Rumor: First Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer to premiere at Comic Con?

Yesterday, the long awaited title for Jurassic World 2 was revealed to be Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. While much of the plot remains shrouded in secrecy, it has recently come to light that may not be the case much longer. As some readers may recall, a teaser was rumored to exist for the upcoming film at the end of May.

This teaser rumor was shortly debunked by Universal a day later, and fans were left wondering when they would next get the chance to first see official footage from the film.

Chronicle Collectibles, a official licensing partner for Jurassic World, hosts a weekly live stream on their Facebook page wherein they discuss the new products. This company specializes in collector grade statues, and will be working on merchandise for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. As part of their timetable for working on the merchandise, they let it be known that they were aware of Universal's marketing scheme for the film. Paul Francis, the art director and co-founder from from Chronicle collectibles weighed in what he had heard:

"Universal is gonna start rolling out some trailers, I think the first trailer will be sometime around comic con?"

For these who do not know, San Diego Comic Con is being held next month, July 20th-July 23rd. Universal Studios typically has its panel showcasing its slate for the next few years on Saturday of the convention, so the teaser, if any is displayed will likely fall on July 23rd.
