After several months, Muldoon had taught Thorn basic commands such as stay, lie down, and attack. Thorn enjoyed having someone around, and she enjoyed learning new things. Muldoon had found a way to strap his SPAS 12 to her back, next to where he rode around on her, and it was always there when they weren't hunting.
They were walking towards the dock because Muldoon wanted to see if there were any supplies that could be scavenged. Before they got there, Thorn had seen a Jeep and went to check it out. "Alright, down." Thorn leaned down, and Muldoon climbed off to look at the Jeep. When he opened the door, he saw a body. "Haha, so there is a god, I thought the fat bastard escaped with the rest of the work force. Lazy asses, couldn't even be here for one of the most important days of the park's existence. Almost got me killed, and now my only companion is the T-Rex."
After looking at the Jeep, they got to the docks and didn't see anything. They continued looking around, and Thorn was drawn to some brightly coloured shipping containers. "I wonder if there's anything in them. How could we check?" Thorn heard Muldoon talking to himself, and wondered what it was about. "Alright, down, I have an idea." Thorn let Muldoon down and he pointed to one of the shipping containers. "Attack!" Thorn attacked the container and ripped it open. "Stop!" Muldoon climbed up and looked inside. "Damn, nothing." He pointed at another one, "Attack!" Thorn tore that one open, and same thing happened, nothing. He pointed at the next, gave the command, and then said, "Same?" Thorn didn't understand, and Muldoon pointed at the two previous containers. "Same. Is that one like those two?" Thorn looked at it, and then the other two, and got an idea on what "same" meant. She nodded yes, they were the same. This process continued until the last one was destroyed. They didn't find anything, but Thorn learned something new.
