Documentary was fake, says so at the beginning. Look up any of the "scientists" and you won't find anything about them outside of the documentary.
Actually, Daspletosaurus was proportionally MORE heavy set than even Tyrannosaurus! So technically it was tankier than Tyrannosaurus!
Maybe your friend read a journalist's misinterpretation of the of the herbivorous Therizinosaur article, who thought that since it mentions Theropods, which includes T-rex, that must mean it was an herbivore or that the paper was prood of T-rex being an herbivore? A lot of those traits sound like a Therizinosaur, besides the useless arms, and the legs aren't THAT stubby. Also "most, if not all Tyrannosaurus have been found with green on their teeth"? WHAT KIND OF LOGIC IS THAT?!! If it were fossilized plant material, it wouldn't be green anymore! Not to mention everything else mentioned here proving Rex was a carnivore. Maybe that green stuff was the weed that the hippie who wrote this article was carrying that "fell" onto the T-rex's teeth......
Wait, how did Verendus give Maledictus the same name that Nequit gave him?
To me, the canon ending was best, the mixed and great ending, although they had mixed to great outcomes, were a bit anticlimactic hahaha. If those were canon, we never would have met the Tyrant Lord or seen Maledictus fight the world hahaha!
When you say "T-rex is the greatest predator of all time", what about Megalodon, or Mosasaurus? Orcas? Even blue whales can technically be considered predators, they predate on tiny animals that eat plankton making them carnivores, and can easily be 2 times as long, and many more times in weight. Also, rex wouldn't be able to use its full bite force (which was matched by Dunkleosteus, and far exceeded by multiple Pliosaurs and Megalodon, as well as probably at least C. chubutensis) on the Carch's neck, as it was too thick and wouldn't fit at the back of the rex's neck, where most of the bite force came from. It barely would have fit in its mouth at all. The carc has an advantage where it could sever the jugular with ease using the teeth that are its namesake. It could sever many other blood vessels in the body as well, yet you don't see everyone saying a Carc would one shot a rex. They're both incredible predators worthy of our respect, and one being more evolved than the other doesn't mean jack ****. Humans came into existence much later than these to, and with just our natural defenses we wouldn't stand a chance. Also, an anky could take out a rex with a swing that can break bone, and they were rare in their environment so it would not have been very useful for rexes to adapt to hunt them in the first place, and there is no actual evidence of Tyrannosaurus eating Ankylosaurus besides them living together. The more evolved thing is a product of an outdated look on Darwin's theory of evolution, evolution isn't linear, it branches, and so nothing is really more "advanced" than anything else, they are just more specialized for something else and only focus evolving what needs to be evolved. Also, Tyrannosaurus being smart is false, it was smart for a large Theropod, but at best would only be about as smart as a chicken. It still wouldn't be smart at all. And "the most heavily evolved predator to have ever existed"? Bull ***. Mosasaurs spent much longer evolving, crocodiles and sharks have evolved for much longer and are still around, showing their success over Tyrannosaurus. And a Megalodon would crush it, at least in water. Many other creatures would as well, mainly water creatures though. You also should say "that we know of", because there could have been many creatures much more fearsome than a rex that we don't know about. Maybe a descendant of the rex itself, wouldn't that be ironic? And doing all that for some other apex predator and not researching the others with the same vigour would lead you to the same conclusion, many people say it was Megalodon or orcas that were the best, some say Mosasaurus, and so on. So if someone wants a Carc to beat a Rex, let them! It could have done so! And a rex taking on and beating a fire breathing demon dinosaur that can regenerate because it became "the Tyrant Lord" is not accurate. Don't get me wrong, I have always loved your work and the amount of effort you put into it. However, you shouldn't bash on the guy, and I realize he could have worded his first response better. And Dakotaraptors hunting Ankys? Even if they were somehow pack hunters, that is extremely far fetched, and even if they did it would be incredibly rare for them to attack, let alone win. They would have to be desperate. Tyrannosaurus was not the strongest creature ever, look at the aforementioned water predators that surpassed it. You know a lot about Dinosaurs, but you focused most of your energy on one and almost disregarding the others, so it seems the most advanced and best to you, but if you put enough research into others you would realize that T-rex had contenders for the most successful predator ever. Sorry if it seemed a bit personal, I tried not to be, I'm just sick of the overhype of the rex and might have taken it out on you, so I apologize. I am sure you are a great person and I thoroughly enjoy your works, they being among the main reasons I joined this site. So, sorry about that. But my points do hold up, and I hope I have conveyed that Tyrannosaurus may not be the most amazing predator ever.
