If you may have noticed, I recently went on rant in the status board, About Dinosaurs brain size and such.

Note this before you continue. I am not a Paleontologist. Nor are you (unless you can prove it by degree, If you Can, I apoligise). This discussion is more so an Idea/Theory Of me Grasping at straws  Trying to Explain things with what Knowledge I have.

Don't take it seriously Kids.

-----

T-Rex.

The King of the Dinosaurs Kingdom.

Brain the size of a walnut.

Your brain's bigger then that. You must be so much more evolved than that Lizard.

WRONG.

Y'see.

Us humans have had about 65 million years or more to evolve. That's longer then any of our Life times.

As Humans, We are Arrogant. We think we are the top species to ever roam the planet.

"Humans are a Young species" -Octomus Prime.

We are but still small children compared to the universe.

"BUT PADEN WAIT!!!"

"What do you want now Johhnny the Dino Nerd?"

"DINOSAURS ARE DUMBER THEN US, LOOK SMALL BRAINS, NO BIG BUILDING!"

"Johnny, Learn real English first. Secondly, I may be able to answer that."

For, Dinosaurs lived on earth for Billions and Billions of years.

They are so complexed...

*Leans foreward*

We can't even comprehend it.

Dinosaurs have small brians, Why?

Well, My theory is, That, They had them because, Unlike humans, Dinosaurs don't need to learn everything about their life around them.

Dinosaurs were so evolved, That, They had developed the ability, To store Mainly only Instinct.

Humans have little to Nil Instinct once we are born. It fades away after awhile.

One of your Instincts is to Cry to get attention.

We have so little instincts, That, Our brains have grown complexly To Not rely on Instinct only. But, TO process Dreams, Hopes, Memories...

I may be pitching dinosaurs out there to be clsoe to Cold Computers, But that's essentaily what they are.

They have an Instinct for almost eveything.

When they come across something they don't have an Instinct for, They simply Let there limited mind come up with ideas to beat it.

These creatures are Adapted, Intwined to their Enviroment.

Instead of Evolving to Create an Society like us.

They evolved to Survive.

This is just the surface.

Of something great.

This actually makes real sense! Why had I never thought of this before? Also I like how you add a little humor to it.

Also worth noting is that parts of the brain control and interpret different senses, so for T. rex To have a large brain really isn't surprising, as it is theorized to have extremely high senses of sight, smell, and hearing (And possibly vibration sensitive feet, aka Ear-Feet).

Here, have a waffle (-'.')-#

Pretty damn good points Paden. They didn't need to learn about the world around them, they just needed to survive.

When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Tell life I don't want you're damn lemons, and then squeeze them into life's eyes!
