MemberAllosaurusMay-14-2016 11:11 AMYes, you read that correctly. I'm doing a T-Rex Vs. Spinosaurus fight. IDGAF how this is viewed.
Tyrannosaurus Rex (Rexy)
Length: 45 ft
Height: 18 ft
Strengths: size, speed, strength, binocular vision, jaws, experience, endurance
Spinosaurus (Spinax)
Length: 50 ft
Height: 18 ft (head), 25 ft (sail)
Strengths: size, speed, strength, claws
Arena: Isla Nublar Volcano
Fight!
It was a dark, stormy night. The humans walked in the forest, finding themselves at the base of Isla Nublar's volcano. Suddenly, a roar filled the air. They turned around to see Rexy, queen of Nublar. She was looking past the group.
"Why isn't she looking at us?" one of the humans whispered. Suddenly, they heard another roar. They turned around to see Spinax the Spinosaurus approaching.
"A Spinosaurus? Well, Rex is screwed," another group member said.
The two titans stomped toward each other, a conflict inevitable. The group ran out of the way just as Rexy bit her opponent's neck, shoving him back.
"Or not," the same human added. They watched the fight as Rexy shoved her opponent to the edge of a cliff. Spinax, using his greater body mass, began to push back, driving Rexy backward. He freed himself from her grip and slashed her in the face, dazing the T-Rex. The humans stood behind her massive foot, watching the fight. The two predators approached each other, and, again, Rexy bit her foe's neck. This time, she swung Spinax around. His waving tail knocked over a tree, which crushed one of the humans with a loud CRASH! Again, Spinax shook her off, hitting the T-Rex in the shoulder. The T-Rex rammed Spinax, slamming him into a rock.
He fell through it and hit the ground, smashing his ribs. He stood up and charged at Rexy, crushing a human under his foot. Spinax hit Rexy with the force of a runaway freight train, knocking her into a tree, crushing another human. The T-Rex got right back up and roared as the Spino grabbed her head in his arms. Spinax bit Rexy's neck, but his jaws were not the right shape or size for crunching through bone. Some of his teeth shattered, and he stumbled back, screeching in pain. Rexy bellowed, but he hit her with his claws, and she went for his leg. The bite caused Spinax a great deal of pain, and he reached down to slash his attacker. He left deep gashes in her sides, and she let go, hitting the Spinosaurus's jaw with her head.
Spinax's head jerked to the side, but he came again, slashing Rexy's throat. She stumbled back, allowing him to bite her leg. The T-Rex just kicked him away, letting out a mighty bellow. They ran at each other, biting the other's neck. Rexy was able to hold on to Spinax's neck longer, and shoved him down. The Spino stood back up, headbutting his foe.
They crashed through a wall, now inside the volcano. Rexy clamped down on her enemy's head, trampling him. He lashed out with his claws, hitting Rexy in the face. She let go, as Spinax grabbed her in his arms, shoving her back. Rexy could tell he was trying to shove her over the edge, into the lava. She pushed back, knocking the Spino over.
The T-Rex roared, the Spinosaurus responded, and they charged at each other. Rexy bit her foe in the shoulder, and Spinax swiped at her thigh. Their legs hit each other, sending both superpredators toppling to the ground. They stood up as the ground began to shake. Both looked over the edge, seeing the lava rise up. The ground began to crumble beneath their feet, and they raced toward the hole in the volcano wall. They got out, jawlocking. Both struggled, then let go to see something. Through the hole in the wall, they could see lava rushing toward them. The ground shook with a loud BOOM! They looked up to see the volcano erupting, and ran for their lives.
As they fled, the theropods continued their fight. Charging down a hill with the lava on their heels, Rexy chomped down on her foe's neck. He fell over, and she went flying over him. Both apex predators slid comically down the slope, with Rexy grabbing Spinax's throat, but he had her neck in his arms. They continued to slide down. But they stopped dead in their tracks as they reached the edge of a cliff. They looked back, saw the lava charging at them, and ran in opposite directions. The lava separated Rexy and Spinax, who were roaring in anger at each other.
"Part of the journey is the end..."

MemberVelociraptorFeb-04-2019 8:22 PMLike how you decided to keep either from killing the other, so there was no clear winner and didn't make too many people angry.
If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJun-01-2020 10:10 AMI don't seem to recall reading this one. It's from 2016, so I think I was still active then. Maybe it was buried. Either way, nice job, I like it didn't have a clear winner.
