operation genesis is the best jurassic park game ever the only down side is that the game is like 67 dollars at game force im glad i got it from my cousin for free.

the original movie it is the movie that made me a jurassic park fan and it is my favorite film of all time. the other two are amazing and are in my top 3 favorite films but they dont got the same charm as the first movie.

Nice picture, if it was anything besides Jurassic Park, I'd expect there to be blood everywhere. Documentaries say T-Rex was heavily built, I know I heard T-Rex was more heavily built, and T-Rex is 7 tons, Spino is 8-10 tons, and 15-20 feet longer, and 5-10 feet taller, so Spino is still 1-3 tons heavier, and it has the extra height and length. T-Rex's bones were denser than Spino's. Have'nt there only been two partial skeletons discovered? The one that got bombed sucks because scientists could have used them to see about how old it was when it died. I think Spino's size is more based on it's arm size compared to the arm size of Baryonyx (maybe outdated S-Rex).

most of the films about dinos by national geographic or are affiliated with them mainly come out really awesome i remember a year ago or so there was this one film/documentary and there was 3 dinos and the film followed the life of them until there deaths or something never quite got to the end of it... quite a shame actually, but there was 3 dinos there was patches the velociraptor *he had feathers in his early years* uh i think a t rex or something* and a sub species of trike i really like the documentaries like that :D

spinosaurus rex you been to any museums lately its not the 40's anymore many spinosaurus have been unearthed, yes we dont know what they looked like but we have skeleton and muscle reconstruction software that calculates how much skin and muscles they had, i know quite a lot of the field of palaeontology and what they do okay so before you say something think for a minute will ya? also none of this data is false for god sakes i have stated it about 100 times already just accept the facts and move on. also in evolutionary terms rex was indeed more superior with 25,000 million years in between them rex had enough time to develop the fierceness that put spino into extinction, rex was more evolutionary fit for combat its survival of the fittest, spino went extinct before t rex meaning it was not suit to adapt and survive it died out, HOWEVER rex was killed of by the Cretaceous extinction what ever it was it killed out the possible millions of years that rex could've kept thriving... these facts are true no matter if you deny to accept them, the truth is there you just cant bear to here the news that spino would've lost no matter what.... just accept it for crying out loud dragging it out more isn't going to do anything

Yeah, ONLY 43 feet. Spino likely did get to 54-60 feet in length. It was longer than T-Rex by about 10-20 feet. But T-Rex could probably still win because it had a much higher bite force (shut up S-Rex, I know), and it was more heavily built. Spino was huge, but it would be harder for Spino to knock T-Rex off balance, and if it fell on its back, it would be screwed. If you want outdated info, both were slow stupid lumbering beasts that dragged their tails on the ground.

the average size was probably even 60 or more in length considering that was the size of the only spinosaurus found, it could be a coincidence, but it is VERY unlikly

It WAS a young spino, the one in the movie was only 43 feet in length, but average adults grow to 54 or bigger, so both the trex and the spino was young

Does anyone else remember the scene in TLW when someone looked out the window of the bus and it showed into the forest? I didn't see anything in the trees, so I assumed it would be a T-Rex, but the Rexs were brown in the movie, so maybe that was a young Spino, but I don't know.

well id imagine ingen wouldn't breed to many because they were just tag and release plus know one wants to be eating a sandwich in the communications facility and have a big mad t rex come through the wall, with an assumed brood of like maybe 5 per genetic recreation only a 2 would've reach full adult hood and the others probably would've been picked off by predators on the island id assume they would've had about maybe 2-3 batches of rex's the first batch probably would've died before the accident the second batch would be close to adult hood one would've died during the accident and i imagine that the last of b.2 would've died eventually while b.3 attained adult hood... because they wouldn't make a new batch until the rex's were about maybe 1-3 years old i dunno dont want to do the math so we'll stick with that

It was a buck in JP3. Maybe it was from the other pack and just grew up and left. The baby's older brother, haha. But seriously, who says there was only one pack? Maybe that's all you saw. For one thing, TLW took place in the northern part of Sorna, conifer forests, and 3 was in the south, tropical forest.

yes the sizes are indeed exaggerated just a bit but this is form the biggest specimens found, but if the buck juvenile we see in JP /// isn't the baby how does that work because there was only one pack of rexs on the island so that means that the rex we see in jp 3 may be the same in TLW *i dont actually know if the one in jp3 was a buck or not im just assuming though*

