Rumor: Sam Neill secretly spotted on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movie set?

We already know that the Jurassic World sequel Fallen Kingdom is bringing back Jeff Goldblum to reprise his role as franchise icon Dr. Ian Malcolm, even if for a small cameo role. But it would appear that despite initial claims, the fifth Jurassic installment may feature another Jurassic Park icon - Sam Neill!

Yes, back when Jurassic World was generating hype there were many rumors circulating that Neill would reprise his role as Dr. Alan Grant but obviously those rumors proved to be untrue at the time. However, as of most recently it would appear that Sam Neill has once again been thrown into the rumor mill for Jurassic World 2!

Unconfirmed sources have claimed to have spotted Sam Neill arriving on-set for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in a blacked out SUV. His arrival and departure were reportedly kept secret and not publicized like Goldblum's return. According to iHorror:

According to the Youtube show Mr Sunday Movies, there’s a good chance that fellow Jurassic Park star Sam Neill will also return to reprise his role of Dr. Alan Grant. According to the show’s source, Neill was recently seen arriving on set, after being dropped off in a blacked-out SUV.

If true, this would prove to be a fantastic addition to the nostalgia-driven cast already present in Fallen Kingdom. However if Neill is returning as Alan Grant in Jurassic World 2, we wonder if his involvement will be on a small scale like Goldblum's or something more prominent. Whether the rumor proves to be true or not, the prospect of Sam Neill returning to the Jurassic Park franchise is an exciting one to consider.
