. The intensive heatwave that now gripped the island was good for the giant reptile, but too much heat isn't really good for any animal. She slipped into the water, immersing her twelve meter long body under the shallow waters. A bit of her back stuck out of the water, and a couple pterosaurs landed on the scaly skin, picking off the ticks and various other annoying invertebrates that were making a meal of the giant snake. She too had not eaten for a while;the Edmontosaurus juvenile she had overpowered and sucessfully swallowed didn't last as long as planned. After a few minutes, she began to make her way south, towards the open ocean - and set for a collision course with the Mosasaurus.

The river dropped off into a forty foot abyss, and this would ultimately be where the clash of the reptiles was to take place.

The Mosasaur saw the giant snake first from a distance of about forty yards. Instinct drove him forward. This thing was marginally smaller then him, and it would last him for a good week or so if he could manage to kill it. He propelled himself forward, darting forward, jaws agape.

The Titanoboa saw the giant sea reptile swimming directly for her, and she turned to flee. She had just turned around when the Mosasaur bit down around her tail.

Instinctively, she began to loop around and attempt to crush her attacker. She had managed to get three coils around His abdomen and one around his neck when the Mosasaur began to thrash violently. The lack of motion forward or upwards caused both predators to slowly sink down towards the abyss, the water getting darker as they slowly made their way down. The mosasaurs teeth cut deep into the scaly reptilian skin, staining the crystal clear water a dark red.

The giant snake tightened her grip turning the front of her body around and latching her jaws onto the monstrous meuse river reptile's skull. The water frothed violently as the two giant reptiles clashed.

The Mosasaur continued thrasing his head, cutting deeper into the Titanoboa's flesh. After about another minute of this, he had completely cut through. A section of the giant snakes tail floated limply to the surface of the water, blood mixing with the water and turning it very cloudy. The snake loosened her grip and tryed to reposition her body, attempting to get a coil around the Mosasaurs throat. The giant aquatic reptile bit down around the Titanoboas neck, but his jaws locked on very poorly. His grip wasn't enough to saw through the scaly flesh.

The Mosasaur was beginning to loose his oxygen reserves, it had been at least forty minutes since he last surfaced. The giant snake around his throat really wasn't helping matters either. He jerked his body upwards, dragging the giant snake upwards with him as he slightly breached. The scene caused the hadrosaurs at the river banks to scatter in fright.

He submerged once more, and mustering his strength, tryed dragging the snake into deeper water. Slowly but surely, they made Their way - still interlocked in mutual combat- towards deeper water.  The Mosasaur dragged the snake against the sandy gravel of the river, but the snake was unrelenting in its grip. The monster snake threw another two loops around the lower section of the mosasaurs abdomen, all but letting go of the giant sea reptile as she was dragged into deeper water.

The massive snake tightened her grip, exerting close to a ton of force per square inch as she was dragged along. The mosasaur thrashed feverently, but to no avail. The snake continued to tighten her grip, and she noticed the giant sea reptile was beginning to slow down. As they got into deeper water, the Mosasaur was virtually motionless. She began to loosen her death grip, flicking her forked tongue out...looking for any signs of life in the giant reptile.

His jaws hung open limply, his eyes slightly glazed over and his entire body was now only staying upright in the water because of the snake. The tremenndous force she had subjected him to had caused two ribs to jut out of his skin, and it was almost a certainty the giant reptile was dead.

She had lost a substantial amount of blood, and a large section of her tail had been cleanly bitten through. The wound bled horrendously, and as she released her grip completely, she struggled to get to the waters surface. She got into shallower waters, the highly grained sands scratching at her soft underbelly. She lifted her tiny head above the water, and rested for a couple of minutes. The giant pool of blood and a massive sihlouette showed where the mosasaur lay, and the tell tale fins cutting the waters surface signaled a feeding frenzy for the local bull sharks.

Winner...Titanoboa

Authors note: It was a close match-up. I didn't really know a whole lot on these creatures, other then their size was vastly exaggerated when they were first discovered. Research on modern constrictors and even monitor lizards helped me write this one out, and ultimately decide the victor

Odds: 50-50

Nice fight! I was rooting for the Mosasaurus, but it was still a cool fight.
