I appreciate it guys! this did take a me a while, just to get exactly how i would do it...but i'm pretty pleased with how it turned out
MR.HAPPY9097 - That was an excellent battle! I greatly enjoyed the inclusion of three predators - it made the combat much more frenetic and interesting! Thank you ever so much for sharing this with us! :)
I liked it. Would've preferred if it wasn't a hybrid dino though...
Was rooting for Carcharadontosaurus I knew you'd make rex win though. Still good fight
Besides that, did you guys like it?
I thought Deja Vu was when you dreamt something, then experianced the same thing in reality. I'll change the name again...I guess. I think it would be cheating to change part of the story though, so I'll keep what I have.
How was it a cliche?
Werewolves, heck yeah. Also, destination truth is a great show. Have you seen their black forest episode?
Good fight. Rooting for carcharodontosaurus, especially after Ceratosaurus died. (I did expect T. rex to win though...)
Very good.
I will release full details on my thoughts on this horror story, creepypasta, whatever you want to call it when I have all of the participant's entries.
This thing is not Deja vu, it honestly just sort of a vision, and the ending was sort of cliche, to be honest.
It would have been 10 times better if you kept the old name and didn't come up with the "It was all a dream, but the dream was a vision" cliche.
Thanks everyone!
Surprisingly good! I wasn't sure even you'd be able to pull making an herbivore creepy off, but man, you nailed it! Nice job!
This is probably in my top 5 favorite fights from you! Really awesome!
19 meters is an exaggerated figure based on the erroneous 1.95 meter long skull. The Dal Sasso et al. skull length estimate was questioned because skull shapes can vary across spinosaurid species.
Keep in mind some paleontologists have put Spino below the 16 meter mark as well. Donald Glut listed it as among the most massive theropods in his surveys, at 15 meters (49 ft) in length and upwards of 6 tons in 1982. In 1988, Greg Paul also listed it as the longest theropod at 15 meters as well, but gave it a much lower weight estimate of aroung 4 tons.
My mind totally glazed over therrien and Henderson et. al (2007) Therrien and Donald Henderson, in a 2007 paper using scaling based on skull length, challenged previous estimates of the size of Spinosaurus, finding the length too great and the weight too small. Based on estimated skull lengths of 1.5 to 1.75 meters, their estimates include a body length of 12.6 to 14.3 meters (41 to 47 ft) and a body mass of 10 to 12 tons.
good chapter scifiking
That is great to know Raptor, i will be sure to look at it!
I would like to see the river scene from the book. For some reason the scenes in the book of the rex sleeping, then chasing them on the river is one of the most memorable for me so would like to see some incarnation of that (perhaps the DRex replaces the TRex in this verison?)
Well then tell me who the scientist is who put Spino at 56-60ft, because 19 meters is 62 ft and 4 inches and 20 meters is is 65 ft and 7inches. Also, remember that most sites put Spino in the 56-60ft range.
Good story, but as a ,an that has had plenty of experience with creepypastas, I've seen joke stories with more spook factor.
no offence.
P.S that's not Déjà vu, that's seeing the future!
The story gives away what will happen next, the main part of the story was about Fear Raptor attacking, but it's a dream. Then the main character (let's call him Quinton) then wakes up and experiences the same things that happened in the first part of the story (the screech and the glowing eyes). It's deja vu, if you don't know what that means, look it up (not the Denzel Washington movie). It left the reader with a creepy feeling (at least, I hope that's what it did) because the same thing that happened in the dream is happening in real life now.
Oh, Raptor 401, are these creepypasta enough?

ARE THEY?!
Point made. The most supernatural I think is cool, are werewolves (vampires can suck it) or werebears. That stuff is knida cool. Or I'll watch Fact or Faked Paranormal Files or I'll watch Destination Truth. Both are cool shows on the Scyfy network.
I give you full support and participation, because this is awesome!
I changed the name of the story, thought it was a bit more...fitting.
Great chapter, please do more
Also, just thought I would share Captain 2K's Wikia page, to all those who wondered what he looks like.
Yeah, try your username with different numbers that you can remeber.
Hmmm. That sucks. Maybe tri Carnosaur101 or soemthing like that?
Good job. You did a good job woth the creepiness.
that's all fine and dandy, but if the damn wiki would let me use my username without "this username is already in use" continually popping up, that'd be great.
Great job. I want to see what happens next.
Oh, I know a lot about them. (I have a friend who is absolutely obsessed) I just don't think that non-supernatural creatures work well with the genre. I mean, goblins, ghouls, and the slenderman have an element of uncertainty about them. They are unpredictable, and have paranormal abilities that a designed to creep us out. Whereas, a lion or T. rex is an animal. They can be unpredictable, and quite scary, but they don't have those supernatural abilities that make us fear the SCP's. Also, with actual animals, they follow their instincts, and won't attack something unless they have to, whereas Slenderman will actively hunt down humans, and kill them just because he felt like it.
It is because of this that I feel that dinosaurs and creepy pasta don't blend well.
Ooooo, good job Carnosaur. I'll post mine here in a few minutes.
Great story Silver Falcon. I don't really know much anout creepypastas either, except they're supposed to be creepy.
Good story, I really like it. It also was fairly interesting for me to see the dinosaur that I used for the "Gentle Giants" category, portrayed in such a different light.
Nice find Noah, try PMing Chris Picard about the news.
Agreed carno. Essentially what I did too.
I was talking to Sci-Fi King.
