I did mention a T-Rex Spino hybrid shockwave (if you did read it). It is a good idea.
ReplyLord VaderJurassic World ForumWhat could be scarier than T.Rex and Spinosaurs? Raptorex? Jun 3, 2013
Sorry for the delayed response, haven't looked at this discussion.
I could see Metriacanthosaurus in JP4 on Nublar. I saw JP and watched the names of the dinosaurs Nedry was stealing.
The discussion has nothing to do with the accuracy of the dinosaurs. This is what could be Scarier than Rex and Spino (a Rex-Spino hybrid maybe). If you want to do the most accurate predator, start a new discussion. As you say, there will be diehard Rex fans in there if you do.
Replyx_paden_xJurassic World ForumWhy would you go back to Isla Nublar? Why would Trevorrow go back?Jun 3, 2013
correction site b is the birth place, they only had the eggs they had tested and were sure would hatch sent to nublar *ian notes this in TLW book and JP book* also they cant escape theres 120 miles in-between site a and the mainland, the pterradons were on site a yes, but they were in an aviary like in jp 3...
also in jp 2 the new reporter says that the united states and costa rica are guarding the island not wanting a repeat of the san diego incident, we then see a very impressing shot of naval destroyers and warships escorting the ship back to shore, this is also how alan and the Kirby's were able to be rescued so quickly, the fleet was on stand by near by, why they didn't see the small speed boat is probably due to it being made out of a wood frame and plastic, couldn't be picked up by radar...
also you guys seem to have this idea that nuking the islands would solve all the problems, well it wouldn't, first of all theres a third island (there is 5 in total) isla de muturea thats very close to both of the sites, nuking it would result in nuclear radiation and the shockwave from it would tear the island apart, also nuclear fallout would probably hit costa rica and kill millions of people, and seeing how colin wants to spawn off 3 more movies, bombing them wouldn't do crap to help the franchise....
but its guaranteed that we'll see biosyn in this next film, They will probably be the main antagonist of the story...

So what about the raptor from the first one? It hatched on site A at the beginning.
Replyx_paden_xJurassic Park ForumFacilities of Site B Jun 3, 2013
actually the filmed this scene (jp3) in hollywood near a lake of sorts....
also the only similarities are the fact they include dinosaurs, site b is were they bred the dinos, they had them shipped to nublar when old enough in egg development, they only shipped the ones they were sure would survive. As far as i can see thats all there is...

Thanks guys. Glad you see my point and understand where I am coming from with this.
ReplyRex Fan 684Jurassic World ForumMy JP4 IdeaJun 3, 2013
I can't take complete credit for this. I read an article on the Walking With Dinosaurs website that stated something like this and I really liked it.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTitanoboa in JP4?Jun 3, 2013
Yeah, t-rex90 > has a point though. This is a movie about dinosaurs. Contemporaries of dinosaurs are one thing, but Titanaboa woud be a bit of a stretch. Still cool though.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumHybrid dinosaursJun 3, 2013
I think it's entirely possible. Hybrids do occur in the wild, grolars and some others. It could be really possible in say, Madagascar. A situation where a very small population of animals breeds with an other. Perhaps that's how Majungatholus came to be. Same goes for islands that are known to have dwarfs. Hateg Island for example in Europe. The species would have to be very close thought. Tarbosaurus and Tyrannosaurus along with Torosaurus and Triceratops could probably breed.

Yeah, just thought someone ought to point it out.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013
Sounds like a good season. Therizinosaurus should be good and I'm glad Ceratosaurus is in it. He is one of my favorites. I think Daspletosaurus would be a good one to have. Maybe him vs Tarascosaurus or something.
ReplyJeditkacheffDinosaurs ForumTitanoboa in JP4?Jun 3, 2013
I totally agree rex fan I never meant it to wind up being the antagonist just sort of being like the raptors in like all the other Jurassic parks :D
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013
I think yours would be better, but maybe.
ReplyDinoFightsDinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013
It's possible. If not, then I think it would be cool to see your analysis!
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013
Aw. Maybe after season 4 you could have a fantasy season... Like V. Rex vs K. Gigantus.
ReplyDinoFightsDinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013
No, it will not. It would be a mismatch for any other dinosaur, even topping Spinosaurus' length by at least 10 feet. Plus, it is a nomen dubium.

