Although completionists love deleted scenes, in most cases their ommission from the theatrical release of a movie are well justified, potentially slowing down the pace of the movies narrative had they been included. Sometimes this means that scenes which will have strengthened a relationship between characters, or further explained part of the movies mystery is lost. But thanks to the deleted scenes menu and additional re-cuts of the movie made after the theatrical release most of these scenes are usually reintroduced back into the final product; for completionists and fans alike.