Wait, how did a Dinosaur give live birth? Shouldn't she have laid eggs? And needed recovery time, especially since she was still in labor? Also, if Hunter should have had his back broken when Lightning ripped apart his sail, if he went through bone.
Sorry the Allosaurus description is so long! Please let me know if you enjoyed it
Considering you pitted the second largest Theropod against an 5 metric ton Theropod, it’s obvious who won. Fun fight nonetheless.
as this may be true also but this as a theory the t_rex has one fatal flaw with his lack of movement his leg muscles. take a look on how the rex moves up and down yes they may half walked like humans (balance one foot while the other moves forward) but have you stopped and thought about how there legs actually moved. what im trying to get at is that he could run or jog so to speak and still be balanced not for a long time but the t_rex could jog for a small distance.
I would also like to theorize the fact that the t_rex could roar but as well vibrate. hear me out. the t_rex skeleton as we see here. scientist say that the t_rex could not have roared but have we ever thought about the fact what they found could have been a mating call and that the T_rex could roar. sure the t_rex would not sound like the one from Jurassic park but what i do say is that the t_rex could have roared to assert dominance and or scare predators.
please comment i want feedback from this
Well, in books raptors and other dinosaurs came to the mainland in a similar way.
Velociraptor vs. Protoceratops
Now I see where Spinax gets his cursing from!
Spinax is by far my favorite character you created, not only is he funny, heroic, and the largest of my favorite kind of Dinosaur, he is also a clone/descendant of one of my favorite characters from the end, and lives in the JP Universe! Just overall amazing!
Like how you decided to keep either from killing the other, so there was no clear winner and didn't make too many people angry.
I love how much the Spinosaurids, especially Spinax, curse
Would have thought this would be an April Fools prank, but no! You actually made an awesome battle of epicness!
Brutal killing of my favorite dinosaur, but I thought the Indominus would win anyway, it could take on a predator on par, if not stronger (especially when compared to what Spinosaurus was like in real life) than, with the Spinosaurus as a juvenile, so an adult would be a terrifying creature to behold, even to the Spinosaurus.
Getting so many Tyrants vibes from this!
Would have guessed that, given your name
Thank you for killing off the majority of the cast from that atrocious movie, although a few still survive........
^It's pretty old, the T.rex vs S.aegyptiacus controversy has kinda died down on this site.
10. Daspletosaurus
9. Bahariasaurus
8. Tyrannotitan
7. Giganotosaurus
6. Albertosaurus
5. Saurophaganax
4. Carcharodontosaurus
3. Carnotaurus
2. Ceratosaurus
1. Spinosaurus
You aren't alone anky, you aren't alone. Great fight though!
I'm surprised that the Mapu vs Rex fight caused more controversy than the Rex vs Spino fight
Also, I'm kind of new to Scified, what are these JWW's that everyone is talking about? I'm assuming they stand for Jurassic World War, but I'm pretty stupid and could be wrong.
To be honest, I beleive the rex would win on land, but I do also believe if they were in water the Spino would win. It's like having a Crocodile fight a rhino. Sure the crocodile could come on land, and the rhino can probably swim slowly, but neither battlefield is fair. The only way it would be fair is if they were in free fall. Then they both would die XD
Actually, Octopi are very smart, much smarter than sharks so it would have head that advantage too. Otherwise, it was a great fight! Although it was an easy winner to me, the Kraken. It's almost twice as large as the Megalodon and has more reach.
I hope they name the next one after Darkseid, and hopefully another Abelisaurid XD. Or maybe after Galacticus..... hmm..... Anyways, if I were to come up with an actual name, depending on the animal, I'd call it "Texasraptor parvaneh", or "Texas Thief _____", but only if it fit the animal. What? I'm not going to tell you the full meaning, but kudos to you if you can figure out what language the species name is from and what it means. What was I talking about again? Oh yeah, Thanos. Wait, which Thanos? DAMN IT!!!!!!!! EVERYTIME!!!!!
