It could still be useful for shooting through thick dino bone.
These are carbonate residues and impressions left by the ichthyosaurs (that's right, I've been reading some geology stuff).
Andrewsarchus would woop gorgon's butt any day.

BOOM!
Mosasaur feeding, though t-rex kingdom is a close second.
Reading this, made me feel better. I think Collin can pull it off. Just give him a chance.
Duratok is right, its a toy form 1993 serie 2.
http://jurassicpark.wikia.com/wiki/Carnotaurus , so do you think the D rex could look like the Carnotaurus?
oh and I know Diablo and Diabolus are similar, the similitude has a reason and is that a lot of words in diferent languages got greek and latin roots, Diabolus in fact is Latin :)
I'm a little upset about the confirmation. I was really hoping to see Carnotaurus. It's not as bad as people think. It's still a dinosaur. Think of the dilophosaurs. It was completely fictional; it could have been a hybrid with a spitting lizard and frilled dragon. Also, the raptors were huge;could have been hybrids. I just really hope there are more dinosaur species shown than just in the map. I'm guessing we will see some new dinosaurs on the Cretaceous Cruise and maybe the botanical gardens. As for thr paddock, it seems a little small for the quarantine.
This is an old toy, I had it when I was a kid. Man I loved that thing.
MR.HAPPY9097 - Ugh! You're right! That Spinosaurus is quite obviously a reconstruction. I like my dinosaurs to look like they're made of bone - not particle board! ;) Regardless, it is a rather neat reconstruction. :)
REX FAN 684 - Wow! Those are some extremely fascinating locations you've presented! I would absolutely love to see the Smithsonian and the Chicago Field Museum - I've heard they're magnificent. Thank you so very much for bringing this to us! I'll definately try to have a go at them! :)
MR.HAPPY9097 - I have absolutely no problem with having to read two installments at a time! Oh, darn the luck; I have to read something entertaining! ;) As for you being offline for a bit: I'm definately going to miss your comments for that time - you always bring wit and intelligence to topics. Regardless, good luck on the farm, sweetie. I know you'll do a fine job and make your family proud. :)
DoYouKNowTheMuffinMan? - Welcome to the site! It's always pleasing to see new faces around here. Make yourself at home and start posting away! As for your topic: that is incredibly compelling! I've never before seen this toy - it looks quite neat! Thank you very much for sharing this with us! :)
i don't see why you shouldn't do 2 chapters a day! lookin forward to it
not overly suprised this one was about Sue, but eh i will watch it.
The trailer didn't load all the way until a few seconds ago, so yeah, if it ever comes out on DVD or airs on TV.
I'd love to watch it. Unfortunetly, that decision isn't up to me. It's up the buzzkill I call my brother. So yeah, I'll be sure to enjoy it if it ever comes out on DVD or repeats during school.
This was very comforting for me. Thank you Colin. Never did lose faith in you, but this gave me even more.
I agree(I say 46-56 ft, so it's right there for me). I'll be seeing the Chicago Filed Museum and Dinosaur National Monument next year when my dad and I take a road trip out west. Can't wait.
Phew...Well at least there won't be trained Velociraptors. I don't know how to feel about the genetically altered "D-rex" but i guess with the right spirit it could be done well.
yeah i know thank god. im so glad there like trained circus monkeys
That's good, he cares about more than just making money. The most relieving part was regarding the trained dinosaurs, not the case, thankfully.
55 feet is a reasonable maximum for the animal, if you ask me of course.
Petting Zoo! Well, why not? Mosasaur show close second, and Aviary as third.
indeed. from the way he talks you can really tell he cares about the movie similar in way to how gareth edwards cared about godzilla
This is a good list! I'd put this travelling exhibit I saw once as an honorable mention.
The Jap skeleton is 55 ft(not too bad in my opinion).
Personally, I would have put the Carnegie up higher, but I had to be as neutral as possible.
That sounds better. Nearly had a heart attack Before I read it.
You can even tell the thing is a reconstruction. Figures the Japanese have a replica. How big is it anyway?
Nice list, though I myself would have the Tyrrell higher up. Maybe it's because I'm Canadian, maybe it's because Albertosaurus is one of my top 3 favourites and they have a big ass Albertosaurus exhibit. Who am I kidding? It's both.
Yeah, 11 meters at most. Most estimates I've seen hover in the 9-11 meter long range. Still a very big and cool dinosaur...

Wonder why they all died in the same spot?
I was rooting for Tarbosaurus too(I would have put it at 10-12 meters and 4-6 tons personally), but well written.
Here's another fight featuring Ekrixinatosaurus from back in the day....

That's OK. Future reference, don't google Gorgonopsid. That's too general(it's the family name). Usually you'll want the more specific species called Inostrancevia(the species seen in Walking With Monsters, Primeval, Dinosaur Revolution, etc).
It not that I didn't want to find the size, it's the fact that when I google Gorgonopsid, all i can bloody find is wrath of the titans and final fantasy.
i thought sauroniops was 11 meters and 4 tons?
neat stuff
thanks guys! it's nice to write these again.
