I agree T-rex is larger. An average adult is 43-46 feet long and weighs 7-8 tons. The biggest Giganotosaurs were that big, but the biggest rexes were 50+ feet long and 9+ tons in weight. It's also more robust than Giga and therefore, heavier. When scientists look at size, weight is the determining factor as far as who's largest. Plus, T-rex was the most advanced of the large theropods. The theropods were slowly getting bigger as time went on- Allosaurus, Charcarodontosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Spinosaurus, Giganotosaurus, T-rex. It just makes sense that T-rex, which was the last and most advanced large carnivore, would also be the biggest.

A pack of Albertosaurus would be cool. A bunch of mini T-rexes running 30+ miles per hour. Mapusaurus would be cool too. I would like to see an abelisaur of some kind. Whether it be Carnotaurus, Tarascosaurus, Majungatholus, I really don't care. I just think they should get some recognition.

I agree. Spino ate fish, small dinosaurs, and carrion. T-rex ate ceratopcians, ankylosaurs, Alamosaurus, duck-bills, etc. Spinosaur was longer, but Rex was heavier and stronger. Spino did live w/ Charcarodontosaurus and the giant croc Sarcosuchus, but would likely back down if he came across one. Tyrannosaurus was also more advanced. More intelligent. He was the smartest, fastest, strongest, and quite possibly the largest terrestrial carnivore ever.

Had a good read through ya link! I loved the attention to detail that i have NEVER noticed untill now about the T Rex eye dilating when lex shon the flash light in its eye. Had to look at the clip again to see it to believe it lol Was a great touch, very clever .

All of the paleontological evidence points toward Tyrannosaurus taking the cake. He was a larger carnivore when it came to mass, he had to take prey that was not only well armored, but extremely deadly. Spinosaurus ate fish, the only real challenge I could see a Spinosaurus facing would be something like a Leoplurodon, maybe even Predator X. I'm also still quite skeptical on the size of Spinosaurus they've never uncovered a full skeleton, only some pieces. Those were destroyed in a museum in Europe during WWII. I just didn't appreciate the fact that they had a new dinosaur come in out of nowhere with no backstory and take down our tyrant lizard king. Either way, evidence points to Tyrannosaurus defeating Spinosaurus.

Just went and saw Jurassic Park 3D then came home and watched Jurassic Park III !!!! I'm just obsessively pumped about the movie!! I can't fully express how much I want to see marine dinos in Jurassic Park IV. It's such a great idea, it's something fans have yet to see, it could explain the boat wreck at the beginning of Jurassic Park III, and, like Jack Horner said, it could be truely horrifying portrayed on the big screen! If Jaws terrified people years ago, think of the heartstopping footage we could accomplish with todays technology by incorporating Predator X!! Great ideas! PS. well i wouldnt say its not possible that theres water dinos we did see a mossasaur in jp the game what other dirty secrets has ingen hidden from us gerry harding the chief veterinarian even said he didn't know about the mossasaur so what eles is there ingen could have a big sea world like aquarium on site b or on site a??? id like to see some water dinos in it but not alot of them 25% water dinos but it dosent matter id like to see more of both islands it dosent matter how we get there its what happens there that i care about

I would keep Tyrannosaurus and the Velociraptors. They are classics. I would like to see a Rex beat a Spino like it should have. I think sea creatures and maybe some giant crocodiles would be cool. You could have either Spinosaurus, Suchomimus, Baryonyx, or some other fish eater at river and suddenly, a 40 foot Sarcosuchus bursts out of the water and attacks it. Just a thought.

i think that the whole "warzone" idea in movies is a bit overused for example king kong, Godzilla, jp tlw, and many more... we need a NEW clever idea for the next jp and try are best not to reuse old idea

i would add a big war zone in a city between people and dinosaurs

If you remember in the first one the fat man that stole the dino dna samples was killed and the barbasol can that had them was washed down and covered by mud. since Ingen is broke a rival company could be doing some sort of work on isla nublar and find those samples and there is a number of plots that could come from that.

I like the idea. The thing is though, it should be used for a different series. Jurassic park in space would be cool, but, it just wouldn't be the same.

Carnotaur was actually quite small, only being 20 feet in length.

They weights were about the same actually, both around 7 tons give or take a ton. That Rex in JP3 was the smallest T-Rex of all the other movies and it was probably a young one too. That was a disadvantage for it.

