FIGHT!!!!
A Tyrannosaurus is sleeping during the night, she then heres noises. She looks over and sees her Tyrannosaurus chicks examining a nocturnal troodon. She shrieks at the Troodon, signalising for it to go away. But the troodon does not seem to want to eat the chicks, he seems to want to get by, as if he is retreating from something. The Tyrannosaurus shrieks at it again, it just wants to get by, suddenly it makes its move and runs right past the chicks and the mother, and fleas into the woods at full speed. She shrieks for the third time as a warning to stay away, but back from the direction the Troodon came from, she hears something, another shriek, about a mile away. Though this makes no sense, it is not the mating season. She shrieks for one last time, this time out of curiosity, and its answered yet again. Then she realizes it, what ever is calling back to her is no Tyrannosaurus, its something bigger than her. Something giant, something...giga.
The next day the Tyrannosaurus mother goes down to a lake with her chicks to get a drink. Her chicks usually prowl the shoreline in search of dead fish or small mammals that have scurried out of there holes. Her chicks find a dead fish, but a Dromaeosaurus already at the fish carcass claims his prize and dashes into the woods, and of course, the chicks follow the Dromaeosaurus. Soon after a herd of Pachycephalosaurus comes out to drink, though some eat grass and look for dead fish, while males headbutt and flush blood into their domes. Then, they all come to a halt, they know the Tyrannosaurus is there, its a usual site in the morning. But they know something else is there, they dash towards the Tyrannosaurus as if that is what they would rather see than whatever is in the woods. They race by her, this finally distracts the Tyrannosaurus from her drink. With such a huge body, Tyrannosaurus might have spent minutes drinking water to get enough to survive. She makes a faint grunt in response to the passing herd. She then hears a cry, she recognizes the cry. Its the cry of a baby Tyrannosaur.
She then dashes into the woods. With a really good sense of smell, tyrannosaurs know exactly when and where something was. She follows the scent into the woods, running as fast as she possibly can. She then sees her chicks, some are dead, others injured, and a few still alive, so frightened their even running away from their mother. She then sees a Torosaurus carcass, she can tell that her biggest enemy was no match for whatever killed it. Then, rising from behind the carcass of the Torosaurus is another predator, this predator is something the mother has never seen before, and for the first time in her life she is scared. Let the battle begin...
The other Predator is of course Giganotosaurus, that is not in a pack. At first the two predators shriek at each other to solve the conflict andto avoid injury, but this is not enough. The Giganotosaurus is the first one to make a move, he charges at the Tyrannosaurus and bite her right on her face. But the attack is not as effective as Giganotosaurus hoped for it to be because Tyrannosaurus has an extremely large skull, possibly the largest skull ever, even larger than Spinosaurus, so the attack has little effect on Tyrannosaurus. The Tyrannosaurus shrieks in terror, she shakes the blood off, then she charges. But the Giganotosaurus dodges her attack, and then bites her arm. With little effort he poles the arm off, then, he eats it...
Tyrannosaurus yet again shrieks in terror, she knows that if she can get just one bite on Giganotosaurus she can kill him, but as she is recovering, the Giganotosaurus takes another shot at it again and bites her in the hip region. She yet again shrieks, she regrets messing with thsi new predator. After she is done recovering Giganotosaurus charges, they crash into one another, but Giganotosaurus being much heavier pins Tyrannosaurus to a tree. Tyrannosaurus can hear the birds and pterosaurs chirp and squack as the fly out of the tree. Giganotosaurus with his relatively large arms scratches Tyrannosaurus on the chest, then he backs away. And yet again as Tyrannosaurus is recovering, he attacks her near her shoulder region. Then the Tyrannosaurus backs away, telling that Giganotosaurus that he has won what is rightfully his, the Torosaurus carcass and the baby Tyrannosaur carcasses. All hope seems to be lost for the mother Tyrannosaurus. Or is there still hope?
As the Giganotosaurus approaches the Torosaurus carcass, the Tyrannosaurus with its relativily large brain to bodymass ratio realizes that this would be a good time to strike Giaganotosaurus, it's now or never. Will the mother Tyrannosaurus reclaim the crown as her species being the king of the dinosaurs? Her heart rate is high and she has more adrenaline in her blood than she has ever had before in her life. Then, she charges, the Giganotosaurus notices her but it is too late to react. The Tyrannosaurus bites down into the flesh of Giganotosaurus. Her jaws and her large teeth crush bone, burst hundreds of blood vessels, and rip through muscle. The Giganotosaurus knows that this might just be the end of him...
The Giganotosaurus trys to escape the jaws of death, but no matter how hard he tries he cannot. But finally the Tyrannosaurus lets go of Giganotosaurus, she might have just spaed his life. The Tyrannosaurus shrieks at the Giganotosaurus, he hisses back. The Giganotosaurus retreats towards the shoreline, as he gets a drink, a Deinosuchus watches him and starts to approach, it knows he is weak, so he keeps his distance. If he wishes to survive he must scavenge off of his new enemy or join a pack, he is to weak to hunt for prey. As for the Tyrannosaurus, her wounds will heal, and loosing an arm is not a big deal for a Tyrannosaurus. She walks over to the Torosaurus carcass and starts to eat it, her surving chicks join her, she is glad to know that some of them might have a future in the wild, but danger is never far around the corner.
The winner is... TYRANNOSAURUS!!!!!!
The Tyrannosaurus with its large bite force, large teeth, and intelligence won the battle against South Americas largest predator, Giganotosaurus. She reclaimed the crown for her species as the King of the Dinosaurs. Although a lot of the battle was luck for the Tyrannosaurus, shes lucky she did not encounter a pack of Giganotosaurus and she is also lucky that the Giganotosaurus did not finish her off. So in my opinion it would be 50/50.
Anyways this is my first Dinosaur versus Dinosaur post. I worked really hard on it and I actually had to write it twice because the first time I wrote it I was not logged in so it deleted my post and that obviously made me really mad. I'm sorry if you think to much of it is not the battle itself or if you think its to long, I cant blame you because it is pretty long and a lot of it is not the battle itself. Also the reason there is no pictures is because my computer cannot upload pictures on Scified posts for some reason. Anyways let me know what you thought of the post and who you were routing for and who you think would win. Thanks!
There is no such thing as a pure predator. A meat-eater is eit

MemberTyrannosaurus RexOct-23-2014 6:34 PMNice fight. I was rooting for the King, but that's no surprise as I always do.
Regarding your final paragraph. For the site logging you out when you were writing the fight, the solution is simple; Write the fight in a word document, then copy and paste it to the discussion box. Worst case scenario, you'll have to add the paragraphs afterward.
The battle was good. I have no problem with it being more story and less of a battle than other fights, it was still enjoyable. Not every fight has to be purely bloodshed and action. Backstory is nice.
As for the images, doesn't really matter if you have them for a fight or not, we know what most dinosaurs looked like.
Jack of all trades. Master of none

MemberTriceratopsOct-23-2014 10:55 PMThis was written extremely well, Lord of the Spinosaurs!! Whenever I read a Rex vs Giga fight, they are, at the very least, exciting. Yours is no excpetion to this trend, and I want to read more of your fights in the future!
