Hi everyone, my name is Jason (as my username suggests)

Favorite dinosaur is Spinosaurus

Despite Spinosaurus being my favorite dino, my favorite JP movie (or movie in general) is the original Jurassic Park.

Interesting fact about me: I first watched Jurassic Park when I was 2 years old and from then on got hooked. I would watch it nearly everyday of my life up until I was around 4 years old. At that time it was recorded on a VHS much to the dismay of my older sisters who had to rewind the tape every time I watched it.

Unlike many people I love ALL three films. Of course the first movie is on a different level than the other two but I still love LW and JP3.

Other than JP I love Lord of the Rings, Marvel comics, animals (especially reptiles) and am currently taking up Mechanical Engineering.

Ugh, I will make it tomorrow. I just made the whole thing and I SWEAR I was logged in, yet when I hit the submit button it said that I was not logged in and it deleted my post. So then I logged in, and guess what it said? "Error: you are already logged in." And then I remembered that I copied what I wrote, but it turns out that since I copied some pictures for the post that was deleted. It is late where I live so I'm tired and not really in the mood to re-do. Its amazing how everything in the world can be against you, ya know?

ANUPAMME - I would greatly enjoy a Grant cameo within the film! Other than that, I doubt Grant will show up extensively. It's nice to hope, regardless! :)

Discovering Achillobator

Considered to be one of the largest members of the dromaeosaur family, Achillobator (“Achilles Hero”) was discovered in Russia in 1989 by gentleman archeologist and explorer Burkhant and is thought to have reached lengths between roughly five and six meters (approximately 16 to 19 feet) and could have stood as tall as 2.1 meters (around 6.8 feet), though it likely cut a shorter and more streamlined figure. Based on the one and only disarticulated holotype specimen available to science at present, Achillobator was a fearsome hunter that stalked the flats and forests of ancient Mongolia some 90 million years ago during the height of the Cretaceous. Purpose designed by evolution for both speed and power, this animal was very likely among the most successful predators to roam the lands it called home. Presenting a terrifying silhouette, Achillobator possessed articulate, grasping hands armed with razor-sharp claws, jaws designed to rend and grip prey in a merciless embrace of shearing blades, and agile feet each dominated by sickle-like claws built for a single and undeniable purpose: the swift and brutal slaughter of any life-form unfortunate enough to be hunted by their voracious owner. Interestingly enough, Achillobator actually represents something of an evolutionary quandry with regards to its physiology, having been stated as being a paleontological chimera. This is due to the fact that it displays primitive saurishian characteristics when compared to other dromaeosaurs – particularly with regards to its pelvic girdle.

My opinion stands well with Gman's.

It would be cool if we could get a mention from him, at least, which I think they will.

Yeah, I heard he had no part of it, but I can cross my fingers that they kept a cameo under wraps...

Alan Grant is my favorite character of the series largely due to Sam Neill's performance. He carries such gravitas with him in that role. Even though Grant was sort of an idiot in Jurassic Park III, Neill still made up for it by staying entertaining and lovable.

One can hope.

I doubt this would happen, since the two little adventures he had with the JP dinosaurs...

However a small cameo (even flashback) would be nice indeed.

Achillobator was a Dromaeosaur, similar in size to Utahraptor, that lived in what is now Mongolia about 98 to 83 million years ago. By Dromaeosaur standards, it was huge. Achillobator means "Achille's Hero." It was a standard Dromaeosaur. It had a sickle claw on each of its feet, it was fast, it had large forearms, and it likely had a coating of feathers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this a "vs" style debate. Therefore, when and where said predators lived, and what they lived alongside, is irrelevant.

While Achillobator has an obvious size advantage, Austroraptor had an agility advantage. Just the same, being a Dromaeosaur Achillobator would have been extremely agile as well. Also, being a Dromaeosaur, Achillobator likely hunted in packs, making it a force to be reckoned with. I will say, a large Dromaeosaur taking on a more agile large Dromaeosaur would be a heck of a battle to see. All in all, I say that whatever Austroraptor can do, Achillobator can do better.

I'm 100% glad I saw this but still wish I haven't had seen it because it might have been more exciting to have watched the movie and THEN find out about the goat.

But still pretty f*cking awesome, needless to say.
