Not an hour after, the cleanup team arrived, the gigantic creature had since had its fill and no longer took interest in the surface, instead he now began investigating the small windows that the guests looked through. The leviathan was visibly angered by them, and I could see the gears in his head turning, trying to find a way to kill them, to kill them all.

I was rooting for Giga as well 

Now this was a fight!  I was rooting for Giga, only because of the huge chip on his shoulder and fearlessness.  He was like Leonidas from 300:  NEVER RETREAT, NEVER SURRENDER!!!

This is a wonderful idea Paden!  I was wondering when we'd move away from our dinosaurs fighting all the time and focus on their natural essence.  It's hard to move away from this notion because we want to see action (ex. Who gets excited by watching a crocodile lying still on a river bank while basking?).  And most animals don't want to fight, but are forced too.  They're more cowards than mighty warriors, who would rather live to fight another day rather than risk their lives for a kill or for pride, and even in intraspecific conflict, they are usually demonstrations of strength instead of trying to gore each other each and every time.

The unseen beauty is something I tried to show in The Tyrant's Roar as an underlying theme, especially in the sequences with the Tyrannosaurus family.  Yes, there is combat in there, but I wanted a real story to support a death duel between Giga and Rex instead of the 2 meeting up and going psychotic on each other.

I'll take the Mosasaur if nobody else will.

Even though there were more of them, the deinonychus were outgunned quite clearly. Rooting for and expecting utahraptor to win...good fight