For one thing the baby was brown and the buck was green. Either way, it was said on the Jurassic Park Wiki that it was a female in TLW. I was going by the growth rates of real dinosaurs. Good point though with the frog DNA. The max hip height for Tyrannosaurus was about 16 feet with a full height of 23 feet or so. Spinosaurus was about 18 feet tall at the hip and 25 feet tall at the head, 27 at the top of the sail.

i love jp origins (ever since i first saw a jeep prop from it over a year ago) since then i havent kept in touch with its progress, i assume it will be very good seeing how long its taking... one downside is its like americas fighting dinosaur IT HAS GREAT concept and everything but its a short film... i really want a prequel BUT WHAT WOULD EB BETTER is if they made jp origins into a tv show (since y'know terra novas cancelled) and made multiple seasons of it that would be VERY awesome i expect more progress updates soon ALI3N

i think they're keeping it more confidential for a reason like they want it to be better and more exciting when you go to see it

@spinosurus rex you sure pal seems finished to me @rexfan684 i dont remember them ever saying that it was female and on jurassic park the dinosaurs matured more rapidly due to the frog dna @jhawkins1987 strange because i used wikipedia for the sizes of some also these sizes may be a bit exaggerated just a bit but considering the hip size was about 19 feet these arent highly exaggerated also for many i rounded up to the nearest 10

Actually the baby rex from TLW was a female. Also, Tyrannosaurus did not reach adult size until they were 18 years old. They stayed small until they were about 9 or 10, then they bulked up at 1,000-2,000 pounds a year until the age of 18 or 19. They never stopped growing, but slowed down a lot after 20. They had 30 year lifespans.

@Bombillazo: I know/understand what they said about the coolant, but it's a movie, and they're not the most consistent. Also, Spielburg himself has said that his original idea for JP2 was to be centered around retrieving the Barbasol can. The only reason he did not do it, was because this was the first "true" sequel he's ever done for a movie, and he was scared/nervous. Since he was so nervous about doing a true sequel, he decided to base it off of Chrichton's other book for safety. In other words, the possibility is actually there, especially since the 3rd film does not fit in with the story.

I'm glad Trevorrow and Marshal are being open about the proceedings and film progress, but I wish there could be more transparency! It's been almost a week since Universal made those announcements and now we're all left hanging. I'm confident in the crew and I trust Trevorrow still has the ball rolling, but I'm a little concerned about Universal's end of the deal. I'm sure a longer and more explanatory statement from Universal would provide more stability in the fan world.

i wanted to see it on it's friday release but i had no money but it's no big deali have the ultimate bluray collection, a ps3 with hd cords, surround sound, and a 36 inch flat screen to watch it on.

i would have to say jurassic park operation genesis for the ps2 and pc versions. you can do anything you want with your park and when you get sight b you dont have to spend any money. andwhen you use the money cheat that game is even better. best pc game ever.

Aloha from Kauaii~ how about the grandkids growing up to be paleo-scientists? asked to revisit the quarantined islands and build up from there? attempting to research the progress of the last 20yrs while others attempt to re-contain the dinosaurs with drastic results while sightings are comeing in all over the central and south american land masses? proccedeing from there to bounce back and forth from past to present as well?..developeing our conflict to save and protect and/or destroy these miraculous creatures who are beginning to multiply! go for "miracles and discovery" over tragedy and disaster..aloha

it seems cool but jurassic park is not an apocalypes type movie. that kind of stuff is for zombie movies. i guess it could be intresting but not for a jurassic park film.

i dont think they will have to push back they're release date because they have been working on the film for years and if they do i can wait i already have another movie im looking forward to this year.

my favorite dinosaur has always been spinosaurus ever since i was a kid and went through a dinosaur faze. my favorite prehistoric sea animal would be liopleridon, ithcyasaurs. favorite flying reptile quetzlequatlis or however you spell it, and megalania would beat the other guy.

how about we put this into perspective shall we? the film is returning to isla nublar does anyone remember seeing a spino on the tour???? i didn't think so and its impossible that they were still just hatchlings because that was site B's job was its also impossible spino could swim over there *spino was a fisher but thats 80 miles in between the islands* thus spino is most likely not going to make an appearance again
