Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus was a large carnivore that lived in Egypt during the Mid Cretaceous period. This individual is 13 feet tall, 42 feet long, and 5 tons.
Sarcosuchus was a large carnivore that lived in Africa during the Early Cretaceous period. This individual is 3 feet tall, 45 feet long, and 2.5 tons.
BEGIN!
A Spinosaurus is fishing in a river. He swims about halfway through it, and catches a small fish. After he eats it, and sees a large Onchopristis and swims towards it. However, before he can catch it, something bites its tail and pulls it away. The Spinosaurus follows the creature to the shore, and sees it hobble on the sand, carrying the kill in his jaws. Then, the Spinosaurus realizes that the creature is a large Sarcosuchus.
The Sarcosuchus begins eating when he feels something sharp hit his back. He hisses in pain, and turns around. He sees the Spinosaurus staring at him. He hisses at the dinosaur, and snaps at his arm. The Spinosaurus pulls his arm back defensively, and slams them on the top of the Sarcosuchus’s head. The crocodile hisses in pain as the Spinosaurus continues to slash at him. When the Spinosaurus is about to slash again, the Sarcosuchus clamps his jaws around the Spinosaurus’s arm, and the dinosaur roars in pain and surprise. However, that’s when the Spinosaurus rears up onto his hind legs.
The Sarcosuchus’s jaws are still around the Spinosaurus when the dinosaur slashes his throat. Blood splats onto the sand as the Sarcosuchus falls to the ground, hissing in pain. The Spinosaurus stomps one foot onto the crocodilian’s head before it can attack again. The Sarcosuchus thrashes around a bit, and then it sees the water. If it can get the dinosaur into the water, he could possibly win…
Eventually, the Spinosaurus removes his foot, and the Sarcosuchus hurries into the water. The Spinosaurus starts eating the Onchopristis carcass, and the Sarcosuchus disappears below the surface. After a while, the Spinosaurus returns to the water, and he feels something powerful grip his leg, like being stabbed with a bunch of small, sharp knives. He roars in pain, and shakes his leg around. Eventually, his ankle is soon broken by the creature’s jaws. Blood spills everywhere, attracting more carnivores.
Smaller crocodiles and large fish come in and attack the Spinosaurus, but the Sarcosuchus soon scares them off. The Spinosaurus roars in pain as blood spills out of his multiple wounds. However, he turns around and smacks the Sarcosuchus in the face. The blood makes it hard for the Sarcosuchus to see, and the Spinosaurus uses this to his advantage. He smacks, bites, and slashes the Sarcosuchus until it swims away. The Spinosaurus bites onto the crocodile’s tail and tears a chunk off of the end. Then, the Sarcosuchus turns around and swims at the Spinosaurus with open jaws.
The Spinosaurus slashes the Sarcosuchus in the face, damaging one eye and tearing its gums. The Sarcosuchus tries to flee, but the Spinosaurus continues his assault. After a while, the Sarcosuchus turns around and bites the Spinosaurus’s neck. However, the Spinosaurus gives a full-on assault and starts slashing the Sarcosuchus’s neck. It’s not too long before the Sarcosuchus lets go and sinks to the riverbed. The Spinosaurus takes the carcass and swims towards the shore, desperately trying to avoid the smaller creatures attacking his wounds.
Eventually, he makes it to the shore with the Sarcosuchus’s carcass, and lies down on the blood-stained sand. He begins eating, and a meal this large will last him a while, which is good, because his multiple wounds need healing. However, with his wounds, he may not survive for long.
Winner: Spinosaurus
His agility on land and in water and his claws helped him become the victor of the Dinosaur Death Duels set 3 finale.
