MemberCompsognathusJun-01-2013 2:04 PMHave to agree with Jetson21. While the first is uplifting and almost spiritual, I appreciate how dark the Lost World was. I like how the experience after the "accident in the park" made Ian Malcolm a much more complex character.

MemberCompsognathusJun-16-2013 5:43 AMThe first is not only my favourite JP film, but my favourite film, period. The story, the characters, the dino's, everything just comes together perfectly, not to mention the music is out of this world. Every time I watch it I feel like a little kid again. Having said that, The Lost World for some reason is the most nostalgic of the 3 to me, which is saying something considering the first 2 were directed by the king of nostalgia. I dunno what it is, but when I see that Rex stomping through that backyard, I see my wildest childhood dreams coming true. JP3 was good, suffered from a weaker story and for some reason the CGI isn't as good. Having said that, still a very entertaining film

MemberCompsognathusJun-30-2013 7:39 PMMine is definatly the third. There has been a lot of hate about that one, but i like it.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJun-30-2013 7:53 PMI personally like the third, just not as much as the first or second (why couldn't Spielberg have directed that one too?).

MemberCompsognathusJun-30-2013 7:56 PMYeah. The third was certainly a good movie, but the first one was just a classic and beats just about every other movie out there. The second was good too. The reason why I think the third one is not as good is because the first two were based off the books. The third was based off of nothing really.

MemberCompsognathusJun-30-2013 8:19 PMIt was fun. Got to stay up late, eat junk-food, and watch some great movies, haha. One of my friends had never seen any of the movies. It was a real eye-opener for him.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJun-30-2013 8:27 PMI have a friend that hasn't seen any of them too. He doesn't seem to care for the movies though. I'm the kind who is smart, and loves the science fiction dinosaur movies, and my friend is the type who is good in school and enjoys T.V. shows (mostly cartoons). He doesn't seem to care much for anything Sci-Fie.

MemberCompsognathusJun-30-2013 8:29 PMHe should at least watch the first one. It may be sci-fi, but it is just a classic overall.

MemberCompsognathusJul-01-2013 1:00 AMI really enjoyed JP3 like how in JP3 the raptors seem to have the biggest part and i didn't really enjoy JP2 but I do like the cliff part in JP2. In JP1 it sets up the entire series and i really like that and if no one like the first one they might as well not like any one of the JP movies because its what started it all. So JP3 and JP1 are my favorites.
