Well, technically, this series didn't exist until 5:22 AM server time, and this debate week didn't even exist until 1:00 PM server time. Just the same, 5:22 AM for the server is 8:22 AM for me, and I was getting equipment ready then.

What the...? I check on the site after a good solid 10 hours of running tractors and a combine, and now I'm in a debate? Kinda caught me on a bad week. Civics project due Friday, 70 acres of soybeans to take off, school. Ah well, I'll try to have something soon.

I really can't wait until this documentary airs, and we get to see how Spino would have moved in its environment. It looks really good!
My one problem with the video is that the newscaster's introduction implies that Spinosaurus was only recently discovered, as if it's an entirely new dinosaur. Most kids I know today know what Spinosaurus is, thanks to JP3 (which is inaccurate in too many ways, but still).
From the picture, the arrow that starts from the text Spinosaurus, brings to the middle Cretaceous. The figure itself is placed on the Jurassic timeline, most likely because of the picture constrains.
It seems you are right. For some reason I thought T.rex fossils were constrained to the Hll Creek formation.
Wait a minute, since when is there a speculation as Spino being in the Jurassic? It was probably most definately in the early-mid cretaceous.

I do know that they have actually found a T. Rex in the city of Denver, Colorado. Its in a formation called the Denver Formation. They have also found Triceratops, Edmontosaurus, Ornithomimus, and Pachycepaphalosaurus there too.

Too fragmentary to confirm anything though. I'm not saying it's impossible of course, but the evidence is not enough to confirm it.
Educated guess and studies. They can take the brain cases from the skulls of dinosaurs and go from there.
