Thanks SOMETHING REAL!
Not sure what the level up system is?
Never thought of that bug. Nice change to it.
It would be fantastic if the new dinosaur was something like an Acrocanthosaurus or an Allosaurus that was genetically modified to have something like a larger skull along with longer arms and extreme aggression and maybe even the ability to swim. I'm sure this would make the dinosaur more 'entertaining' to the visitors.
Yeah. Storm watched it fish for a while once and then left. When Scarface was chasing Storm, Storm dove into the lake and swam away with Scarface closely following. The Deinosuchus zeroed in on Scarface and attacked, allowing Storm to get away. The Deinosuchus really gave Scarface a good beating, but not even a Deinosuchus could kill Scarface, even in water(the Deinosuchus did make it though).
I'm pretty sure that it attacked Scarface and made it possible for Storm to escape, right?
All good things must come to an end UCMP. I appreciate your comment. Not sure if you guys remembered this, but that Deinosuchus was in the first story too ;)
I totally forgot about Titanovenator, wow. Well I guess that makes him the winner. I love both T.rex pics, especially the first one, it's hilarious.
Great chapter. I'm sad that it's going to end so soon, but I'm also looking forward to knowing how and why Synca ended up in that fight.
Nice pics.
I re-read the Tarbosaurus description and just realized what it said about its chest. Nice ;)
Well, plus the epilogue. I have so many things lined up right now it's not even funny, haha.
Good list, I agree on next to everything.
Good chapter as usual. Looking forward to the next.
I chose Rex since he saved Tarbo and the Game Warden, and had the only two fatalities (Titano and Velociraptor). Thanks.
Amazing fight, very well done, definitely one of your best pieces, but I don't think that there was really a clear winner, it feels more like a tie, since they all did very good and none were extremely injured (except for the Tarbosaurus). Anyway, I really liked the setting, how it all happened in the park and I'm glad that none died, except for the Velociraptor, but it didn't really matter.
Spinosaurs

Sail backed, long snouted, and long armed(strange to most other large theropods), these guys are a bit strange in some ways.
Hadrosaurs

With their duck bills, crazy crests, and thousands of teeth, hadrosaurs were not exactly "everyday animals."
Stegosaurs, ankylosaurs, ceratosaurs, and other groups probably belong up there too, but at that point we'd be including every dinosaur group known to man.
Ok. Can't wait to see what pics you use.
I'm not done editing yet, school computers are a bitch when none of them are worth more than $50 and they are 2004 at the newest.
Man, none of your pics worked. I'll go in and add them if you want(or you could do it, doesn't matter to me). Good fight though :)
The rules and stuff have been stated up in the main topic.
Umm, yes great thinking but a hybrid is highly unlikely! A genitically enhanced species however, is very possible indeed! Maybe an enhanced species of allosaurus that is say.....larger, faster, far more intelligent, is venomous etc. etc.
Thinking back to JP3:
Billy: I don't remember seeing [Spinosaurus] on their list
Grant: That's because it wasn't. Makes me wonder what else [Ingen] was up to
That small exchange is a big enough hint to suggest that Dr. Wu really could have been toying around with genetics. Just imagine if someone gave him a blank check sometime in the last 22 years to work with for the new park. He must have been given some kind of scientific liberty.
Now imagine a Troodon/Utahraptor hybrd.
I have a question, I never been in a war in a forum, so how is the gameplay?
Mr. Happy, I must say, you are good at "convincing" people to join the rebellion.
I align with a lot of these possibilities.
I would not put it past the people dumb enough to re-create the failed Jurassic Park to also genetically enhance the dinosaurs to create whatever theme park monsters they wish.
Especially with Henry Wu (presumably) back at the helm. He was a mad scientist who constantly wanted to play god in more extreme ways, not seeing any reason to accept whatever grew out of the the first batch of eggs as "good enough dinosaurs". The novel really expanded on his character in this way, but the subtleties in TLW and JP3 movies confirmed that (movie)Wu and Ingen were following the same dark path as outlined in the novels.
Imagine if they are stupid enough to breed a Utahraptor...and Speilbergize it a bit....making it near Spinosaurus size.
A 'hybrid' would be a little too sci-fi, and may insult the fans a bit. But an "intentionally enhanced" version of a common dinosaur strikes me as almost definite.
Looks a lot more like IRCU. No idea what it could stand for, but I believe thats what it is.
Ingen Reptile Containment Unit?
We've heard nothing about "Ingen" at all. Most seem to assume that Ingen is out of the picture. But that could go either way.
You see that guy? And that truck?
When you go back and watch the original Jurassic Park....you have to wonder. WHERE WAS THAT GUY WHEN THEY NEEDED HIM?!
Lol all they've got is Muldoon, badass as he may have been, with his puny shotguns.
I know the novel expands on the lack of weapons or mercenary-type personel a lot, but they don't elaborate on that massive oversight in the movie, so it makes even less sense.
"Ok, ok, but JUST IN CASE they get out....what do we do?"
***Crickets***
I have lost faith now...
...in every single 14 year old poster that has no idea how movies are made.
If you never saw this shot and just saw the finished product, you'd be wowed. None of you have even the slightest clue what you're talking about, so reel it in for crying out loud.
Only the original Jurassic Park managed to pull off a realistic mix of animatronic and CGI dinosaurs. The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3 had horribly inconsistent uses of the two. The animatronic raptors looked terrible, more or less puppets with minimal movement. Then they would switch to a CGI shot that barely looked like the same animal, and now moved so fluidly that it was not believable. Same can be said of the Spinosaurus, and just about every JP 3 dinosaur. HUGE disconnect between the animatronics and CGI.
I would honestly prefer they not use animatronics anymore, or at least be very stingy with it and control the shots (as Speilberg did) to ensure that it all looked like the same animal.
Please take for example, the Tyrannosaur attack on the Explorers in Jurassic Park. That scene, while benefiting from darkness and driving rain, so elegantly mixed a robotic T-rex and CGi T-rex that the casual viewer would never know the difference from one shot to the next.
I'm a bounty hunter and I've a got a dino with me. The weapons I've got are: MP40, AK47, M60 Light Machine Gun, FN Fal, Dragonuv, M1911 Colt pistol, Tommy gun, MP5, G65C, a Scorpion, a Kar-98k and a Kentucky rifle. The dinosaur I've got with me is this:
Acrocanthosaurus, baby!
Congradualtions Elite Raptor 007
You'll be reporting to me with the DAF Forces. When I'm not around, The duty of commanding officer falls to Rexfan, And Raptor-401...
If you PM Me, We can issue you your rank, And army.
nice, rooting for Tyrannotitan.
