They were so preoccupied wondering if they could, they never stopped to think if they should... Images of an officially licensed Distortus Rex Halloween costume have been listed on Target – and it's probably one of the most puzzling costume adaptations we've seen yet. It is it an extremely awkward presentation – without someone telling you it's a D-Rex costume, most people will probably assume it's some kind of a mutated / zombie Beekeeper – equally as terrifying and unnecessary.
Some movie monsters simply don't need to be adapted to Halloween costumes. The D-Rex's odd proportions and stature were designed to be unnatural and awkward-looking, which works great in movies but not so great in costume form.
What do you think? Is this the worst costume you've seen? Or are you looking forward to dressing up as a Distortus Rex this Halloween? Sound off in the comments!
