Here is the fourth fight in my series, sizes may not be accurate, had trouble finding a good one. Also pictures might not work, if not i'll fix them. (THIS GOES FOR ALL FUTURE FIGHTS)
May I encourage you to read the Fighter info because it gives you a better idea of who the individual is, personality, family/pack, motivation, ability appearence ect.
Also some dinosaurs may have a few human-like characteristics, that just how I write...
Torvosaurus
Length: 11 meters
Height: 4.5 meters
Weight: 4.5 tons
Fighter: Large Female, She appears as she does in the picture above, but looks a little more stocky/heavy. Experienced fighter, scars from battle. Never had to fight any carnivore bigger than herself. She currently has two chicks accompanying her.
Mapusaurus
Length: 12 meters
Height: 4.5 meters
Weight: 6 tons
Fighter: Matured Male, just left the status of a teenager to adulthood. No pack, he left his large family (which was like a pack) to start a pack of his own. Appears as he does above, but he also has a broken hand. A few scars, not many, not so experienced fighting alone.
Where? : Open flood plains of Isla Sorna. Food is scarce because the herbivores recently migrated. Torvosaurus’s territory.
FIGHT!
The mother Torvosaurus walked slowly along the open flood plains of Isla Sorna. Her small 2 month old chicks followed her, moving as quickly as they could, trying to keep up. She would occasionally look over her shoulder to check if they were ok. This was her new territory; she had had it for about a month. She used to have 5 chicks, until her mate got violent and cannibalised 3 of them. Only 2 remained, they had been with her ever since. She was forced to leave or the others would suffer the same fate.
It wasn’t easy teaching them to hunt, especially since majority of the herbivores migrated south for the annual migration. Some herbivores stayed, not many, only ones that couldn’t make migration, or weren’t bothered to. Many carnivores were forced to scavenge or even cannibalise.
The young chicks kept moving there little legs, exhausted from about 30 meters. The youngest collapsed. The oldest started screeching and ran to his sibling and tried to lift him with his head, like the soldier rule never leave a man behind. The mother Torvosaurus turned to see this and slowly walked over, casting them in a big shadow. She nudged the chick with her snout and growled lowly. The mother heard something, and scouted the tall grass with her eyes. She could only see tall grass, a few small trees and water. Then finally she spotted a Pachyrhinosaurus who was eating a plant next to an unusually large and thick bush. It was huge, enough for a large carnivore to fit in. But what was it doing out here? Either way, it was the perfect ambush spot. At lightning speed the Mapusaurus sprung from the bush, jaws open. The Pachyrhinosaurus failed to react. The Mapusaurus grabbed it by the neck, bit down hard and it was over. The Mapusaurus began eating and violently ripping his prey apart.
This Mapusaurus had just left home, trying to start a pack of his own; he was in good shape and had great size. His left arm was broken and useless, but he didn’t need that. He was lucky he found this Pachyrhinosaurus, food was scarce. The Mapusaurus checked to see he was alone. He saw the Torvosaurus, but pretended he didn’t, he would take her by surprise
The Torvosaurus was in dire hunger, she also had chicks to feed. She would attack, or scavenge from the Mapusaurus. She slowly walked over, her chicks followed. The Mapusaurus raised his head from his meal, his jaws covered in blood. He warned her with a low roar. She grunted back. Her chicks hid behind her legs. She walked closer, and then grabbed the dead animal’s tail, the Mapusaurus roared in rage. He darted at her. The Mapusaurus bit her neck and clawed her back. She roared in pain, and slashed her hand claws at his face, the claws went deep. Blood gushed from the wounds on both predators.
They began sizing each other up, the Mapusaurus was clearly larger. Then she charged and bit his arm. He roared trying to get free. She tugged and pulled, eventually she ripped it off. Blood squirted out onto the floor. They both began moving quickly, slashing, snapping, clawing, and biting. As they did this, they moved around, stomping. The paranoid chicks ran around their feet crazily, eventually the oldest one was crushed by the Mapusaurus’s huge foot. The younger one screamed in horror. All of a sudden the Mapusaurus swung his tail, smashing the noisy chick away and unconscious. The Torvosaurus ran at the Mapusaurus, who dodged and then tripped her over. The mother smashed into the ground, unconscious. The chick woke up and ran to his brother, not knowing he was dead. He kept nudging it, trying to wake him up from a never ending dream called death. The Mapusaurus walked over to the chicks, bent down and grabbed the dead one by the tail and dragged it up into the air. The hopeless chick watched as his brother was taken away.
The mother awoke to her chick screaming, she instantly looked up. Her chick was running from the Mapusaurus. The chick ran past her. The Mapusaurus followed, this was her chance. As he ran past, she sprung up and grabbed the Mapusaurus by his foot. She bit down, causing it to bleed. The Mapusaurus roared in pain, the mother slowly got to her feet, still having the Mapusaurus’s foot in her jaws. She then flipped him over and released. The Mapusaurus crashed into the ground. This stunned him. The Torvosaurus put her foot on his neck, stepped down and SNAP! All of her weight cracked his neck. The Torvosaurus disembowelled the dead opponent, in revenge for her chick. She turned to her alive chick and encouraged him to eat. Once they were done they rested under the large bush. In the distance thunder began to start…
THE END
And the winner is…Torvosaurus!
Motivation/revenge and mother-child bond won it today.
Hope you enjoyed the fight!
Stay tuned for more!
