The Story of Spinax: Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Birth

Deep inside the swamps of Isla Sorna, new life was entering the world. A Spinosaurus was watching her nest, full of five eggs. One cracked, and a snout stuck through the shell. Below the snout, two hands burst through the hard surface. Then two feet. The new Spinosaurus fell out of the egg, into the terrifying world. The second baby fell out of her egg almost immediately after. Then the third. Then the fourth. But the fifth didn't come. Well, not that day.

One week later

The one remaining egg began to crack. A head stuck through the head, creating a hole in the egg. But he couldn't free himself. He struggled, and the egg fell out of the nest, shattering on the ground. The Spinosaurus shook the pieces of eggshell off, then looked at his surroundings.

This was Spinax. He would grow up to become the largest Spinosaurus ever to walk the Earth, and his life would become an incredible journey, from the day he hatched.
The babies were already hungry, but luckily, their mother had returned with a dead sawfish. They squirmed and fought for the first bite. The oldest sibling got is fill first, and Spinax got to eat everyone's leftovers.
Douchebags, he thought as he ate what was left of the fish.
Spinax was an unhappy Spinosaurus. His siblings excluded him, he always ate their leftovers, and he didn't feel accepted, and, as a result, his eyes always glowed with a burning hatred for the world. He felt constant anger and pain. Spinax's first few dinosaur years of life were normal: wake up, hide, don't get eaten, and eat whatever mom brings back. Luckily, our hero was able to do all of these things.
Things can't get worse, Spinax thought. Unfortunately, he was wrong, and everything slowly went to shit...
