Jurassic World Evolution is going to be the Jurassic Park game we've all been waiting for. New gameplay footage of the Jurassic World park simulator has surfaced online following a preview session at Universal where select attendees were given an advanced opportunity to play through some of the game's features. In addition to the praise by those who took part, a new gameplay trailer for the game has also been released which also highlights many of the game's core features:
In Jurassic World Evolution you are in complete control. It is up to you to build and structure your theme park to maximize guest experiences and ensure a livable habitat for your Dinosaurs. You also need to tend to your Dinosaur population as well as your guests, ensuring both Man and Dinosaur are well fed and well entertained.
When it comes to breeding your own Dinosaurs, the functionality is very reminiscent of the way Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis functioned - you will need to activate various dig sites to unlock the genetic code required to breed specific Dinosaurs.
In addition to hatching new breeds of Dinosaur, you will need to manage various natural disasters which will affect the stability of your Jurassic World - Tornados are the WORST. When Dinosaurs break free, and they will get loose, you will need to act quickly to contain them and place them back in their proper confines.
The game's graphics are absolutely stunning and from what we've seen so far, the gameplay itself is smooth and very befitting of a truly iconic Jurassic Park title. The models have all been fashioned after the various new aesthetics seen in Jurassic World, with some designs paying homage to the original Jurassic Park trilogy.
