The largest gorgonopsid was Inostrancevia. It was about 11 ft long and would have weighed a good 500-800 pounds or so. Figured I'd give you the size of the largest species since you didn't want to find it :)

(Green is Smilodon)

Good fight. I was rooting for Ceratosaurus, but I expected Albertosaurus to win. Well done :)
great fight carnosaur. That reminds me i need to post one today.
46 fossils under one glacier!!!
"Thanks to an anonymous source, we've been exclusively leaked information on a few of Jurassic World's plot details as well as the official name of the terrifying new Dinosaur which we'll see in the film next summer!"
The source is anonymous. where did this info come from? I don't believe anything until it's confirmed from Universal, Jack, film crew, or cast. I'm sure you all are not lying; perhaps you've come across a source I haven't. But everywhere I read, it says the source is anonymous.
JUDGE BAGGINS - This is extremely compelling news! I very greatly enjoy the information you've presented - gets my mind turning! Thank you ever so much for bringing this to us! :)
Awesome! Too bad they can't find a perfectly preserved Rex in the ice!
i've noticed that as well....speaking of which i really need to get back on that story..
T-Rex Kingdom hands down.
Mosasaur would be pretty sweet though. Close second.
thanks! working on another one right now...should be up soon!
hard to say... Maybe the mosasaur feeding show
Great fight. I was rooting for the Tarbosaurus, but I still enjoyed this fight a very great deal.
Yep, definitely a fascinating animal. I think that it's interesting how Tyrannosaurs, which mainly preyed on Ceratopsids, Ankylosaurids and Hadrosaurids, went from long arms and small jaws to humungous jaws and tiny arms. While Carcharodontosaurids, which preyed on small Ornithopods and gigantic sauropods, had long, relativley weak jaws and large, three-fingered arms.
Great. I love it. I'm looking forward to the next one.
P.S. Great coloration.
Unfortunatly, that's part of the reason RS is being delayed. When I'm not busy, I'm lazy. Gonna write another fight or two right now.
That's alright!
I've been meaning to write some more fights recently, just been waaayyy to lazy
I could've sworn there were more. Oh well, goldfish memory at work.
this thing was huge, i could see it coexisting with the other animals on the island. Good job
i like how you had everyone who was killed off survive, looking forward to the next chapter.
i would imagine..
Doing some digging round the site, i've seen that Ekrixinatosaurus hasn't lost a fight so far. Mainly because there's been three or so..
UCMP's Shaochilong vs Ekrixinatosaurus
My Ekrixinatosaurus vs Chilantaisaurus
and of course, the one you just read. I did find a topic that gave me a laugh though, back from the dino fights age..
I did take the factors you guys were mentioning into hand, but the abelisaur pulled out on top in this one
I'm not going to say too much, but the Random part of Random Sector lives up to its name. Just saying.
Thanks. I threw him in for comical value.
MR.HAPPY9097 - Hahaha! Nedry! What a disgustingly awful fellow! I didn't like him in the book, and I certainly didn't like him in the movie. Wayne Knight did a fantastic job of portraying that bloke. This was a fun chapter! Thank you for bringing this to us! :)
i would say the mosasaur show
thanks guys.
And Mr.Happy...i'm not entirely sure, haha i'll get back to ya on that one
Good fight, I was rooting for Tarbo though.
Quick question: Has Ekrixinatosaurus ever lost a fight in these forums?
T-Rex Kingdom for me.
Keep it up carno.
well in 1996 they found a Sauroniops or know as the eye of sauron and its a match for trex.
Love this fight keep them coming.
There is nothing but baseless bull here.
Move along fellas, nothing to see here.
That's quite the large velociraptor
Definetley like the style you chose here, makes it look very nice.
I'm definetley interested in seeing more from you.
Gorgonopsid! fascinating animal...looking forward to it
those studies, i've read them before. They're based on pointless speculation, pointing that modern birds are omnivorous.
The Raptor family, which is believed to be the direct descendant of small theropods, are not omivorous.
They base their findings off of small birds, which is just pointless.
i've always found it interesting how the early tyrannosauroids have long, three fingered arms. Eotyrannus is definetly a cool little animal
You got some cool carnivores Carnosaur(literally with Cryolophosaurus).
Ill do carno after allo for allotitan, in the mean time, here is a seak peek of the next creature Ill do.
Love the detail of the raptor. I noticed the lile details like the red on the edge of the beak and the tiny back toe. Also i think i might know wat you mean when you say this is for fun but is also being used foe something else. Should I say? Here is a hint. PK.
Glad to see my post had an influence on you :)