Just out of curiosity... Will Kelmayisaurus Gigantus be in the large?
ReplyBrontosaurus>ApatosaurusDinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013

ReplyPhilosiraptorDinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013
Cool. So when does this start?
ReplyDinoFightsDinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013
Monoclonius has been replaced by Medusaceratops.
ReplyPhilosiraptorDinosaurs ForumDinoFights Season 2 ScheduleJun 3, 2013
Monoclonius is too similar to Styracosaurus. Maybe replace it with Medusaceratops?

They don't look like it. In fact, Jurassic Park 3's environment has more similarities to Isla Nublar than it does to The Lost World's island. It might just be because of Kauai.
ReplyjurassicparkourDinosaurs ForumFavourite TyrannosaurJun 3, 2013
Labocania , from Baja California (I'm Mexican). Or possibly alioramus.

ReplyjurassicparkourJurassic World ForumWhy would you go back to Isla Nublar? Why would Trevorrow go back?Jun 3, 2013
Nublar is the birthplace of the JP dinos, more or less. Maybe the dinos escape before Jp4 (think JP3 pteranodons, and maybe some others) and a team of scientists goes to investigate, then a whole ton of problems happen as they realize that someone (biosyn and lew Dodgson) are taking the dinosaurs off and letting them loose. Then the team gets recalled to the mainland, there's a battle between dinosaurs and humans, but the dinosaurs lose and are destroyed. Then maybe the military goes and nukes the islands, thinking that this will eliminate the dinosaurs once and for all.
Except, biosyn still has some eggs and hatchling on the mainland...

It originally was in the large division but it got replaced. Then I decided it should appear, but put it in the medium division.

Robotics aren't the most trustworthy thing to give killing claws and a mind of there own to, IE portal, i robot etc. ALSO were making way more breakthroughs with technology that it'll be much easier just to clone them... i my self prefer grants view of technology and how alien it is... i prefer the real thing, not just some cold mechanical creation i want a heart beat, a feeling...
Replyx_paden_xJurassic World ForumWhy would you go back to Isla Nublar? Why would Trevorrow go back?Jun 3, 2013
I've stated this before might as well state it again... its a small theory but its very good and could be used...
isla nublar is volcanic upthrust of rock *hammond said this* it was originally a volcano *oscar died in the geothermal power plant* Many of its magma chambers that were above ground *much like caves only bigger and deeper* were there when the accident happened *the matinance tunnels were probably near some for the geothermal power plant was one of the magma chambers still active it fed into some lower in the island* My theory that ties into this is that the dinos like most animals can sense danger and fear, they heard the planes coming and sensed danger, they then hid in the magma chambers AND the matinince tunnels, the tunnels are hidden and made of strong concrete, they would've survived the bombing the same with the tunnels being carved from pure rock and limestone and stuff *not good with geology* After the firestorm they probably emerged and started repopulating, with the shipment of food of the boat having been there the food lasted them until some of the vegetation began to grow back, *note the boat only came once every week, they would've stocked up enough food to probably last them a month, just in case*
With the belief that the bombing killed them all off, the island went un-checked the dinosaurs flourished and prospered
"you can never observe nature with out changing it"
given that in jp 2 and 3 that human interaction probably effected they're evolving rate, the dinos on nublar are probably more vicious and intelligent not having human interaction come in and alter them... take all of the carnivores from every jp... times their intelligence by that of a raptor 9 times fold, times all of there atributes by 9 or anything you want... These dinos on nublar are hell spawns that we have no idea what the extent of its too...
i believe colin caught onto this somewhere... HOW ELSE would they survive????!?!?!?!
Thoughts?

Although I like titanaboa and thought the documentary of it was really cool, I'm going to have to say no. This is Jurassic Park not a scifi original snake movie like Anaconda, Boa, Python, etc.

Replyshockwave344Dinosaurs ForumHybrid dinosaursJun 3, 2013
what about a spino and t-rex hybrid, anything is possible.
ReplyMakaveli7Dinosaurs ForumHybrid dinosaursJun 3, 2013
Wholphins have happened naturally and in captivity, blue-humpbacks only occur in the wild, ligers used to happen in the wild when tiger and asiatic lion habitats overlapped, grolar bears happen in the wild and captivity, and only one Asian-African elephant survived birth without deformities, but got an infection or something. So in response to the second comment, the only one that hasn't happened naturally is the elephant. The rest have happened multiple times in the wild.

Maybe. It's possible but boas don't attack very fast. They're constrictors. Possible though
