It would seem [i]Universal Studios[/i] is phasing out the [i]Spinosaurus[/i] from Jurassic Park. Comparing the original [i]Jurassic Park 3[/i] BluRay cover first, and then the most recent BluRay cover below. You'll notice the Jurassic Park logo has reverted back to the classic Tyrannosaurus Rex emblem. Could this signify that [i]Universal[/i] has decided to ignore Spinosaurus' involvement in [b]Jurassic Park 4[/b]?

So, do you think this could be a potential clue that we won't see a rematch between Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex in [b]Jurassic Park 4[/b]? We'll have to wait and see.
Im actually kinda happy that they used a new dinosaur dont get me wrong i love t-rex but the jurassic parl films were getting alittle the same they needed something different...do i think the t-rex shuld have won???...yea and no...yes because t-rex was stronger but no because it was only a juvenile. But for the nw jp i hope they either use ( spino, t-rex, baryonx, allosaurus) i hope they dont use the marine animals yea it would be cool but then the humans are even more vulnerable....

they should keep the old spino logo for jp 3 it made it more interesting dont get me wrong i love patriotic jp red and yellow rex but there needed to be some change or else you'd just walk by it at wall-mart mistaking it for a earlier jp. but the 4th should have the old jp logo but its chromed with different metallic finishes.
if your curios why they used spino its because for the logo of each movie they put the dominating dinosaur twice its been t-rex but since the spino killed the rex (thats the baby we see in jp2 tlw) he took the title

x_paden_x that t-rex from jp3 wasnt the baby from jp2 if it was then i would have a scar on its leg witch it doesnt also it most likely is still on the eastern side of the island when the third film took place on the western island, i mean he could have traveled but its not the young t-rex from jp2

@JVANNEST well where did it get the scar????? plus scars heal over time given the 6 years in between the movies it probably healed.

Spino should not be phased out for JP4. I think Spino should come back, make the mistake of challenging a full grown, hungry T.Rex that is about to chow down on a carcass, and get killed because T.Rex would rather have a fresh meal.

I freaking loved seeing the Spino come into play in number 3. He was such a boss and was factually bigger than trex. I do love both dinos I just don't know why ppl got so upset to see spino kill the rex. It was a great battle and it was just time for someone else to come in and take over. I am DREADING however that JP IV is going to bring water dinos into the series. The flying dinos were bad enough but those are things that we cannot really see today. ANYBODY could go somewhere today and see things like sharks and stuff that were somewhat similar to water dinosaurs. They just aren't that exciting to me. There's nothing today that is a 20 ft. bipedal creature that weighs ten tons and could eat basically a man whole. Those are the beasts I wanna see!!!!!

I personally do not care much for the idea of marine dinosaurs, and I agree with Spino186, nothing today is a 20 foot tall bipedal 10 ton carnivore, and everyone wants to see those. They should have left the case for JP3 the original just because Spino had it's time in the spotlight. What if in JP4, it is on both islands, Spino on Sorna, and Rex on Nublar, and they meet at the end via land bridge or islands merging, and the case could have the Rex on one side, and Spino on the other side facing Rex (skeletons of course).

how about we put this into perspective shall we? the film is returning to isla nublar does anyone remember seeing a spino on the tour???? i didn't think so and its impossible that they were still just hatchlings because that was site B's job was its also impossible spino could swim over there *spino was a fisher but thats 80 miles in between the islands* thus spino is most likely not going to make an appearance again

T rex rex should should be the main dinosaur I think they should redo the spinosaurus vs t rex battle in jurassic park 4 and have t rex break spinosaurus neck
