I think they should just a re-imagination of the first movie. I don't see how they could possibly keep it within context of the original 3 movies and make a fourth one without looking stupid or cliche.

I would like a vehicle that would blend in if a dino showed. Well T-Rex is T-Rex :P If you're making a movie about dinosaurs then the lead spot really belongs to the T-Rex which is what happened with the first two movies. There's no image of dinosaurs in the mind of hte public that does not include a T-Rex, so he became the symbol of the franchise. By the third movie the filmmakers just wanted something different, and Spinosaurus is as alien looking as you can get really. The problem with bringing in any other large therapod is that none of them are really gonna look that much different than a T-Rex on screen. And the question filmmakers will be asking themselves is, "Why bother introducing this new dinosaur for an audience to root for that looks very similar to the dinosaur they already know and love other than the fact that it has one extra claw." I'm thinking prehistoric aquatic reptiles are the way to go, because it's legitimately new. It'll be refreshing. That or some of the recently discovered feathered therapods, that could definitely be fun visually. Seeing a 15 by 40 foot rainbow-feathered carnivore would really be something.

If they are to bring T-rex back into the next movie, I would like to see them using the new findings about T-rex's nature. For example, new evidence has shown that T-rex may not have been a solitary hunter but hunted in small family packs. I would also like to see new dino's and hope that they look even more realistic and give us a better glimpse on what dinos possible looked like alive.

o ya and some PACHYCEPHLOSAURUS action should b in there. They may b herbivores, but they sure r strong! PTERADONS should b in there too. They were awesome in the 3rd JP movie!

Bring in some aquatic dinos, like Chasmosaurus or Mosasaur. We can say that they somhow broke the gate keeping them in the marine exhibit and they fled into the ocean, then they stayed in the area around the island. I also vote for Spinosaurus as the main big 1, but some other big ones would b kool 2. Alasaurus, ceratoraurus, or maybe a Acrocanthosaurus if that would b a good idea. But i think you hav GOTTA have raptors no matter what! Troodons and dilophasauruses r also rlly awesome!

Does anyone remember Jurassic Park Interactive? I saw a YouTube video of it recently and thought of it as down right UUUUGLY!!! But when you get killed by any of the raptors or get killed by the T-rex the game fades to black and then shows a clip of your death. E.g. you get PWN3D by a raptor and the screen fades to black. Then a raptor appears on the screen walking casualy until all of a sudden jumping up close to the screen with is claws in attack position and the raptor gives out a very loud raptor scream, thus the player causing a flood in their pants and reacting like they've just lost 6 years of their life.

Any suggestions on how to get Operation Genesis? I'm looking on Amazon right now and all of the used ones are $90+ which is a ridiculous amount to pay.

Oooh!! Forgot to mention this. Lex and Tim. I feel like the running gag and most unbelievable aspect of the sequels is the "Why the hell do they keep going back?" And there's always some way that they get lampooned into going back. I feel like that should be a major part of the story, that they choose to go back this time. Not because they're being bribed but because maybe Tim never got over it. Maybe Tim always wanted to go back despite his better judgement. Maybe Grant and Malcolm always had a part of them that wanted to go back. Why do they keep going back? Why do all these third parties try over and over to get their hands on the dinosaurs when history has shown that it is NOT going to end in their favor? Maybe change it up so that the bad guys DO walk away having won something for once. Ideas to play with and keep in mind.

Yeah this is really good. I like how grounded in reality it is, in that all these new elements of the JP mythos you're describing seem like real world evolutions of the universe that Jurassic Park has already established. Some of these characters seem a little flat, like we've been there before, especially the South African hunter. But the fact that it's someone's job to retire dinosaurs that escape the island feels very real. I'd just work hard to distance him from Roland Tumbo. The biggest input I'm gonna give you though is that since the MacGuffin in this story is the digital information that survives on Jurassic Park, you should sort of run with that technothriller cyber punk quality, build a cast that more reflects that aesthetic. You have a lot of cool things to play with: aging technology that would need to be reactivated, new age scientists from across the world trying to get their hands on this technology, and the juxtaposition of all of this onto a jungle filled with dinosaurs. And finally we have mercenaries with guns on the island. This is really what this franchise has needed for a while, Lost World really was a missed oppurtunity in that regard. So I'd pit them against the raptors, who despite being able to talk in Jurassic Park 3, didn't do very much to impress the audience with their problem solving abilities. i feel like after years the raptors would've gotten their lay of the land by now. I can see a handful of species having already died off since they were left to themselves. Anyway, these are just my thoughts but I feel like a real game of cat-and-mouse between the raptors and the mercenaries is what the franchise needs. This is a really cool set up for a movie, I hope the new one's somewhere along these lines.

It's a fun take on the dinosaurs, tankgirl. I think that sci-fi movies set in future should more often show dinosaurs as well, without actually becoming "dino films". the T rex is my favorite dinosaur and the best carnivore in jurassic park. the spinosaurus is a great predator but the tyrannosaurus is way better.

My second fav. (first is ovious.can't spell for my life..) is Disney's dinosaur. I loved the story and the Carnotarus is my fave dino in that movie!
