Nice, I too was rooting for Albertosaurus.
I tend to be a bit hesitant when I give an estimate for Amphicoelias. I'm a bit conservative. I estimate it to be about 160-200 ft long and about 90-130 tons in weight. Longer than a blue whale, but lighter than the heaviest one on record.
As far as JPOG Mods go, I don't know how to mod it(I have it for PS2), but here are some cool ones I found...

Man, there are just so many cool mods!
Glad you all liked it so much. This one was really fun for me to make. Really brought back some memories.
UCMP, When Dinosaurs Roamed America is worth it ;)
Raptorexxx, I thought about Last Day of the Dinosaurs, but since it was almost the same thing as Clash of the Dinosaurs(same animation and crew), I chose not too, but it was cool too.
Interesting Colourization, The Ridges above its eyes look too drastic...
I've seen this sorta thing done before, I think this is more Marketing, then a replica of the actual one from the moive.
cool
looks like the original t-rex
Nice figh. I was rooting for Albertosaurus.
PMEP, DJE and Charming Cretaceous are imo the best mods for JPOG out there. I can only recommend them. As for Amphicoelias, I usually estimate it at around 60-70m in length and between 150 and 200 metric tons.
The only one I haven't seen is Number 1. So I better go and watch it right now.
Amphocelias is awesome and is probably around 62-63.4 m
The Best jpog mods are PMEP DJE and Charming Cretaceous
Nice. Looks similar to the TLW female Rex.
Good fight, I was rooting for Albertosaurus. Perhaps a bit *puts on sunglasses* brutal to kill them off when they were, you know, starting a nest, but good job nontheless, looking forward to the next.
i have seen every single one of these and my favorites are wwd, planet dinosaur, and an unmentioned and very underestimated documentary: The last Day Of the dinosaurs.
T-REX WHITE - Wow! I'd never even heard of this animal until I read this post! That is a fantastic and immense sauropod! I got butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it! :)
REX FAN 684 - I've seen each of the entries upon your list! I agree that the T-Rex design in Valley of the T-Rex was quite neat. However, I absolutely loathed the light in which the documentary cast T-Rex. A giant, red-faced, kill-stealing buzzard?! Hmph! I greatly enjoyed Walking with Dinosaurs, though I teared-up awfully when the momma T-Rex and her little babies were killed by the asteroid impact. :(
Regardless, this was a very fun list! Thank you ever so much for sharing this with us! :)
Good listing and I liked them all for individual reasons.
Allotitan- This is a good article and thank you for sharing it. This definatly makes sence, though this appears to focus on adults an not younger individuals. Still this fits pretty well for the adults.
Rex Fan 684- You bring up a good point with the hadrosaurs which raises a few possibilities. With this new info it is difficult to imagine a rex keeping pace with the hadrosaurs unless it ambushed them and caught them of guard, or my favorite theroy, the juveniles chasing prey into the adults open jaws like lions do today.
Still with the new discoveries in paleontology coming in every day who knows what the future will reveal for T. rex top speed. We will just have to wait and thats all part of the fun.
Great fight, and I was rooting for Afrovenator even before the bios and back stories. That just made it all the better. Hope to see more like this to come and great job.
Also love the characters and designs!
Dragonfly, Dragonfly's Dad, Pod, Whitetip, Das, Alpha, Brokenhand, Bluebrow, the Tarascosaur (no name), Brokenjaw, the Torvosaurus (no name), Al, Stumpy, Tinkerbelle, Junior, Jack, and most of all... the When Dinosaurs Roamed America Ceratosaurus...R.I.P, Dam Allosaurus...
Nice list!
I have seen all except number 7, also got most on DVD + loads more...
Cool list, I agree with number one, A true childhood memory...i'm 12, turning 13 at the end of the month, so yeah chilldhood memory. That's also what got me to love Ceratosaurus!
Also love Dinosaur Planet and Dinosaur Revolution, i sought of like the 'focus on 1 dino thing'...
My list
10. Walking With Beasts (i know it's not dinosaurs, but whatever)
9. Chased By Dinosaurs
8. Truth About Killer Dino's
7. Ballad of Big Al
6. Planet Dinosaur
5. Walking With Dinosaurs
4. Dinosaur Revolution
3. Jurassic Fight Club
2. Dinosaur Planet
1. When Dinosaurs Roamed America
lol
JPOG
I remember this pack that has a somewhat almost perfect eustreptospondylus, a skinned dilophosaurus which has his frill and crest removed, and attack their prey by biting them (using the venom spit animation), it also has it's own digsite, oxford clay iirc
got it from modding genesis
I forgot the pack name though, but it probably no longer accessible now since no one mod JPOG anymore
as for amphicoelias size estimation, from what I read in wiki and other sites
it is a large and long and slender sauropod, so blue whale is heavier, according to them
Here's a picture of the size estimation