Bit late to the party
Tarbotyrannus prodigium (Alarming Tyrant monster)
Size: 39-42.5 feet (11-13 meters) long, however some individuals can grow up to 51 feet (15.5 meters) long.
Weight: 10 tons (9 tonnes)
DNA: Tyrannosaurus rex, Tarbosaurus bataar, Alioramus altus, Yutyrannus huali, Albertosaurus sarcophagus, Qianzhousaurus sinensis, Daspletosaurus torosus, Gorgosaurus libratus, Lythronax argestes, and Nanuqsaurus hoglundi
Main Enemies: Ultimaspinus timore (Ultimate Spine terror), Carcharodontotyrannus praedo (Shark Toothed Tyrant destroyer), and Indominus rex (Untameable king).
Security: Very high, nearly Indominus level security.
Description: These alarming tyrants are among the most deadly creatures exhibited within the park. They were not created with the intention of becoming weapons, but they could possibly be more practical than the Indominus if they were used for such. Not only is the DNA all from Tyrannosauroids, mainly Tyrannosaurids, unlike creatures from across the entire animal Kingdom like the Indominus, reducing its likelihood of failing to survive incubation and making it take less work to create, reducing costs and improving efficiency. There is another reason, which I will delve into later. However, as of now they are simply the most dangerous attraction in the park, however more hybrids are in the works, and there is a rumor they may bring back the Indoraptor and Indominus. The base genome is that of a Tyrannosaurus, giving its large size and tremendous bite force of 8-12,000 psi, enough to crush bone. It also has a coat of feathers from its Yutyrannus ancestry, as well as long arms with the muscle of a Tyrannosaurus, making them incredibly deadly. Of course, this means the tail is longer to balance the weight. It also has a crest from the Yutyrannus, as well as the snout bumps of the Alioramus and the brow ridges of the Albertosaurus. It has the sense of smell of Nanuqsaurus, which is even better than that of the Tyrannosaurus! It has the jaw locking system unique to Tarbosaurus and Aliroamus which gives it an iron grip, meaning nothing can escape its jaws when bitten. Its snout is also elongated slightly due to the Qianzhousaurus DNA. It has the teeth of the Daspletosaurus, which are proportionally larger than those of Tyrannosaurus. It also possesses the speed of Gorgosaurus, clocked in at 30 miles per hour as opposed to the Tyrannosaurus' mere 12 miles per hour. They also have a waddle that is larger on males, which can be expanded to attract a mate. The teeth are also slightly serrated due to the Tarbosaurus DNA. All of these traits make it deadly enough already, but the most frightening trait is yet to come. The most terrifying thing is inherited from the Albertosaurus DNA, it hunts in packs of 5-15 individuals, one pack on Isla Tacano reaches 22 individuals! That would make it more tolerable to fellow combat-Dinosaurs in a battlefield and less likely to kill its siblings, like the Indominus which might attack each other at birth or turn on eachother on the battlefield. It's fairly intelligent for a Dinosaur, but still nothing near the intelligence of dolphins. It can adapt to numerous environments as well, it prefers floodplains due to the Lythronax DNA, but it can also live in Tundras from Yutyrannus and Nanuqsaurus, deserts from Tarbosaurus, swamps from Tyrannosaurus, and can live in forests due to the Qianzhousaurus DNA. It hunts Ceratopsians, Stegosaurs, Ankylosaurs, Hadrosaurs, Therizinosaurs, and Iguanodonts, lone juveniles hunt Ornithomimids, small Ornithopods, Heterodontosaurids, and Pachycephalosaurs. However, packs can occasionally take on large Sauropods as well. They come into frequent competition with Indominus and Carcharodontotyrannus, however they rarely compete with Ultimaspinus. However, when Ultimaspinus and Tarbotyrannus do compete for food, usually during the dry season due to the rivers drying up and taking away Ultimaspinus' food source away, fish, the fights are brutal, usually ending in death for some unknown reason. Oddly, the hybrid is more aggressive to other hybrids than regular Theropods of its size. In fact, it can usually coexist peacefully with other large Theropods, especially some of the creatures in its DNA. This may be because it has such a varied diet that it can choose to hunt creatures the other Theropod doesn't hunt so they don't have to compete, it actually has been observed hunting creatures as small as Ornithomimus to avoid competition. It's unknown why it has such a hatred for other hybrids. However, this peacefulness doesn't last throughout the year, as during mating season males become much more aggressive. Parents are also very aggressive towards large carnivores if they feel