Should be new nocturnal dinos ppl getting killed one by one in the dark like THE DECENT. Scare the shit out of ppl haha Plus it can by like them dinos on JP:the game That hunt them ay night ! Would make sense. Underwater dinos r too big in my opinion as cool as they r , n apart from having an underwater facinity ( which would disclude all land dinos btw the whole film probably) it would then need to be big enough for a whale sized animal to break in to then cause havock n make a film out of it. Summin that big ud stay out the water completely , ud never go on a boat if it would eat that aswell n sink it! I think it COULD work if it was as u said like a discovery at the end of a film and the cast a mirracuously lucky to have a sub marine piolot on board lol it could be before it finished so it CONTINUES ... Like a cliff hanger To the next film, so the trilogy is in 3 parts as apposed to the characters landin nearly dying then rescued like the previous 3. If tht happens DAKOTA u could be on to a winner. Even if it's skull was longer, that does not necessarily mean anything. They were proportioned differently, that's all. An anoconda can be longer than a crocodile, but a croc can be many times heavier.

Yeah, I think T-rex would win. Spinos sail would probably be a disadvantage. It would make him less agile and was full of blood vessels. It a rex bit it, it would be like a big blood filled cookie for him. Yum, haha. I even think that, while Spino was 6 feet longer and maybe taller, T-rex was much heavier, and therefore, bigger. Spino=4-6 tons, T-rex=7-9 tons or more. Just sayin

i suggest if you guys are being skeptics about this "3d" you shouldn't be skeptical i've seen some footage that was transformed to 3d it was highly good

I'd like to see Utahraptor, Charcarodontosaurus, Giganotosaurus, and maby see some herbivores fight some carnivores.

I doubt liopleurodon was heavier. But the blue whale isn't the animal that ever lived. Sauropods like argentinasaurus, sauropodsiden, amphicoelias were longer.

Ceratosaurus was already in Jurassic Park. The 3rd one. When they got off the boat and were searching for the phone in Spino poo. That reddish Dino that showed up was it.

Charcarodontosaurus was longer, taller and heavier, but they base it's size off just a skull that Paul Sereno found. The skull was larger than any tyrannosaur skull found so that's why they think it was bigger and it probably was.

Ur an expert paleontologist and u say Trex had a much deadlier arsenal of claws? Ur not a paleontologist. Yes teeth and probably strength but not claws. It had small arms and small claws, it couldn't even itch its face.

I'm going to set this straight right now for anyone who thinks Spinosaurus would win. T-Rex would win, u can argue it all u want but here r reasons why. T-Rex does have a greater bite force. But that doesn't mean it wins automatically. Spinosaurus had longer arms than T-Rex but that doesn't mean anything. If u look at what the fought and ate during their time you will know the difference between them. T-Rex lived with Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, and Edmontosaurus. It was difficult for T-Rex to get a meal against tough prey. Triceratops 8 foot skull with 3 foot horns. Ankylosaurus was covered in armoured bone and had a deadly bone breaking club. T-Rex had challenges. Now Spino is larger no doubt , had longer arms with big hook like claws. Those were used for fish!! Its snout was long to catch fish! It ate fish! It had its nostrils up closer to its eyes so it could stick its mouth in the water and still breathe. They also killed some juvenile dinosaurs. But those r juvenile. Nothing like T-Rex. Spinosaurus would piss him self if he saw T-Rex coming at him.

How about this. Following Hammond's death Grant, Sattler, Malcom, and the kids. All get together for the funeral. Hammonds last wishes were for his remains to be put on the island. So they all take get on a ship and set out for the island. While on the way there Hammonds grand son is watching a video of his grand father talking about another island or a secret facility on one of the original islands. (we only get a glimpse of the video but dont know the full detail yet.) Then when they finally reach the island and are getting ready for Hammonds funeral service they are attacked by some large marine dinosaur. Everyone that survived the attack flees to the island. Everyones panicking once the reach the shore. But then start to head toward the visitors center from the original film. Once there they start searching for supplies. Then while everyones out gathering what they can Hammonds grandson confronts Grant saying i know how to get us off the island. And tells him about the secret facility that his hammond told him about. They set off to the facility in one of the original Ford Explorers. (But on the way the are being pursued by some strange looking dinos. Once they reach the facility they find a test lab. Were they find out they were genetically combining the dino genes reulting in the Chaos Theory) or (they get to the facility and find plans for an underwater park. There is a sub marine inside the facility they get in and take the sub through an underground tunnel that leads them to out of the island. Right before the credits they see these giant cages with some of the marine dinos in them but one is broke open.

To Korpen The bit about the amber blood sample, LOL. T.Rex, like most carnivores in the history of forever, would not give up a free meal, unless it looked absolutely disgusting, even for their tastes, unless it was desperately hungry and it was the only food for miles.
