Scrapped Jurassic Park 4 concept art reveals weaponized Human-Raptor hybrids!

Before Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly teamed up with Steven Spielberg to bring Jurassic World to the silver screen, a very different Jurassic Park installment had been conceived and thankfully shut down by Universal Studios. Many fans will recall that the original Jurassic Park 4 script featured genetically modified Human - Dinosaur hybrid soldiers. No, we're not joking.

Recently, concept artist Carlos Huante shared a piece of art from when JP4 was in its concept phase. Posting to his Instagram account, Huante shared a photo of a Raptor / Human hybrid with cyborg-like weaponry fused to its body. Check it out:

Whatever gripes you may have had about Jurassic World, I think everyone can agree that what we received last summer was MUCH better than what could've been. What do you think of the scrapped Jurassic Park 4 concepts? Let us know in the comments section!

It would have been to close to Far Cry 2004's mutants, also set on an exotic island:

I prefer Jurassic World's story over what could of happened.

@duggadugga

You might think its cool now but I think you would have a different opinion if this was the final movie. Human-Dinosaur hybrids sounds so much like a crappy asylum/screen gems movie.

I'm absolutely stunned by how epic this looks!! Yet, now that I think about it, this would have most likely been a little too extreme for the actual theme of Jurassic World, and it would also have completely taken the plot to a whole new level! I'm sticking with the new plot that actually occurred in the JW movie. :D

I honestly think this idea is laughable yet innovative. I mean there's only sooo much you can keep rehashing with a single Series before things become bland & predictable. Could have been interesting having BioEngineered Hybrids but I believe the Execution & Purpose of this idea would be incredibly lackluster :B

Hi. Though it smells like a not-so-good series B/Syfy movie, it could have been at least a different take on the franchise. I liked the final movie, yes, because and BUT (at the same time) it's still a remake/reboot of JP disguised of sequel and without its own personality.