threatened for their young. Another interesting to note is that both parents raise the young, and the rest of the pack helps with each other's young to the point that some young grow up being primarily raised by a Tarbotyrannus that wasn't its birth parent, somewhat like the Austrailian Magpie. When it hunts, it primarily uses its jaws to hunt prey, it will often use its long arms as well, but usually against prey that isn't armoured, like Sauropods and Hadrosaurs, but they have been used against Ceratopsians, Stegosaurs, Therizinosaurs, and even Ankylosaurs in some cases. They are mainly ambush predators, and wait until they can get a good shot at the neck or another vital area. The pack works together to lure in the prey, and the most impressive stunts from packs have been seen against Ankylosaurs and Sauropods. In both cases, the packs constantly swipe and bit at the legs, trying to avoid getting hit by the tail/getting stomped on. They do this until the prey item collapses from blood loss/exhaustion or its legs are so mangled that it can't do anything. It's combat capability is legendary. In fact, fights between a Tarbotyrannus and another Theropod remain in the top 3 most popular scenes on the safari tour on Isla Tacano. It forgets any peacefulness it had before and fights to the death against anything it is up against, even a pack of Tyrannosaurus when alone, and in a couple scenarios its ferocity scared off the pack of Tyrannosaurus, after one of their pack members died within mere moments. They will absolutely decimate any competition, but they do lose sometimes, there are a few occasions where a hybrid or other large Theropod have killed a Tarbotyrannus, even Hadrosaurs have trampeled them in large herds, but these are far outmatched by the success of Tarbotyrannus. One bad thing about their legendary ferocity is that after they win a battle, they usually don't let the opposing side leave alive, even if they flee, and for the next hour or so they go into a rage, killing anything they can come across. Other than that, they are fairly peaceful, and don't bother people too much unless starving or in one of those fits. However, juveniles are much more dangerous to humans, as we are right in the size range for juveniles to prey on. So if you see one in the wild, it should be the juvenile you should be more afraid of, although the adult is still incredibly dangerous.
Sorry about how long it is!
The End and Jurassic Park connection confirmed?!!!!!
Regarding who Tyran's parents are, someone better pick up the phone, cause I'm the one who ****ing called it!!!!! (Dragon Ball Z Abridged Reference). And to be specific, I thought that from when the trailer for Lost In The End came out.
Tyrance... has become..... the legendary SUPER SAIYAN!!!!!!
All I just got to say is, man I can't wait for Jurassic World: Extinction to come out
I'd guess around 7 to 10 tonnes.
Do you believe that we essentially have found the biggest T-Rex that ever walked the earth in a span of maybe 5 million years despite the fact that we only have around 50 skeletons? The odds on that are astronomical and the fact that we have found specimens like Trix and Scotty that are almost the same size indicates that even if they were indeed fully grown, they were not extremely large for their sort. Probably average fully grown. How many that reached that age and size is another question however. But we have found parts from some specimens that suggests they were even bigger than Sue but they are way to incomplete to know for sure. And i mean i'm only talking about a specimen that would in this case be 0.7m longer, 0.5m taller and 1 ton heavier than Sue. I don't think that's impossible at all.
While I agree that we currently don't know how big the largest T.rex was, I doubt it would have gotten much longer or heavier than Sue.
Sue and Trix were mature adults at the time of their deaths. If they lived longer, they probably didn't put on much more mass, and didn't get much longer. Their days of rapid growth were over. Birds don't grow much more once they become fully-grown, and the growth rates of crocodilians slow down exponentially the older they get (ex. no 14 foot, 1000 lb 40 year old saltwater crocodile is going to grow to 16 feet in another 20 years, and gain another half-ton during the same time interval).
I admire your fascination with T.rex, but it's important to temper expectations when making educated guesses.
That's badass looking!
I hate to be that factual guy but Scutosaurus were not related to turtles, they were in fact part of a group of unrelated reptiles called parareptiles. Turtles are a type of archosauromorph, which brings them closer to dinosaurs/birds, pterosaurs, and crocodilians.
