MemberCompsognathusJun-03-2013 1:09 PMIf we do go to Isla Nublar in the fourth instalment, how would you go back to Isla Nublar? No we are not going to do this dumb rescuing someone scheme, we have to think of something clever!
I was thinking of something like a volcano erupts on Isla Nublar and poses a threat to the animals. InGen quickly develops a device that will stop the volcano from occurring. When they get there, they try to lour the animals away from the volcano. They send in a team to the volcano with high tech suits to protect them from being fried. One of the men's rope suddenly breaks and the team tries to find a way to save him. The other's manage to stop the volcano, as they deploy the bomb. The three manages to escape the volcano but accidentally went in a T.Rex's nesting ground, as several T.Rex try to kill the three. They manage to go through a Triceratops herd as one T.Rex battles the Alpha Triceratops.
There are many other ways to go to Isla Nublar for a purpose. How about we find out that humans are becoming more sick, so they decide to go to Isla Nublar to find a prehistoric plant which is able to heal humans. When they get their, they are jeopardized by dinosaurs and another evil team is trying to find the cure as well.
It's up to you, just let me know what you guys think of how people should go to Isla Nublar for some reason. Let me know!

MemberCompsognathusJun-03-2013 3:00 PMI've stated this before might as well state it again... its a small theory but its very good and could be used...
isla nublar is volcanic upthrust of rock *hammond said this* it was originally a volcano *oscar died in the geothermal power plant* Many of its magma chambers that were above ground *much like caves only bigger and deeper* were there when the accident happened *the matinance tunnels were probably near some for the geothermal power plant was one of the magma chambers still active it fed into some lower in the island* My theory that ties into this is that the dinos like most animals can sense danger and fear, they heard the planes coming and sensed danger, they then hid in the magma chambers AND the matinince tunnels, the tunnels are hidden and made of strong concrete, they would've survived the bombing the same with the tunnels being carved from pure rock and limestone and stuff *not good with geology* After the firestorm they probably emerged and started repopulating, with the shipment of food of the boat having been there the food lasted them until some of the vegetation began to grow back, *note the boat only came once every week, they would've stocked up enough food to probably last them a month, just in case*
With the belief that the bombing killed them all off, the island went un-checked the dinosaurs flourished and prospered
"you can never observe nature with out changing it"
given that in jp 2 and 3 that human interaction probably effected they're evolving rate, the dinos on nublar are probably more vicious and intelligent not having human interaction come in and alter them... take all of the carnivores from every jp... times their intelligence by that of a raptor 9 times fold, times all of there atributes by 9 or anything you want... These dinos on nublar are hell spawns that we have no idea what the extent of its too...
i believe colin caught onto this somewhere... HOW ELSE would they survive????!?!?!?!
Thoughts?

MemberCompsognathusJun-03-2013 5:03 PMNublar is the birthplace of the JP dinos, more or less. Maybe the dinos escape before Jp4 (think JP3 pteranodons, and maybe some others) and a team of scientists goes to investigate, then a whole ton of problems happen as they realize that someone (biosyn and lew Dodgson) are taking the dinosaurs off and letting them loose. Then the team gets recalled to the mainland, there's a battle between dinosaurs and humans, but the dinosaurs lose and are destroyed. Then maybe the military goes and nukes the islands, thinking that this will eliminate the dinosaurs once and for all.
Except, biosyn still has some eggs and hatchling on the mainland...

MemberCompsognathusJun-03-2013 9:25 PMcorrection site b is the birth place, they only had the eggs they had tested and were sure would hatch sent to nublar *ian notes this in TLW book and JP book* also they cant escape theres 120 miles in-between site a and the mainland, the pterradons were on site a yes, but they were in an aviary like in jp 3...
also in jp 2 the new reporter says that the united states and costa rica are guarding the island not wanting a repeat of the san diego incident, we then see a very impressing shot of naval destroyers and warships escorting the ship back to shore, this is also how alan and the Kirby's were able to be rescued so quickly, the fleet was on stand by near by, why they didn't see the small speed boat is probably due to it being made out of a wood frame and plastic, couldn't be picked up by radar...
also you guys seem to have this idea that nuking the islands would solve all the problems, well it wouldn't, first of all theres a third island (there is 5 in total) isla de muturea thats very close to both of the sites, nuking it would result in nuclear radiation and the shockwave from it would tear the island apart, also nuclear fallout would probably hit costa rica and kill millions of people, and seeing how colin wants to spawn off 3 more movies, bombing them wouldn't do crap to help the franchise....
but its guaranteed that we'll see biosyn in this next film, They will probably be the main antagonist of the story...
