Technically my site says up to 15 meters and 14 tons. Those couple of feet would make s difference(plus what UCMP pointed out). My question is why is a 10-14 ton T.rex out of the question, yet a Spinosaurus of similar weight not?
dilopopesaurus that attaks with a cross and a rap-tor on a shark with a bazooka yhis is so funny
(ps i have noticed that you post very fun things)
Doesn't look good for Albertosaurus, but I will be rooting for it anyway.
The "Demon" carnotarus toy had longer arms and claws if I am not mistaken and it is possible that thoughs marks are horn scraping marks, though I doubt that they are. Still regardless of what she is, a Carno or something else all together, the D-rex will be remembered either famously or imfamously depending on how they pull it off. We just have to wait and see what she turns out to be.
Interesting fight, king of the south beating the northern tyrant was a facinating match.
thanks guys
Next up is Albertosaurus vs Yangchuanosaurus :)
Good fight, can't wait to see more soon.
Thanks evan! i appreciate that
I doubt that it's a Carnotaurus, but everything else makes oerfect sense.
I was also rooting for Yutyrannus, never-the-less it was still a great fight.
Great fight. Unless I'm mistaken, Deltadromeus is the older name, meaning that Baharisaurus is the senior synonym, but I'm not sure.
Great chapter. I'm looking forward to the next one.
We all have our own opinions. I personally think that they averaged at 7-9 tons in weight and were about 40 feet long on average. 5 tons seems very low to me. This is the picture of an African Elephant, they are known to weigh between 3-6 tons. This specimen would weigh about 5-6 tons.

And this is a comparison between a human and a Tyrannosaurus:

And the picture that you showed is actually quite reasonable, what's even more is that the neck muscles were too small in that picture. As you can see with the African Elephant, there is a lot of muscle where there is no indication for muscle judging from the skeleton. On a T.rex that part wouldn't be as large, but still a good bit. Don't forget that a layer of muscle, which would be about as thick as twice the span of a human hand, would surround the rib cage and that would lead all the way to about half of the tail. It would surround the his entirely and not just abruptly drop down to the base of the tail, but continue further. All in all, I'd say that the Tyrannosaurus in this picture would weigh about 8-9 tons.
Ya, I suppose you could very well be right! Good thinking! Oh by the way, I just read a lot of your fights and they are very good!
no, i see what you are saying...But who knows? i mean this thing has various DNA spliced in with its own, making it potentially larger then the run of the mill Carnotaurus. Maybe it even has useable arms now with the Raptor DNA...Just my thoughts, i thinkt it's improbably, but that's just what i think
Sorry if I sound mean but nothing we have already points in that direction it point the other way, just look up at what I posted before, carnotaurus could never have possibly made those marks! I probably sound sooooo mean right now but sorry, I'm just tired. I honestly do not think it will be carnotaurus.
i always figured it would be Carnotaurus, but who knows? it seems all we have at the moment is pointing in that direction, but we won't know until the release date draws nearer
That sure is a lot of stuff. Looking forward to it.
I was rooting for Suchomimus, but it was still a great fight. Looking forward to the next one and I'm gonna go with Yutyrannus.
i hope its not a wierd looking dinosaur but i also hope its not a carnoaurus because there preety small
sorry, double post! But yes, looking back the claw marks are too large and high up for a carnotaurus to have made them, I can't find the pic right now but when I do I'll leave a link for it but I'm sure if you just looked up the diabolus Rex the paddock would show up!
I'm not disappointed at all! This creature could be incredibly cool! I do think however, that it will not be carnotaurus. I just really don't think so, I mean it's new as Collin said and further, almost concrete evidence that it will not be is that in the leaked photos of the Diabolus Rex paddock, there are clearly large claw marks present along the walls of the enclosure and carnotaurus would certainly not of been capable of doing them. Good thinking though, keep it up!
Good fight, though I was rooting for Yutyrannus.
good job with this, as usual your writing doesn't dissapoint. Looking forward to the next
Deltadromeus is thought to be a junior synonym of Bahariasaurus now i believe
The delta estimate is actually based on bahariasaurus and the Sauro is well my calculations
Great fight, though I thought the sizes were a bit over the top.
Delta: 2-2.5 tons, 30 ft. long
Sauro: 3-4.5 tons, 40 ft. long
Just my thoughts.
I personnally with agree A-Rex that T-rex isn't over 45 ft. long, 17 ft. tall, and 8.7 tons. Those are my max's on rex, it was deffinately massive, but not even close to 10 tons, in my opion. Sorry Rex Fan, but a 45 ft., 14 ton (weight taken from your site) would be an obese, fat, animal that would have to turn to svenging because of its lack of speed.

That's a 14 ton t-rex. Real killing machine, huh?
I was go'n for sucho, but great fight none the less. I'm rooting for Y-tyrannus. WOOT! WOOT!
By the way Raptorxxx, looking forward to the fights.
ACRO REX - This is very compelling information! However, we must all consider the fact that, no matter what, it's likely we'll never truly have a solid grasp on the sizes and weights of long-extinct animals such as T-Rex. Scratching around in the rock and dust can only yield so much information. For all we know, Sue could have been an underszied or oversized specimen - we just don't have enough information to make pinpoint accurate measurements. Regardless, thank you very much for sharing this with us! :)
refreshing to read another dino fight writers work! thoroughly enjoyed this one....great job
MR.HAPPY9097 - That was an exceptionally detailed chapter! I greatly enjoyed the firearms display you produced - weapons are always fun! The poor T-Rex! I hope she doesn't eat anything that upsets her tummy too greatly! Thank you ever so much for presenting this to us! :)
X_PADEN_X - This sounds exceptionally fun! I can't wait to read what everyone has written! :)
well... you kind of underestimate giga. i would put it at around 8 tons while Carchar at 9-9.7 tons max
you do have a point but why is it when we find fragmentary remains for animals such as giganotosaurus and carcharodontosaurus we instantly estimate the maximum size. I put the average tyrannosaurus at around 12.1-12.8 m and the maximum at around 13-13.45 m based on my research :) but everyone has there own opinion
