HIPHOPANANOMUS - That was a very fun story to read! I greatly enjoyed the pack of Giganotosaurus working together to thin-out the herds in order to corral a single target. Thank you very much for presenting this to us! :)

UTAHRAPTOR519 -Very interesting! I greatly enjoyed the emphasis you placed on the family unit within your story. It's extremely sad that Fire lost his mother! Thank you ever so much for sharing this with us! :)

ALLOTITAN - Oh, what a very neat animal! I'd never before heard of this creature until I read this post - very compelling! I'm curious as to whether or not it was a true abelisaur; the overall profile seems right, but there seems to be too little information to support a definitive conclusion. In any event, that you ever so much for sharing this with us! :)

Something RealDinosaurs ForumA Speculation on Large Theropod Feathers

ARICCIO - Hmm, you've presented a very interesting hypothesis! I happen to believe that you're theroy holds a good deal of water; it's a common enough feature in many organisms to shed various dermal features during various times of the season. Of course, I happen to enjoy the the thought of the larger theropods possessing coverings of feathers. The image of such a creature would be both magnificient and terrifying - just look at the Terror Bird known as Titanis! Regardless, this was a very neat topic! Thank you ever so much for presenting this to us! :)

The Baby Raptor that Alan Grant was holding is my best guess. Circle of Life and All. :P

I don't think we can definatively say whether or not its an abelisaur, but I can understand why it is classified as such.

It is an abelisaur that lived in Africa during the mid to late Cretaceous period. It was discovered to be a new species in 2013. I did a report when it was first found. Here is an article: Link

Looks like an Abelisaur. Interesting creature.

Lord VaderDinosaurs ForumConcerning the "horror mouth" and "snake eater"

I could see why. We aren't complete assholes, and Rex vs Spino is pretty well done around here, so nothing to worry about from that.

GondolendianDinosaurs ForumConcerning the "horror mouth" and "snake eater"

Oh believe me, I know. I regularly posted on another Jurassic Park message board back when Jurassic Park III hit, and the debates that raged over that scene were the stuff of legend. I think if I tried to wade into one of those discussions nowadays I'd probably blow my blood vessels.

Wasn't here when that happened, so I don't have much input on the subject.

Welcome to the forumns though, and please enjoy your stay. (also, if you do stay, just avoid rex vs. spino, it's never ends well.)

Yeah I thought so, it definitely has the build of a Abelisaur. :)

That we do not. Conversation over.

That said, as Rex Fan said, thanks for posting this, it did bring some clarification to a topic I had completely forgot about but now remember better than my high school.

Some good, some bad.

Oh well, getting off topic and we don't wanna do that to a potential member :)

I'm glad you posted this thread.

Well, your welcome if you want to.

PS- Left a comment on your site. Pretty professional looking, I'll say that :)

If she did find any signs of it, I'd be pretty impressed. (And a little worried. Would that mean I inadvertently willed it into being by creating it? Am...am I...God?)

I'm still on the fence as to whether I want to hang around here or not. We shall see.
