Nice story as usual. But one thing, what makes you say lions have a stronger bite tan an allosaurus cause that has been disproven.

see

THE MUSCLE POWERD BITE OF ALLOSAURS.

im not shouting at you, but the total is all caps.

Good fight, was rooting for Nano-T. But I understand that there's almost no, way that a Nannotyrannus could beat a fully grown Suchomimus.

@Matt_Munoz

You don't know the half of it.

It was SOOO bad. I mean, the visuals were great and everything, but the narration (if you could call it that) and dialouge was absolutely terrible. It was all potty humor and cheesy lines.

"I think I just stepped in some fear."

Give me a break....

MattJurassic World ForumThe Analysis of What Could Have Been the 3rd Jurassic Park Book

You seem to have hit upon one of the loose ends of the novel, which was always up in the air. It is true, especially in the Lost World where the author seems to let the reader hint that DX is similar to the kind of encephalitis affecting the mainland, and that the mainland dinos are still living. I would say a probably distribution for the dinos would be Central America to tip of South America given a probable distribution. Normal distribution for the animals might peter out in Northern Mexico given that it ends up too close to America there and no way these animals might pass there undetected.

I did calculations on JPLegacy about mainland animal distribution a while ago...

Hypsilophodon: 26-27

Othnielia: 19-23

Velociraptor: 14-20

Dilophosaurus: 9-12

Compsognathus: 45-65

Ceradactyls: 10-14

This is me using any animal small enough to escape and get on the boats without being noticed theoritically. I include Ceradactyls in there because at the end of the first JP novel 1 was missing from the count despite all of them being in the aviary-leading me to believe the aviary was breached. Also, These numbers are the animals growth about 10-15 years after the JP incident in my calculations.

Monsters resurrected covered over dinosaurs as well, it portrayed Acrocanthosaurus alright, but megalania(giant prehistoric lizard) it showed as an oversized landshark, killing everything it came across. The spino episode wasn't too bad; with the exception of the Carcharodontosaurus section( it most likely didn't use the "slapping" offensive it was portrayed as posessing. A lot of inaccuracies regarding size as well. Rugops was more like 18 feet - thirty feet is assuming the holotype was a juvenile, which it probably wasn't. It's teeth were small, it's skull was horrifically weak when dealing with high pressues in the skull or lateral torsion, all which points to a scavenger; i wonder why Jack horner didn't take those points into consideration when thinking Tyrannosaurus was a scavenger?

With that said, Valley of the T. rex was hands down one of the most horrific attempts at a scientific outlook on Tyrannosaurus being a scavenger. For one, no terrestrial carnivore to ever exist on the fact of our little blue planet has scavenged 100% the entirety of its life. An animal designed for that would go extinct within a few generations. Secondly,. the tibula being longer then the fibula = slow runner hypothesis is bogus. Horses have this, and can reach speeds of 35 mph. Thirdly, an animal with an acute sense of smell doesn't mean its a scavenger. Smell is a vital part in hunting, but i guess he glazed over that.

He stated he wanted people to think differently, that the beloved Tyrannosaurus wasn't just a killing maching; and he's right. But, he went at it way to wrong. It's safe to say tyrannosaurus killed its prey, as we have evidence of prey animals escaping the attack(hadrosaur bones show signs of Tyrannosaur teeth, wounds evidently healed over) But, it most certainly wouldn't pass up a carcass when it saw it.

Going back to Monsters Resurrected, Spinosaurus in fact probably could pick up a rugops, but not shake it like it did. That was based on the assumption Spinosaurs killed like crocodiles, mainly because the skull is similar. Tests conducted on Spinosaurus' reconstructed skull show that it's skull would have multiple hairline fractures if it killed like it was portrayed to.

The Spino was too damn big. To deny that would be to deny that we live in planet Earth. That Spino was way too big, there's no way around. Carcharodontosaurus was every bit as big as Spino if you ask me, and Rugops was 30 feet long, more than half Spino's length (if you ask me). Nothing can pick up something more than half it's length and shake it around so easily.

Nice fight, but as has been stated before spelling and grammar are huge. I don't want to spend a minute trying to figure out a paragraph. I want to just read the fight and imagine what's happening.

Haha the scarcharadontosaurus was to skinny.
