Dinozilla,
I visit here off and on. Official reviews normally start spilling in the week of the release, so I actually expect to see some over the weekend, but the review embargo likely doesn't lift until Monday.

Siks,
Technically two negative reactions depending on how you look at it. The 1 guy out of the 4 that didn't like it was someone different than the person who said it was on par with JP3. But even then that assumes the person who said it didn't like JP3. Remember, there's still a hefty amount of people out there that like the movie.

PrimalKing,
Just a realistic prediction and being cautiously optimistic. Even the good reviews are careful not to call it the best Jurassic Park movie, which of course wasn't going to happen anyway, but normally rabid fan(boy) reaction can have that affect. Granted it's a small pool to pull from though. And as I clarified above there may be 1-2 negative reactions out of it depending on how you look at the JP3 comment. Still good though-- It's not going to be a hit with everyone.

Overall this is nothing but early buzz. No official reviews, but it's nice to have some sort of indication of how audiences might react to it. Personally, as long as it's a fun movie I doubt I'll have too many qualms.

Saw an article for this the other day, it does bring me more comfort that the movie will probably be great!

@Sci-Fi King25- You did get the reference! Finally, someone fell for it!

And your're very welcome!

@Lone- Thanks, that was the whole idea! I've always loved it when history and science are presented in ways like this, not only do you learn but it's fun and it sticks in your head!

After viewing the Comparison shot Provided by @Sci-FiKing25

They are totally different. The JP3 spino was much MUCH larger. Regardless of updates to the fossil record, the Spino From JP3 was Rex size... This feels like, allosaurus size. Too small. Perhaps, Maybe a Juvenile in captivity that died? It doesn't fit in with cannon to be a Bred One. So, It's probably just a normal fossil casting.

Well done 401!

The way you have written this interesting topic, with a mix of knowledge, enthusiasm and humour was very entertaining. XD

If only more scientific subjects were presented in this way, science would be much more fun!

I doubt there'll be a three way like that, but Rexy destroying the skeleton would be nice to see, for reasons stated above.

It appears to be the skeleton of the updated version of Spino that fanboys hate with a passion.

Anything can be racist and/or sexist if you look hard enough.

"Oh my god, the woman character is wearing a dress, that's sexist!"

"Oh my god, the black guy is eating fried chicken, that's racist!"

People will find something to complain about in everything, so I say just ignore the people saying something is sexist or racist for stupid reasons.

I don't understand why you say: "good, but not great sequel" Out of those 8 reviews posted, one was negative. Sounds pretty great to me.

I've never heard that, but it's not true in the slightest.

@AlphaDino, HOW, in ANY way could ANYONE think that Thomas the Tank Engine is sexist? I'll need to further research this theory...

Anything can be considered sexist/racist/etc. in today's society.

Neither should you get your hopes so low. People can lie on the internet, so simply. Like lying about your age on an account registration.

I actually thought you were serious with the leaving note.

It's been a while since I've seen a funny yet serious topic. I believe I caught a Jurassic Park novel reference with the "next iteration".

The pictures with descriptions were pretty fun to read. Thanks for a full history on dinosaurs as seen by paleontology!

It's nice to see all those positive reviews. I really hope that it does turn out to be a worthy sequel. It is mentioned in the article that the guy who said it was on par with JP3 disliked the idea of the film from the very beginning and that he was 1 out of 4. So 3 out of 4 people enjoyed watching the film while 4th guy sort of forced himself to watch it. He probably won't be the only one, but so far he seems to be a part of the minority much like there is a minority that dislikes the very first film.

Still waiting for the early critic reviews, but good to see some pretty positive reactions. Any idea when the early reviews come in?

As a side note, this Is the first time I've seen you in the JW forum.

@Sauronithoides- Well that was pretty epic, lol. I guess maybe I could attempt to have an "epic" gym workout before the movie... Thanks for the idea...

Writes down in planner

I might try to play the Jurassic World LEGO game before the movie... Assuming there's no spoilers...

This actually was quite the outstanding piece of work!

It arose the oil that is the Dinosaur's, back into Dinosaurs! It cresented and confined the birds back into Raptor's! It made the eagle the Dactyl, it made the swan the serpent, the crocodile the Sarcosuchus!!!

@Lord Vader- Thanks. It's good to know you laughed at this. Yes, it was very long, and I do hope it was worth the time to read it.

x_paden_xJurassic World ForumAbout the Spinosaurus Skeleton

I enjoy this head cannon a lot, But let me explain a bit of a problem with it.

It's teased that the Masrani Corperation returned to Sorna to secure some "Assests" Granted, that can be anything from Machinery to Specimens.

The Bones could poetentially be recent, Yes... But I think they might just be, Fake. Y'know how in museums the bones are too fragile for physical display, so they make plaster copies of them. I think it might be like that, The Visitor Center in JP1 Just had the bones tinted a shade darker. These bones are just more bright, Perhaps from the resin used in production or the like?

I do in deed like the head cannon though, A continuing motion from the first movie with raptors. But We already see the ACU soldiers getting there rears kicked by a Dinosaur, So, why make it happen multiple times?

Of course... Colin teased something about the Spino. So, We'll never know for a couple more days. But, this is a brilliant head cannon.

Good job,

-Paden

SAURORINTHOIDES - That is an incredibly compelling hypothesis! I had not considered the possibility of the bones being "recent". If your theory proves to be true, that will be extremely interesting! The Spinosaurus from Isla Sorna was in no way, shape or form a pushover! I can only imagine what it would have taken to bring such an imposing and powerful animal down! :)

SAURORNITHOIDES - You were of great help! It is always quite agreeable to have others whom are willing to shed light upon subjects I find to be less than pleasing - especially those that illustrate the way in which everything seems to be offensive to today's insular society. The fact that I can speak to intelligent individuals who are not incapable of discussing a topic from an objective standpoint is quite encouraging. Thank you. :)

RAPTOR-401 - We each carry within us a drive to create and provide the world with our very best. We strive to realize our potential in all that we bring forth from our imaginations. Some of us are fortunate in that we can visualize what we see with our mind's eyes, and you are certainly one so gifted. I am extremely proud of the incredible time and effort you obviously placed into the amazing presentation you have been so kind to share with us. I was moved by the tone and care you instilled within your work; it is obvious the subject means a great deal to you. The fact that you chose to mention me is humbling and I am honored by your choice to consider me a friend. All in all, I will simply say this: Bravo, my freind! You truly have the heart of a gifted entertainer! :)

SAURORNITHOIDES - That is phenominally ridiculous. The stealing of land? Where do individuals come by their outlooks? Ugh! I am left with a distinct feeling of severe displeasure with regards to the way in which people have begun to devolve socially. However, the information you have presented was somewhat humorous! Thank you for sharing! It helps to keep things a little more light-hearted! :)

1. I'd probably wake up early at June 12 ( since im busy for the weekdays and only the 12th is available since its a holiday in my country :3)

2. i'd do 3 sets of push ups, 10 kms of jogging, lift some weights, brush my teeth and pet my dog and cat.

3. Stop myself from loggin in the internet, the sci fied guys have already seen it and my fb page will probably be crawling with spoilers.

4.  Do the t-rex run around the house while doing the t-rex roar, thats ok, im a 24 year old its no big deal.

5. Go to the nearest mall with my brother (22) who is also a hardcore dinosaur fan.

AFTER THE MOVIE.

6. Contemplate about how good or bad the movie was. (good for 2 hours )

7. probably play Jurassic park: The Game.

8. Make my own Jurassic park inspired manga.
