Terrance's Story: New World Chapter 4

Not sure what to say. Enjoy Alone Several years after finding hill and taking over a good chunk of the area around it, Terrance and Thorn felt the kids were ready to fend for themselves. They drove them off, and they all went together, far away from the hill, ready to hunt without Terrance and Thorn. Thorn looks at Terrance, and Terrance looks at her, both wondering what to do now. They decide to go hunting. They walk for a few miles, and they see something at the bottom of a cliff. When they found a way down, they checked it out. It was a Rex skeleton, roughly the same size as Terrance, bones cracked, and they could tell it had fell from the cliff. Terrance was trying to figure it out, and then he remembered when they had first come to the area. Terrance figured the male he had met had thrown it off the cliff, and they continued the hunt. When they found an Edmontosaurus herd, Terrance hid, and Thorn went to separate one from the group. She chose an older member of the herd, struggling to keep up. She ran out of the tree line, and quickly caught up. After a chasing it for a minute, she got bored and tried to kill it herself. She killed it quickly, and was already eating when Terrance showed up. He saw her attack, and had been walking over to help, but it wasn't needed. Terrance let her eat a few bites before he began. Hunting was easy enough for Terrance and Thorn, and the was plenty of food, but there was something watching them, and they aren't interested in their kill.