ok, then i'm lost. What argument are you trying to make?
In his paper Carpenter* says he simply scaled up Diplodocus c.'s vertebra to 2.7 meters. The only problem is that he used the dimensions from Seismosaurus for diplodocus's vert, but said the length of Diplodocus was only 26.25 meters. This small mistake of recording diplodocus's vert as 1.22 meters instead of .946 meters has lead to the widespread belief that Amphicoelias was 60 meters long and 120 tons in weight. In reality using carpenter's method with the correct numbers we get, 2.7/.946=2.864. 2.854x26.25 meters=75 meters long. Also 2.856^3=23.2. 23.2x12 tons=278 tons.
A quote from Zach Armstrong on the subject. (note, he uses a 11.5 ton Diplodocus)
I’m not sure where Carpenter got his mass and length estimates–since he says he basically says he just scaled it up isometrically. A 2.7 meter tall vertebra is 2.79 (270 cm/96.6 cm=2.79)times as tall as the D10 in D. carnegii which means a length of 69.75 meters if D. carnegii was 25 meters long or 73.23 meters if it was 26.25 meters like Carpenter assumes. A resulting mass estimate should then be 247.38 tonnes (2.79^3=21.7; 21.7*11.4 tonnes=247.38 tonnes)!
And this is assuming it was the 10th dorsal! What if it was the 9th? Scaling the vertebrae, we get 270/94.6=2.85; 2.85^3=23.14; 23.14*11.4
tonnes=263.79 tonnes!
Adding intravetebral cartilage, which accounts for ~10% of the body lengths of most birds and reptiles, increases the dimensions even more.
These estimates are backed by scientific methods, and are the best way we have of guessing Amphicoelias's dimensions.
This thing was massive...here it is in scale with D. Carnegii and Torvosaurus

*Measurement for Diplodocus's vert is from: Osborn, H.F., and Mook, C. C. (1921). "Camarasaurus, Amphicoelias and other sauropods of Cope."
Good fight, outcome was expected.
Modding for JPOG Has gone down. Most Don't include new Species as it is a pain to Program and Code such a thing. However, I've got a friend who is a coder, And there is most Definately one Mod like that.
However, As great at JPOG Is, and Always will be, A fan made Game Inspired by JPOG Is in Production, Known as: Prehistoric Kingdom. Our Very Own DinoSteve On the Forums is part of the team.
I suggest you check out their Game. It's not out, but Tech Demo is only Weeks away.

The "Velociraptors" were about 5-6 ft tall and 9-13 ft long in JP. Deinonychus is anywhere between 5-6 ft tall and 9-13 ft long too. So, I'd say they're pretty close to Deinonychus, although they're certainly border line.
Oh, and check out the second article here...

Oh, I found this pic of T.rex muscle mass. Thought you guys might fiind it interesting....

Those are some large leg muscles.
Thanks MrHappy.
T-Rex White, my first profile pic was of the Valley of the T.rex(I like your new one by the way).
You bring up interesting points Spinosuchus. You see, the biggest reason (that I see) that we stick up for Spino some is for the specific purpose of avoiding problems caused by one or two individuals on these forums, though neither have been on for over a month. I will say, I agree with a chunk of what you say, just don't go saying that we have radical opinions (50 foot Rex, for example).
"Nor has any predator fed on one particular prey species its entire life span. Oppurtunistic feeding is indeed a key component in predators. Even an animal specialized in feeding on fish - like the sea eagles - will take birds, sea snakes, mammals, etc."
-I realize this.
"You cannot claim that Spinosaurus didn't partake in this, unless you have evidence to the contrary. I would say it is a necessity, as what would an animal as large as spinosaurus do if the rivers it was so adapted to dry up? the population would starve; the species would vanish into extinction rather quickly. There is little doubt it fed on other animals. you saying otherwise is pointless speculation!"
-Except I never claimed that... During a drought it woud nonetheless be a moment where opportunist feeding is likely for spinosaurus; I do not deny this. But the claim that it hunted dinosaurs for the most part is baseless, because we have evidence of the contrary
"I'd like to add that of course Tyrannosaurids had a different killing technique then the other theropod families! it's dentition was meant for crushing bone a far distance from the slicing, gripping, tearing teeth of other theropod families."
-I get this. This is one of my primary points in these arguments
I agree
valley of the T-rex has one of the coolest design
Silver Falcoln, BUT I SHALL LIVE!!!
But raptor, horcruxes are so much messier than clones!
I'd say 15-25 mph for Rex, I concur with Rex Fan. I not trying to start a spino vs rex thing here, but I'd put spino's speed at 25-34 mph.
What about Acrocanthosaurus vs Titanovenator? That'd be a good fight.
Nice fight. I don't think there would be to on T-rex vs Godzilla though, it would all be over with the flick of a toe.
I can't see the resemblance between spino and sarco's heads. The velociraptors in JP are more of the size of utahraptor. I think Ptranodon could've carried prey in its claws, maybe not all that large though.
