Male Names- Brimstone, Claws, and/or Smokey
Female Names- Ava, Hickari, and/or Shiner
I know you meant Carnotaurus, but you labeled the fight Majungasaurus vs Carnosaurus. No such animal. Be sure to get the right names when you give the fight a title.
Quote: XD you don't have to download anything buddy.
--Well then why can I not read it?
Quote: The authors compared the Spinosaur jaw to gharials...which are mainly fish eaters. Their rostrum isn't robust at all. So the analogy there...is just not good. The Slender snouted crocodile is a poor one too.
---Because slender-snouted crocodilians are the best modern analogies for spinosaurus... Especially species like the false gharial and freshwater crocodile. Oh wait, but they also compared it and baryonyx to the American alligator too. So... yea...
Quote: The paper...it stated that Spinosaur resistance to stress or whatever is greater then all crocodilian species.....NO REALLY?!
-Uh, that is incorrect both scientifically and in terms of what the paper said. Can you tell me where exactly it claimed that?
Quote: the paper is a poor source. sorry buddy.
---I hope you realize that the paper that you posted about a week ago was written by one of the authors of the paper that I posted (Rayfield). You know that, right?
A good inside-look into how Thorn/Rexy lived her life and how there could be a strong bond between a human and a dinosaur.
Rexy seems a lot more complex than simply a blood-thirsty territorial killer. She is truly a curious tyrannosaur who is simply going about her own business. It is refreshing to read about a dinosaur liker her.
I've got a few ideas for the hatchlings.
Male hatchlings: Thor, Talon, Surtr, and Flame.
Female hatchlings: Fleur, Wendy, Ruth, and Nefretiri.
Good start. I'm bad with names, let's say Amber for one of them.
The original Jurassic Park, then TLW, and then I'm not sure (haven't seen a Dino movie in a while).
Carnosaur is right, Look at some of the other fights. Say FBR, PFG, Um Mr.Happys fights, Rexfans, Come to thing of it, Many of the Dinosaur fight writers are FBR members... Hmm
well... I could be wrong here... But I think its jurassic park
actually, just the land. pterasaurs were in the sky and various marine reptiles inhabited the oceons.
My favorite dinosaur movie would be either Disney's Dinosaur or the Jurassic Park trilogy, mostly Jurassic Park.
Oh how I love dinosaur fights. Great job.
Carnosaur might have a challange with you after you get a hang of it.
Im going with Trex do to its strength and bite force even with those tiny arms he was a dino to be feared of.
oh good, you posted it here :) like i said earlier,it's a start. Refer to Mr.Happy's, RexFans' or my fights if you need any help!
I cant wait to read the next one.
So this is the reason why Thorn/Rexy and Lady Margaret don't get along very well.I wonder if we will see some more old rivals of Rexy ;)
Good chapter, sorry i couldn't read it earlier
I think i'm gonna go with Utahraptor.
Sinornithosaurus (:D) or Rahonavis (basically a flying a raptor)
I don't think this has been an issue for loong time.
Note for future.
DONT SCREW AROUND WITH THE FONT...
It might look good, but seriously... Dont play with it...
Other then that, good job...
XD you don't have to download anything buddy.
I have a few problems with your paper. for one, it used jaw FRAGMENTS. not the whole jaw, or even the head. again, all of this is speculative at best.
The authors compared the Spinosaur jaw to gharials...which are mainly fish eaters. Their rostrum isn\'t robust at all. So the analogy there...is just not good. The Slender snouted crocodile is a poor one too.
The paper...it stated that Spinosaur resistance to stress or whatever is greater then all crocodilian species.....NO REALLY?! when it states that, it negates it earlier in the paper saying SPINOSAURUS had less resistance than a modern day ghraial...Who woulda thought that something as much as 10x a crocodiles size would have a greater...well anything? the paper is a poor source. sorry buddy.
I know. I said it depends if he was talking about Dromeaosaurs or other creatures with raptoor in the name like Microraptor, Oviraptor, Gigantoraptor, or Megaraptor. I'm not sure if Microraptor was a Dromeaosaur or not.
Not bad but try making the words bigger and tell about what each of them and why the Majungaurus was not with a mate. All in all it was a great fight.
Good fight. Paragraphs and punctuation help.

Notice how the only place where they could efficiently test the respective spinosaur rostra was the premaxilla of both species; specifically where it would have a relatively high breaking point in spinosaurus?
Quote: in fact, you have completely ignored my sources for my claims...stuff that has been actually acknowledged by paleontologists. but you conveniently didn't read it. yes?
---Edit, I did in fact read it (earlier I couldn't). The problem is that it talks solely about vertical stress, nothing more. It is not inaccurate, just that it has nothing to do with what I am saying. Did I not already acknowledge that carcharodontosaurus' snout was designed for killing and was thus much stronger than spinosaurus' snout vertically? I firmly agree with that source, and it says nothing that contradicts what I am saying.
Guys... Just FYI, we still have a few complete fossil snouts to work with, which just proves that you guys are full of shit even more
Healed bite marks, a lack of other large theropods, smarts, binocular vision, crushing jaws, and many other things contribute to the theory that T-rex was indeed primarily a hunter.
Airman Allo, you mentioned how nobody ever questions the likely hood that other tyrannosaurs hunted. Not only that, but everyone assumes that most abelisaurs were hunters despite tiny arms. Carnotaurus, Majungatholus(saurus), Tarascosaurus, and others are always shown as hunters.
Deinonychus for me.

PS- Sinraptor is not an actual raptor, but rather an allosaur/carcharodontosaur/megaraptor.
Cant wait for it.
thanks guys. I'm excited to post that one tomorrow :)
Good fight. I was rooting for Tarascosaurus, but good fight. I'm rooting for Utahraptor.
Great fight im going with Cryolophosaurus
you will be happy to know Suchomimus moves on to the finale :)
That would be cool to see.
Definately Utahraptor, but if you mean having raptor in the name I'd have to go either Microraptor or Sinraptor. But I still like the Jurassic Park Raptors.
Yes, and Suchomimus wins again. Great fight once again.
