I wonder what's next?
P.S. Do you even know how to write a bad chapter? ;)
Great fight! I expected Guan to win.
If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that its not quite as user-friendly as the old one. It took me an hour just to fid the different topic categories.
Oh, I know. I was just saying glad she was put in her place. She should know by now that challenging a fully grown angry T. rex is not a good idea. At all.
Oh and Mr. Happy you were a big input on the fights. raptor401, you too helped me format my posts. I forgot to mention you, sorry. :)
@Mr. Happy and raptor401- Thanks so much! I appreciate your help and feel free to critique my fights later on. I forgot to mention, I also work at a museum with a paleontologist and give out tours and help the fossil prep in the lab. I appreciate your welcome too, raptor401! What do you guys think of the Ice Age vs Dino fights? (ingen quite possibly cloned more than just dinosaurs, you know.) ;) Also, I will check out both of your posts. I am already familiar with Mr. Happy's fights and Life of Thorne, and raptor's "if you could "posts. Both are amazing. Oh, and Mr. Happy, I'm your age. Good to see another person my same age, who is interested in the same stuff. =)
Amazing fight.
Two words Vince Vaughn.
35 degrees Fahrenhiet with wind? That's it? That's shorts and T-Shirt weather to me. I was talking -20 degrees Celsius without wind, feels like -40 with wind, thats my idea of cold.
Good fight, I was rooting for Guan
Thanks guys.
She didn't kill her, but she is pretty beat up.
Eh, the update is alright.
Welcome! You can check out my "If you could posts". I wouldn't say it is extremely popular, but I try to make them fun!
Looking forward to your fights. I'm going to be posting the second set of my my fight series, DD9097, after I finished Thorn's Life, and afte the Medium ones, I'm going to be doing the large dinosaurs.
It's always nice to be an insparation for something.
Im ready to play this come on.
Spinosaurus' teeth were built much like those of modern crocodiles; they were conical, unserrated, and pointed. They were designed for puncturing and gripping, nothing more; they were designed for piscivory. Unlike the teeth of animals like tyrannosaurus or deinosuchus, spinosaurus' teeth were designed for simple deep penetration alone and were generally quite slender and sharp; unlike the former creatures, its teeth were structured to pierce efficiently and were not as much reliant on bite force to do surplus damage.
It should be noted that this anatomy does in fact seem to be disadvantageous for crushing as MrHappy said, as they would be particularly ineffective at it and would likely be damaged with such strong perpendicular force. Their morphology indicates that they were structured best to pierce quite deeply without heavy reliance on the same kind of bite force as in tyrannosaurus, as they were rather elongate and were quite sharp at the point but were yet unserrated. In other words, they were well adapted for impaling and resisting lateral stress in fishing, not such powerful biting.
@Carnosaur Hey carnosaur, it didn't include some quill imprints did it? Like psittacosaurus?

Wow. Just wow. The format looks amazing Chris. Nice job.
This chapter was great. I love this series. I was a little worried when you said that Rexy/Thorne would just find Lady Margaret dead, which was pretty anit-climatic and I was disappointed that it sounded like Rexy wouldn't defeat Lady Margeret. You proved me wrong! Rexy defeated the trike in such an awesome way too! Keep iit up!
Alright then, Thanks @Carnosaur.
I actually Don't know, And probably T-Rex is more of a Black With Green And White Stripe ( My Opinion ), not Pink, that's Ridiculous.
Wow, thank you so much evreyone for your interest! Usually I only get few people who contribute, but this time 6 people did! I will definetely keep on making more of these!? In fact, I will start brainstorming on a piece of paper!
A Rex/Spino/Utahraptor/Mosasur/Dragon deadly on land, in water, and air.
Good fight.
I cant wait to read the nexted one.
Great Chapter.
Spino rex, Spino Won the last FBR, Its half and half if I remember correctly at the moment...
And I honestly Dont favour either speicies higher, I favour them equally, SURE im on Team Rex, But do you think we judge everything by that? No, I just chose that when I started on the site... It truly means nothing. Not in the slightlest.
ALSO
Has there ever been a war... Were the winner doesnt face adverity and challanges?!?!?!?
Man, Chris I've got to give you Kodos, This is really Awesome (Was a tad shocked when I logged on this afternoon but remembered you were planning updates)
This actually kinda reminds me of the JP-3D web page... The Park gates, The Logo off to the side the shading..
Looks beautiful!
Well you dont exactly know that, i think that if spinosaurus had the biting strength of Trex, it cound do about the same. A lot of the damage a Trex inflicted was bite stregth. Spinosaurus had a pretty good bite force, i personally think it could have gone up to a good 5000 lbs, give or take.
Yeah i know that, but it seems that the times spinosaurus wins the FBR fight, it has the hardest time winning, but when Trex on the other hand wins easier. And also Mr Happy, ive saw that Spinosaurus and Trex teamup fight on your site, spinosaurus barely does anything to try to help the Trex nor itself, and you made the Trex do pretty much all of the fighting and saving.
Baby stego, allosaurus, T-rex, Baby T-rex, and The Sniper Rifle. When is the teah demo coming?!

Forgot to mention, T-Rex killed prey by crushing its bones. A Spino's teeth probably wouldn't be able to handle the force of the bite combined with the thickness of the bones of the Rex's prey.
My point exactly. Say it's a fact, and someone will dislike it.
S-Rex, I know about the fish being large and having thick scales, but if a T-Rex lived a normal T-Rex life with Spino teeth, the teeth which would probably get broken repeatedly if they had too much force (example, a T-Rex bite force) applied, they would likely break more easily than the teeth that T-Rex had.
I not going to say im going to agree with that, I think Spinosauruses teeth are adaped to whatever it decides to eat, not just fish, but more meant for fish. PS, Spinosaurus caught very large fish, and when theyre thrashing to try to get out of its mouth, the teeth didnt break. And another thing, many of the fish it caught had thick, strong scales. Now we DO know this from fossils of the fish.
You bring up an interesting point. We are not biased however, and the team thing is a popularity contest essentially.
Im not trying to start anything, but i think there should be a Spinosaurus fan to help write the fights, if you know what i mean, because all of the writers are Rex fans at this point.
I agree with lots of people it would be nice to see Laura Dern, and Sam Neill ( His name has two L's people!!! :) ) Even as just cameos... Can casting confirm whether or not they have been approached or even asked? For any straight up Sam Neill fans this would be a treat. Someone even mentioned Ralph Fiennes, How cool would that be to see em both. Anyway, keeping fingers and toes crossed. For more anyone who loves Sam Neill, He also has a cute lil blog at www.twopaddocks.com and is known for his delicious Pinot Wines. Which is now available in the USA :) Cheers everyone!
Robin
That is basically what I said; spinosaurus was not entirely reliant on fish, but most of its diet is comprised of them. What the guy above me was implying was that spinosaurus was "too large to only prey on apparently small fish". It was simply very well designed for predation on the large freshwater fish that existed in its ecosystem, so naturally that seems to be depending on the whole competition factor.
Animals all have a certain niche by which they live and are adapted to cope with, thus it is no surprise as to why spinosaurus evolved distinctive gripping adaptations from all if not most non-spinosaur macrophagous theropods; as a physical adaptation for its primarily ichthyophagous lifestyle. Just as carcharodontosaurus and bahariasaurus (which was a macrophagous ceratosaur btw) for example were designed for killing larger animals mainly whereas spinosaurus was adapted for fishing. Of course spinosaurus was not preying on goldfish, but in response to the last guy's comment, every animal lives in a certain niche. Take baleen whales for example
