I often estimate Giganotosaurus to average 12-13 meters long and 6-7 tons in weight. A max size for it would be around 14 meters in length and 8-8.5 tons in my opinion.

Hmm, we have 3 specimens, the first measures around 41 feet and 7 tons, the second one is a jaw fragment 8% bigger then the first it's hard to tell whether or not it reresents a bigger specimen if we say it does it would be about 44 feet long and 8.2 tons, and the 3rd specimen, has not been fully discribe. But, based off what dino fights said it would measur around 50 feet (15 meters) no weight has been said but I'd say a minimum of 8.5 tons and a maximum of 9.4 tons , that's just me though.

About that other specimen, I was talking with DinoFights once and he said his sister thinks 15 meters may be too high. She didn't give a new size, but 15 meters isn't likely any more.

What I hate is that we ausumme that the average for a Dino is a certain measurement when we found 5 specimens when u think that we have yet to find a average. Giga could average 35 feet it could average 45 feet. These could be juvinells just like with the apatosaurus

The Jaw fragment is a little too fragmentary to get a real good size estimate off of. 15 meter estimates a just speculation, as Dinofights sister was probably hinting at. The 13 meter estimates for the jaw fragment are more accurate imo.

Gigantosaurus averaged around 13m. Biggest specimen is MUCPv-35 which it's size estimates are 13.2-14m long(14m might be an overguess though) and weight around 9-10 tons.

@Hiphopananomus There is no proof on a 15m Giga. Read my previous post on it's biggest specimen findings. If there is, i'd like some sources if you can provide.

Thats the final news on the specimen, it hasn't been fully described yet, whether it was 15 m or not is up for debate.

That's like me bring up the 2.4m Spinosaurus skull. Not much is shown about it and is a private specimen. His sister is in a dig site? Hmmm

As i know the biggest giganoto is the most fragmentary so tell it's size as a fact is...you know...i'm not going to say any bad words.maybe giga was only 13,5m or maybe it was 15 m.but the real question is that how big was the giga's follower on the S-american throne?
