MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2014 5:02 PMHere is the third fight in my series, sizes may not be accurate, had trouble finding a good one. Also pictures might not work, if not i'll fix them. (THIS GOES FOR ALL FUTURE FIGHTS)
May I encourage you to read the Fighter info because it gives you a better idea of who the individual is, personality, family/pack, motivation, ability appearence ect.
Also some dinosaurs may have a few human-like characteristics, that just how I write...
Enjoy!
Giganotosarus
Length: 12.8 meters
Height: 7.2 meters
Weight: 8.5 tons
Fighter: Lone Male, large size, experienced in fighting all carnivores, no matter how big. He appears as he does in the picture above, plus many facial scars and a bite mark on top of his snout. Forced out of the pack by his dad, learnt to survive on his own.
Oxalaia
Length: 12 meters
Height: 6 meters
Weight: 6 tons
Fighter: Male looking for a new territory and mate. This individual is orange with black smudges over his skin. This Male is inexperienced at fighting large carnivores and prefers fish.
Where? : One of Isla Sorna’s rainforests. No ones territory. Lots of fish-filled lakes and rivers. Beautiful rainforest, mountains, waterfalls, ect.
FIGHT!
The male Oxalaia searched curiously, he was search for two things, a new territory and a mate. Instinct had brought him here. This area, a lush rainforest, one of many on Isla Sorna, it was great. Lots of shade, yet enough sunlight, damp like he liked it, herbivores if he needed food, but most of all, water. This area was filled with lakes, rivers, streams small mountains, caves and waterfalls. It was perfect. The rivers were filled with large fish and small crocodiles. This Oxalaia just needed a mate, she would be impressed. But what this male didn’t know, was that a large, combat-ready, veteran fighter, large Giganotosaurus was also, searching for a new territory, and he wasn’t far away.
The huge Giganotosaurus bent down to drink from the river. He was thirsty, he had been walking for hours, searching for a new home. He saw his reflection in the water, he saw all of the facial scars. The Giganotosaurus knew where most of those scars came from, and then he saw the bite mark. He remembered be forced out of his pack, many years ago, his dad forced him. He had challenged his dad for dominance, he lost, made it out alive, but barely. He remembered his dad biting down hard on his snout, blood dripping from the wound. His dad released him, they roared at each other as the other pack-mates watched by the dead sauropod.
The male Giganotosaurus awoke from his daydream, he looked down river to see an Oxalaia. It was easy to see because of its bright orange colour. It had a small crocodile in its jaws. The sail-backed creature dropped the croc, and then pinned it down with its large foot. It then used its claws to disembowel the unlucky creature. It began eating.
The Giganotosaurus stood up, turned to the Oxalaia and began to walk down stream to it. This area was beautiful, neither predator wanted to lose it. They were both prepared to fight for it. As the bull Giganotosaurus walked, a group of crocodiles darted into the water at his presence.
The Oxalaia had pretty much eaten the crocodile to the bones and was full. When he turned to get a drink he saw the Giganotosaurus coming, he ignored it. He wasn’t going to bother it as he didn’t see it as a threat.
The Giganotosaurus knew this could get bloody, not that he wanted it to, he wasn’t hungry, neither was his opponent. All he would do is growl, roar and scare it off. The Giganotosaurus growled. The Oxalaia growled back, in a pissed off way. The bull roared, trying to scare his smaller opponent. They began sizing each other up. Both of them growled. Both wanted this territory, but they also knew if someone didn’t back down, it would get bloody.
The Oxalaia swung his long claws at the bulls face, giving him a new set of scars. This pissed the Giganotosaurus; he tried to do it without conflict, but no. If the Oxalaia wanted to fight, fine, he would. The bull roared as blood dripped down his face. He charged. The Oxalaia slashed his face again. The bull tried again. The same thing happened. He had three new sets of scars and the battle had barely started.
In the distance they both heard the sound of thunder; they also saw the dark clouds covering the beautiful sunlight, which was there when they both arrived.
Both predators looked each other in the eyes. Neither was going, so that meant one thing. Fight to the death, winner gets the territory and a meal that could last them a week. They began walking in circles, like a showdown. The Oxalaia roared and charged. The Giganotosaurus reacted. He dodged and then launched a counterattack. He bit down on the spinosaur’s neck. He applied as much pressure as possible. The Oxalaia swung his claw; it hit the bull’s neck. The bull felt the pain and released the spinosaur.
The rain began to fall. First lightly, then it began to bucket. The rapids in the river got faster and stronger. The clear water became dark. Both carnivores stood, knees shaking, body’s exhausted, blood dripped from their wounds. They were both weak, but still prepared to fight. They would both fight until there last breath, they would give it one last try, they would give it 100%. The lightning struck, that was the signal.
They both charged. The Giganotosaurus went low. The bull opened his jaws and targeted his opponent’s leg. The bull bit hard on the Oxalaia’s knee. Then the spinosaur’s jaws clamped down on his snout. The Oxalaia bit hard, applying as much pressure as he could.
The memories came back. The Giganotosaurus felt the pain as his dad crunched down on his snout. He screamed in pain. All he could see was red. Blood, blood, blood, BLOOD! He felt the pressure disappear as his dad let go. He wasn’t welcome here anymore. He roared back, and then disappeared into the forest. He had been banished from the pack by his dad. His dad that had taught him to hunt and survive. He had nothing. Nothing…
The Giganotosaurus shook the Oxalaia off in a burst of rage. The bull was angered, wild, enraged. As he got free, he regained his balance. The Oxalaia didn’t know where this sudden power had come from. The bull charged, jaws open. He bit the spinosaur’s knee. Then SNAP! He twisted its knee. The Oxalaia roared in pain. He started hoping on one leg. He hoped away, from his opponent towards the river. The bull wasn’t done. He charged, smashing into the Oxalaia. The spinosaur lost his balance and went flying into the river. The Oxalaia screamed as he was carried down stream by the rapids. The Giganotosaurus’s vision became blurry, he collapsed, and then…blackness.
The Giganotosaurus awoke to an itch and small bird like noises. He opened his eyes. It was sunny again, a day had passed. He realised the itch was some compys nibbling his foot. He kicked lazily, scattering the small chicken-sized green dinosaurs. He also realised some pterosaurs were poking him. He finally stood up, using lots of energy. He growled, causing the pterosaurs to fly off. He must have looked dead, he looked at his bloody body, he guessed he did. He saw pterosaurs down river; he decided to check it out.
Just as he guessed. The Oxalaia was stuck between two rocks, down river. The water rushed against his body. Some compys nibbled at him. Small crocodiles and fishes fed on him from the river, pterosaurs also pecked at him. The Giganotosaurus saw Dilophosaurus run into the forest with a chunk of meat in its mouth. All of the scavengers retreated as he arrived. He looked down at the Oxalaia and realised it was actually still breathing. The Giganotosaurus ended its suffering by biting down the Oxalaia’s neck. He applied pressure until it snapped. Now it was dead, he had won the battle. This was his territory. He looked down at the river. He saw his reflection, before all the memories flooded his mind; he blocked them out and turned to the meal in front of him.
THE END
And the winner is…Giganotosaurus!
Some bad memories came in handy, maybe even saved his life…Pretty even fight… until Oxalaia bit Giga where he didn’t like it…
Hope you enjoyed!

Jack of all trades. Master of none
Carnosaur
MemberCompsognathusJul-03-2014 5:17 PMOxalaia was probably a suchomimus sized spinosaur, but we really don't have a whole lot of it. Hard to guess on what it was like when we have so little
Good fight though, was rooting for Giga
