Forgive me for my theories on more marine Dinosaurs making it into Jurassic Park 4, but I had to post up this idea. If JP4
features a new marine Dinosaur, I think a likely candidate would be the previously discovered Predator X, more recently named Pliosaurus funkei.
This massive predator spanned 40 feet and had a 6.5 foot long skull, packing a bite force 4 times that of Tyrannosaurus Rex and featured rows of massive, razor sharp teeth. Certainly not something I would go fishing near!

With Jack Horner's recent mention of scarier Dinosaurs in Jurassic Park 4, I'm thinking they may feature a marine Dinosaur - like this one, because nothing is more terrifying, than being stranded on a boat, with a 40 foot monster coming at you. Think JAWS - scary.
What do you think? Do you think the scary new Dinosaur in Jurassic Park 4 could be a marine Dinosaur? Or do you think they'll stick to land-dwelling predators?
Give me your ideas and thoughts below!
well i wouldnt say its not possible that theres water dinos we did see a mossasaur in jp the game
what other dirty secrets has ingen hidden from us
gerry harding the chief veterinarian even said he didn't know about the mossasaur so what eles is there
ingen could have a big sea world like aquarium on site b or on site a???
id like to see some water dinos in it but not alot of them 25% water dinos
but it dosent matter id like to see more of both islands it dosent matter how we get there its what happens there that i care about
Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way

Just went and saw Jurassic Park 3D then came home and watched Jurassic Park III !!!! I'm just obsessively pumped about the movie!! I can't fully express how much I want to see marine dinos in Jurassic Park IV. It's such a great idea, it's something fans have yet to see, it could explain the boat wreck at the beginning of Jurassic Park III, and, like Jack Horner said, it could be truely horrifying portrayed on the big screen! If Jaws terrified people years ago, think of the heartstopping footage we could accomplish with todays technology by incorporating Predator X!! Great ideas!
PS. Thanks Chris, the t-shirt arrived today! :)

I think some sea reptiles would be cool. Maybe not as the main focus, but some side predators.

The pliosaur idea is interesting but otherwise there are various species of mossasaur, and perhaps some of them could tolerate freshwater; such as bull sharks today. However a mossasaur in its maximum size would be great, as Tylosaurus. One thing I like about these creatures is the snake/lizard Monitor form and the double-hinged jaw.

I'd love to see a marine dinosaur for the next film as well, either a Leopluradon or Mosasaur would be awesome. Though I think Pliosaurus here would be pretty cool to see too.

A battle between an Elasmosaurus, 46 feet long and 15-20 tons, against a Mosasaurus hoffimi, 50 feet long and 25+ tons, would be amazing. Mosasaurus would probably win, but it would still be cool.
