Thanks. If it was, then perhaps the Spinosaurs originated in N. America with Acro or something like it, then they migrated to S. America and then Africa via land bridges. One way it could have gone at least.

And Rex Fan, your "stretched though" would be pretty accurate I think. Acrocanthosaurus may have been an evolutionary forerunner of early Spinosauridae.

I want that deluxe edition really bad now. :) Dont have the money though. Any who, I found a t-shirt idea that you could include in the Site-B pack. Staff T-Shirt
Hopefully the deaths are a little more dramatic than the 1st.

I hope if they do make a JP4 that it goes back to it's roots and blows everyones socks off. I hope by doing that we will see a new, probably temporary, spark in companies making a few JP games.

I agree with Spyrannosaurus. For one thing, I am one of the people who think Spino ate fish almost entirely. A few small dinosaur, less than 16 ft, and carrion here and there. I think Oxalaia would have been similar.
ReplyPhilosiraptorDinosaurs ForumGood News Eveyone!Jun 5, 2013
Carnotaurus vs Baryonyx should be interesting.
ReplyNo longer activeDinosaurs ForumOxalaiaJun 5, 2013
And Giganotosaurus would probably win. About the same size but bulkier and more of a hunter.
ReplyNo longer activeDinosaurs ForumOxalaiaJun 5, 2013
I think Oxalaia was to Spinosaurus what Tarbosaurus was to T-Rex: Slightly smaller, very similar and a continent away
ReplyRex Fan 684Jurassic World ForumMy Plot Idea for JPIVJun 5, 2013
I love that. The story is kind of like the 2nd book when Dodgson went to get eggs on Sorna. The Liopleurodon was great. The size may be too large, but that's how big I think it was. It introduces an awesome marine reptile without going to far. I like using the Carchars. They give a new carnivore. No battle between Rex and Spino will keep the Rex and Spino fans happy. I love the end. Tyrannosaurus gets a great return and I am sure that Carchar fans won't mind. Their favorite get's the spotlight and Rex gets a nice return. Well done. I love it!

Neovenator was an allosaurian dinosaur. Cousin of Carcharodontosaurus, Mapusaurus, Allosaurus, etc

The genre is "Epanterias" and is the species "E. amplexus".

you cant support the whole project off of de-evolving, for youll end up with a small chicken sized dinosaurs with feathers and it clucks...
Using my way you get more of an actual dinosaur, because you can retrieve DNA from fossils, granted its not a lot, but still if you gather enough from different fossils it should be enough....
id say it needs to be 70% dino 30% chicken... as i speak i have a "rooster-saurus rex" who was a science project of mine a while ago...
once you've bred one you need to keep breeding results to get a fully "scaled" dino...

I think Ichthyovenator is unique. It had a wierd chip in the spine... But is neovenator a Spinosaur?

Judging by the masasaur on site a, id expect they would've bred them and kept the water dinos in the big river on site b, *pretty hard to miss*
also this is on site a, its guaranteed that the massasaur died, he
didnt have enough food.... and he was the only aquatic Dino there...
Boats will probably be done for jp4, they're used too many times

Reminds me of Acrocanthosaurus with more of a Spinosaurid build.

I like Amargasaurus and Spinophorosaurus. Amargasaurus had the cool spikes, and Spinophorosaurus had an awesome tail.

That's what I have been getting at all this time, thank you future paleontologist. I would like to hear Spino Rex's reasoning, but not if it's in a I Know Everything And You Know Nothing kind of attitude. I mean no disrespect and I doubt it will be, but futurepaleontologist has a point. You did come off very strongly with it.

I see where they come from with the sail of course. Perhaps Acro was indeed a spinosaur. Maybe a very primitive one. They seem to be related to the megalosaurs which are similar to the more advanced allosaurs. Perhaps Acro was a primitive spinosaur that started to change it's body plan slightly, the sail, but still retained a very allosaurian body. Just a thought. It's a stretch I know, but it's a thought.

ReplyRex Fan 684Jurassic World ForumMy JP4 IdeaJun 4, 2013
I understand what you guys are saying. It's very different from the "standard" Jurassic Park, but sometimes different is good. It has to be introduced right though. No offense to Spino fans, but they did not introduce Spino very well. I think it would have been ok if they replaced Rex with Spino, but they did it the wrong way. They should not have killed off the T-rex, just simply not have him. If they were to introduce my JP 4 idea well, then it would go well. If they were to louse it up, then it would be a disaster.

The B-Rex thing on 60 minutes a few years back is the chicken with teeth and stuff. I do think, though, that if you gave a gator a gene for hyper-growth, you could create a reasonable facsimile of a deinosuchus. Raptor could come from reverse engineering a chicken's genes, or maybe a larger bird. Or, scientists could just go to the congo and capture one of those dinosaurs that they say live there. Then they could clone them...

What if they land on one island and then have to leave it and travel to the other island by boat?v That would be a good introduction scene for Predator X (pliosaurus funkei, but predator x sounds cooler). Then they get shipwrecked on the other island after a PX attack.
ReplyPhilosiraptorDinosaurs ForumMarine Dino's?Jun 4, 2013
Deinosuchus is on Site B. It lives at the lake, so at least we know Deinosuchus is possible.
ReplyPhilosiraptorDinosaurs ForumWhat if Tyrannosaurus was just discovered?Jun 4, 2013
He'd probably be just another theropod. He'd be a Mapusaurus or Tyrannotitan. Cool, but just not very famous. He would be a little more prominent because of his arms and bite force, but scientists wouldn't be interested enough in him. If Spinosaurus took his place in history, for example, and T-Rex beat Spino in JP3, then people would be pretty pissed off. They'd be like "how the fruk did this little stubby armed thing beat the king?", but same goes with if Giganotosaurus was discovered first or even Carcharodontosaurus. Rex would easily have been replaced. When Rex was discovered, it was right place right time. He had an interesting look, and Triceratops attributed to his fame as well. Spinosaurus didn't have a classic enemy, really, so it wouldn't have achieved the fame T-Rex did, but it would still be above T-Rex if he was discovered just recently. The entire world would be different.
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumWhy I KNOW Spinosaurus is the BiggestJun 4, 2013
I just feel like #1 Spinosaurus Rex shouldn't come on that strong if he's just going to state facts (No disrespect intended) and that he should at least read Rex Fan's side first. It makes sense if you keep the build of the 2 animals in consideration.

Bring back Gerry Harding from the first movie. He's never been used since except in the new Jurassic park video game. And also include Ed Regis from the first Jurassic park novel. I also have an origin to the spinosaurs, before Hammond died he gave his cane to ingen, and in turn ingen made the spinosaurs from the DNA from the misquito in the cane. Let me know what u think.
Replyfuturepaleontologist1Dinosaurs ForumFavourite SpinosaurJun 4, 2013
Yeah, why would Acrocanthosaurus be considered a spinosauridae? The skull doesn't match up, and neither do the arms. This needs some major reconsideration, because Acrocanthosaurus is very Allosaurid like, as Rex Fan stated. People are weird sometimes...

ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumWhat if Tyrannosaurus was just discovered?Jun 4, 2013
If T-Rex was recently discovered, then people probably would be pissed that T-Rex won. I think Rex was discovered first because who would look in the desert or deep in the rainforest?
