Tom Holland has rocketed to stardom thanks to his major roles as Spiderman in 'Captain America: Civil War'. The actor currently  is undergoing his press tour for his future role in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'. During the interview with THR, the interviewer asked Tom Holland if he would be interested in a role in the Jurassic World Sequel. Holland responded:

I don't know if I'm available for that. We[Bayona] had a chat one time. There is a role there, but I don't think I'll be available to do it, unfortunately.

This quote is interesting because it does reveal that there is an open role that would fit Tom Holland's description in the Jurassic World sequel. Tom Holland is about 20, which would fit right in with the rumored role of 'Clint'. This casting call, which has since been taken offline, searched for 20 something males, and would have filled the role of a Systems Architect in the film.

Holland's schedule precluded him from taking the role. According to the THR article, Holland's schedule is filled for the next few years, with three Spider Man movies in his contract and three solo movies starring the character as well. It remains to be seen if he may be considered for a role in a possible third movie given that JA Bayona appears to have personally made the offer to him originally.

Holland previously worked with JA Bayona as a CGI stand in for 'A Monster Calls'. Bayona it seems has a close working relationship with with the actor, leading to the offer for him to return for the Jurassic World Sequel.

Jurassic World 2 will be released on June 22, 2018. Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt will return to play Claire Dearing and Owen Grady in the film. Toby Jones and Rafe Spall will star in unspecified roles as well. The movie will be directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, who has directed 'The Impossible.
