I don't know about the fan art, and the image of D-Rex is looks like an Allosaurus, really

for the design I think it would not be that far from what we saw in telltale game

That scene annoyed me a lot and I believe you are right about the upgrade. It is stupid that they could not for at least one scene in which It was needed use the original raptors and then introduce the new ones as a suprize. Still JP3 was not the best of JP saga and I guess if you want to have fun with it you could say the scene was a "Psycic Vision in a Dream".

The subspecies theory is very attractive, and I want to agree to it, but it does'nt explain one scene in JP3. When Alan Grant has the 'nightmare' in the plane, he sees a raptor speaking beside him. The raptor uses the newer design, though Alan persumably never saw the new 'subspecies'. Again, on the island, Alan Grant made no comment on the changed design. Maybe the film producers just wanted to upgrade the design of the dinosaurs to match more recent studies, and chose to ignore continuity.

Techically there are males in TLW. There are two color morphs pesent in TLW pack with the original coloration representing the female and the newer red tiger striped individuals representing males.

Also the JP3 raptors are anatomically different from the raptors in the first two films not only in color and having display quills on the males, but in head shape, eye size, pupil shape, and tooth alignment within the mouth. Evolution takes thousands or even hundreds of thousands of years over successive generations which is much too long for these differences to have occured. Also behaviorally the JP3 raptors are more organized, intellegent, and less violent then the raptors in the first two films which were described to and shown to kill each other.

 The most probable reason for the differences are that two "subspecies" were cloned differenty with sornaensis having more dromaeosaur DNA then the nublarensis raptors. This explains why the JP3 raptors looked and behaved more like true dromaeosaus while the ones in the first two films were more reptilian.

Rex Fan 684- The one from Primeval kind of reminds me of Dakosaurus although that's a crocodilian.

Site A's raptors Were Different Then Site Bs, Because of their Colouring, The Raptors on Site A, were in much different Conditions then Site B. Hence why their colouring was different.

Calm down. Notice how up until JP3 We never see any male raptors? Ever wonder what those Feathers were for? Those are for attracting a Mate. Notice how the Alpha (White) Doesn't have any? The alpha is female, while the rest, are male.

In TLW, It was a "Pride" Pack set up, where the Females hunt, while the Male protects the territory. 

So, In conculsion... There is no "Raptor Types" Just different Stages... 

Sci-fi King25- your thinking of the male nublarensis raptors. All of you have great perspectives and it is hard to beat the classics.

Good fight with a realistic ending after all very little can match a spinosaur in the water.

I prefer the Nublar raptors myself(although they are slightly less accurate, relatively speaking).

I'm a fan of the Primeval design myself. Very crocodilian and fierce looking(quite inaccurate I'll admit)...

I also like the Chased By Sea Monsters design(more accurate)...

Not sure which species this is, but I prefer the tiger-colored ones from the Lost World. (I count it and the originals as V. A. N., and the JP3 ones as V. A. S.)

In the book has a cave in south of the island where they found a nest, maybe they can use the idea. They open the cave and boom, dozens of Raptors running wild in the park. Beautiful.

I'm thinking that it might be an entirely new species which will collide with a pack of Nublar-Raptors that survived the 93 incident.

Something like what the two previous comments state for me.

I myself would rather see the Nublar ones. That's me though.

Because there was a mosasaur in Telltale's game which at the moment can be considered canon, I would like the new animal to be similar to it, with a few changes from advancments in genetics and paleontology.

Personally, i'd like to see somethin like this. It gives off a good vibe, not too over the top, but not plain either.

In all honesty, i'm happy with with whatever Trevorrow throws out. As long as it ain't over the top flashy or what have you..

i feel it gives the fight an overall better vibe to it, instead of just going straight into one animal ripping anothers throat out, i like to give backstory, other animals, etc.
