Much interesting indeed, I mean T-Rex would have done better with pack hunters, despite what people say about t "not needing any."
Interesting find, a while ago I found other evidence supporting this, but I can't remember it...
TYRANT KING - I know! I know! I'm preparing a cordial response as we speak. However, I wanted to congratulate my debate partner on a job well done! :)
Lord of the Spinosaurs, I'll add on to your hypothesis with the pubescent juveniles that were forced to leave their birth pack made their own renegade pack until they were large enough to live alone, or were too aggressive to deal with the sibling rivalry, because even though they would be going through their hyper-growth stage, they would still be vulnerable at certain ages/sizes compared to their parents and other adults. Living in a teen pack would provide safety in numbers. Not even a fully-grown Nanotyrannus would pick on 3-4 teenage T.rexes.
Why do you say this?
You are supposed to go against and say sonething to show that your animal(achillabator) is better then austraraptor. Not congratulate their post.
I believe that T. Rex lived in a small family group with two parents and some juveniles, having an all out pack with like seven adults would starve the pack.
UCMP 118742 - How very neat! If this animal received its injury during its middle adulthood and survived for it to heal, then I would definately say it makes an extremely strong case for the theory that T-Rex dwelled in packs! This is an incredibly interesting bit of information you've presented! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! :)
LORD OF THE SPINOSAURS - Wow! That was an excellent presentation! Fantastically done! :)
Nice battle, this one might have actually happend in real life. Anyways, I was routing for Spinosaurus of course. I disagree with your spinosaurus size, I agree with the estimate stated above except for the fact that I think Spinosuarus was 10 tons. Then again, you said this individual.
T-rex wins!!! Nice fight!
Well, i liked the fight but i disagree with Spinosaurus' size, i believe that Spino is 16 ft tall, 50 ft long and 6 tons! But, awesome fight!
Always happy whenever a new T.rex skeleton is shown to the public.
DinoBoy brings up a very critical question. King Kong could have still been under the care of its parents when it sustained the fracture, and I'd really like to know how pronounced the healed fracture is. It would give a good indication on when it was sustained.
I would like seeing it in the film.
^There's gonna be 160 species in the final game (202 if you count DLC). If you need more information, PM @DinoSteve93. He's a developer for the game.
This may or may not be late but, Do we have a general idea of how many dinosaurus are going to be in this game? or how large this game is going to be? Because it is my birthday and I am getting a computer, so I was wondering this so if I buy this I can run it.
Austroraptor
Austroraptor was one of the largest Dromaeosaurs, in fact, it might have been the second largest only beaten by Utahraptor. At about 6 meters long and 2 meters high at the hips it was by far the largest Dromaeosaur that lived in South America and the southern hemisphere. Austroraptor was also one of the mosat unique Dromaeosaurs for many reasons. First of all, it had relatively short arms compared its body size unlike other more well-known Dromaeosaurs like Velociraptor and Deinonychus. Second of all it had a much longer skull more like that of a Troodontid than a traditional Dromaeosaur, possibly suggesting a weaker bite-force and a higher intelligence. Austroraptor also had very long legs suggesting that it was a good runner unlike other Dromaeosaurs which had short legs and could not run very fast. Although like all Dromaeosaurs it had that famous sickle-claw probably used for stabbing the neck area of its prey. Austroraptor also might have hunted in packs too. The diet of Austroraptor is not known for sure but there are many theories. One theory suggests that it was an active hunter hunting large prey like Ornithopods, though its short arms and pointed snout do not support this. Another theory suggests that it was a scavenger, though its long legs and pointed snout do not support this. Another theory suggests that it was a fish eater and it hunted fish, though its short arms and long legs do not support this. The last theory suggests that it hunted small prey like lizards and mammals, but its large size does not support this. It is possible that its diet was a combination of some or all of these.
Thank you! That's a very interesting find! :)
That's why it might not be clear evidence, but I personally don't see why it being saved by it's parents would exclude it being a pack animal, as it is, small family groups seem like the most accurate option for Tyrannosaurus packs.
how old was he when he got the injury? could be that the mother tended to him and protected him well enough
This is a very nice find UCMP. I always knew they hunted in packs.
Little bits and pieces I forgot to add in the original post: King Kong is actually the first not-purely-artificial Tyrannosaurus specimen to be shown in Europe and with 65% of the skeleton, one of the most complete Tyrannosaurs to date. It is also one of the very few Tyrannosaurus specimen including arms.
Very interesting, could you please link an article or something to support this? I don't find anything.

I would prefer a carnoturaus. That would be awesome
never heard of a crichtonsaurus
EDIT: looked it up. its not a bad choice. we need more ankylosaurs
TYRANT KING - Ah! Okay! I shall await my debate partner's first post! :)
Yes it is great!
fyi yo. Guys are supposed to debate face to face. Like have a conversation. But a debate instead.
KAIJUJIRA - Excellent! I'd much rather the trailer be attached to Interstellar - as that would mean we'd get to see it sooner! However, I can wait until the next Hobbit film! Thank you very much for locating and sharing this news with us! :)
CARNOSAUR - WOW! That was an exceptionally fun battle! I greatly enjoyed the Tyrannosaurus cameo in honor of MR.HAPPY9097 - that was extremely thoughtful of you. Thank you so very much for taking the time to create and share this with us! :)
ULTRA PREDATOR - Hahaha! How very neat! I greatly enjoyed your story - keep it up! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! :)
TYRANT KING - I meant to ask, is my entry satisfactory for this competition? If not, I'll make whatever amendments you believe need to be effected. :)
LORD OF THE SPINOSAURS - Oh, how terrible! I'm so sorry your work didn't post correctly! I've had that problem as well - and it's utterly bloody infuriating! Regardless, I can't wait to see what you've in store for us; I just know it will be excellent! :)
Dinoboy22,
Other than a couple of canceled TV shows what else has he been doing lately? Whether he wants to be known as Alan Grant forever or not is moot when you're an actor that just wants work.
Besides the legacy has already been instilled-- Audiences will recognize him as Alan Grant long after his time.
im excited and dissapointed at the same time. i really want that trailer sometime earlier
Great battle! I was rooting for Megaraptor.
